"Super-Duper-Stitious Day!" is the second segment of the seventy-eighth episode of Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures. It premiered on November 13, 2020 alongside "Wheelchair Pals", and is the second segment of the twenty-seventh episode in the third season.
Preparations for the Harvest Festival go sideways when Daisy discovers it's Friday the 13th.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins inside the Happy Helpers building, with Daisy freaking out. Minnie explains to Cuckoo-Loca that Daisy must have triskaidekaphobia, or fear of the number 13, after discovering that today is Friday the 13th. Minnie then gets a call from Mickey asking the girls for help for setting up the Harvest Festival set to take place later tonight.
The Happy Helpers arrive at the community farm, where they meet Goofy, Mickey, and Donald cleaning the place up for the festival. Cuckoo-Loca accidentally brings up the fact that today is Friday the 13th, startling Mickey and freaking out Daisy even more. Daisy hides in one of the haystacks inside the barn and Minnie tries to calm Daisy saying that nothing bad is going to happen to her, but Daisy remains scared when she sees a ladder people are able to walk under and Figaro walking in front of her. Mickey then freaks out when he accidentally drops some cheese, bringing up a superstition that dropping cheese makes you sneeze. He then begins sneezing when the wind blows straw and dust, making Mickey go inside the barn to look for a tissue. He then finds Daisy and both freak out when they see Figaro walking around again. Daisy realizes that nothing bad has happened and wonders if Minnie was right about superstitions.
Goofy reveals to also be superstitious when he realizes he accidentally put ketchup on the hot dogs before mustard, and immediately begins remedying it by patting his head while hopping on one of his feet. Donald is also superstitious, claiming bad things will happen should you step on a leaf. This leaves Minnie and Cuckoo-Loca the only ones preparing the farm for the Harvest Festival. Daisy realizes Minnie was right about superstitions and apologizes for not helping sooner. She and Minnie then explain to the boys that their superstitions are also silly so they can prepare for the Harvest Festival. Come nighttime, the Harvest Festival is now underway, but Mayor McBeagle excuses himself when he sees rhubarb on the table, also being superstitious. Daisy, however, convinces him to stay with some dessert. The episode ends with Cuckoo-Loca jokingly bringing up a superstition that flying underneath a blue moon means desert is coming soon.
