Goofy grows a hot dog tree with the help of Pete and his potent fertilizer.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins at the community farm Mickey and friends constructed earlier. Mickey checks on the farm as everyone does their chores, such as Minnie and Susie cleaning the pigs, Chip and Dale and Hilda Hippo collecting eggs from the chickens, etc. Pete arrives on the farm and Mickey shows him around while Butch and Pluto play with each other. Mickey takes Pete to the vegetable garden as they see Goofy planting a hot dog into the ground. He explains his dream of growing a humongous hot dog tree, which excites Pete. Mickey tries to explain that hot dogs don't grow on trees and not to set unrealistic expectations, but they do not listen.
Goofy and Pete try growing a hot dog tree, to no avail. Pete comes up with an idea to make a special fertilizer to make accelerate the growth, so he and Goofy go into the barn and perfect a growing formula. However, as they pour it on the hot dog, everything else on the farm begins growing exponentially, wreaking havoc on the farm. Mickey uses his bulldozer to save everyone and get the giant fruits and vegetables out of the way. Goofy and Pete apologize for causing trouble for everyone on the farm. Mickey uses his bulldozer again to pull the hot dog out of the ground, which has also grown exponentially thanks to Pete's fertilizer. Everyone is then seen having a Southern-style barbecue to get rid of the giant foodstuffs. The episode ends with Pete sneaking away to pour his elixir on a lollipop in the hopes of growing a giant lollipop tree.
Minnie's voice is now officially taken over by Kaitlyn Robrock.
The episode notably features a moment that seems to parody the AMC series Breaking Bad where Goofy and Pete, in an attempt to make the perfect hot dog fertilizer, don yellow suits and gasmasks that mimic those of the lead characters from said series.
