When Goofy gets his toe injured and has to use a wheelchair before his dance competition, his pal Chester teaches him a wheelchair dance.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Goofy turning in a form to enter in the Hot Dog Hills dance competition to Mayor McBeagle. He begins dancing all over Hot Dog Hills as practice for the competition. As he dances though, he enters a hospital and slips a water puddle, crashing hard. Later, it is shown that Goofy injured one of his toes and is forced to use a wheelchair to move around. He is greatly upset since it means he won't be able to dance in the competition later.
Goofy begins making his way back home but has trouble getting around in his wheelchair as he tries to get on a sidewalk from the road. His friend Chester comes and Goofy explains what happened to him. Chester shows Goofy how to get around in a wheelchair easier, such as leaning backwards when getting on the sidewalk and going downwards on hills. Chester then shows Goofy how one can fun have on a wheelchair, such as playing basketball and going bowling. Goofy is still disappointed that he can't dance in the competition, but Chester shows him a dance routine that can be done by a duo in wheelchairs. They perform it and they had fun while earning applause from the gang.
Come next morning, Goofy's toe snaps back into whack, exciting him since he doesn't need the wheelchair anymore and can dance in the competition at night. Goofy tells this to Chester, who tries to be happy for Goofy, even though he is sad since he doesn't have a dance partner anymore. At night, the competition is underway, and Minnie sees a disappointed Chester and explains it to Goofy. He apologizes to Chester for accidentally hurting his feelings and gets back into a wheelchair and performs the dance routine they practiced. Goofy and Chester win the trophy. The episode ends with Goofy modifying it into a wheelchair trophy and giving it to Chester.
