The Roadster Racers compete in the first ever Hot Dog Hills hot air balloon race.
Synopsis
The episode begins at the Roadster garage, where Mickey is having trouble deciding on what route to race on. He gets inspiration from Goofy filling his tires with helium and decides to make a hot-air balloon race. The scene cuts to the race course, where the racers, including Pete, present their Hot Air Balloon Roadsters. Before Billy Beagle can start the race, however, a new competitor enters: it is revealed to be Pete's cousin, famous stunt-pilot Sky Commander Peterlowski.
The race is officially underway, and Peterlowski uses beans to pop Goofy's balloons while Pete prevents Mickey from helping his friend. Peterlowski is about to pop Daisy's balloon as well when Mickey rescues her. Then, Peterlowski betrays his own cousin as he anchors Pete to a pole in order to win, much to Pete's dismay. Mickey rescues Pete and the two agree to take down Peterlowski.
Minnie and Donald are leading the race but Peterlowski cuts Donald's strings, making him fall. Pete and Mickey save Donald before his fall becomes fatal before Peterlowski goes after Minnie. He tries to cut her strings as well but Minnie distracts him, making him dizzy. The race then goes into some clouds and Peterlowski ties up Minnie to cut her strings. However, Pete stops his cousin from making more damage and Minnie falls into Mickey's Roadster. Peterlowski and his Roadster fall into the river and he vows for vengeance. Pete wins the race and earns the Golden Blimp Trophy, but the wind picks up his Roadster and Pete is stuck thanks to his uniform.
