The Happy Helpers become safari guides for the day.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Daisy singing a song she made up. When she finished singing, it had attracted Figaro. Not only that, it also attracted other animals, namely five birds, two more cats, and two squirrels. Suddenly, Minnie gets a call. Minnie kept saying “Ahh”, making Cuckoo Loca think it was her dentist, but it was actually Ivy Beaglesnoot at the Hot Dog Hills Wild Animal Safari Park. Their tour guide is away for the day, so she wanted them to fill in. They go into the Turnstyler and dress up as tour guides.
When they arrive, Ms. Beaglesnoot gives the Happy Helpers a safari book with all the information need to answer questions along the way. She then lets everyone in to take the tour, namely the McBilly family, the McSnorter family (except Mrs. McSnorter), and a special duck named Lou-Lou. She had dreamt of taking a picture of Penny the Panda since she was little. The Happy Helpers promise they’ll find her, but Cuckoo Loca thinks it will be hard.
They move away from the main gate. Mrs. McBilly sees something. She thinks it is a huge, hairy wild beast. Lou-Lou thinks it is Penny. They move closer to see it is actually Pete. He is giving prairie dogs a bath, and everyone takes pictures. The prairie dogs suddenly chase each other, which makes Pete lose his can of water. It lands on the safari book and the pages get torn. Daisy is worried that without the guide, they won’t know what to say, but Minnie suggests they try their best and wing it.
They go to a tree and see gorillas, to which Daisy thinks they’re monkeys. The tour group takes pictures. The baby gorilla entertains the tour group, and then she takes Mr. McSnorter’s camera because he wants to take his picture too, so he invites his children. After the picture, the mother gorilla takes the camera and takes more pictures. She gives a banana to her and the mother gorilla kisses her and she receives gorilla slobber on her face. Lou-Lou thinks she saw Penny, so they continue on their journey to find out.
They stop again and see elephants, which are pachyderms, to which Daisy thinks they’re canines. They take pictures, and then Pete makes them do a trick. After the trick, Lou-Lou thinks she sees Penny. They drive right into a giraffe, and Buddy McBilly jokes that it’s a spotted long-necked horse-opotamus. As they take pictures, Pete accidentally releases a swarm of jungle bees that follow them. They successfully lose them, but they had driven over a rock that flattened their tire, which means that Lou-Lou won’t find Penny and get her picture.
As Minnie changes the tire, Daisy and Cuckoo Loca try to entertain the tour group. Daisy suggests singing the song she sang. Everyone sings it, attracting many animals, as well as some changing the tire. It gives Daisy an idea: If they keep singing the song, it will attract Penny and make her come out too, and it works! She even has two baby panda cubs, which is why she was hiding. The episode ends with a photo of everyone being taken.
