Synopsis[]
The episode begins in the Roadster Garage, with the gang preparing waffles to surprise Donald for his birthday. However, Chip and Dale end up eating them and apologizes to Donald. Dejected, Donald goes back into the Roadster Garage. Feeling bad for messing up Donald's birthday, Chip and Dale come up with a plan to make it up to him: a Fast Food 500. Each of the racers must ride a food-themed roadster and race them around Hot Dog Hills to their favorite restaurants and complete challenges there. Mickey rides a hot dog, Minnie rides a waffle, Goofy rides a pineapple, Daisy rides a pizza slice, and Donald rides a slice of birthday cake. The race is underway, with Billy Beagle announcing it.
The first challenge takes place at the Waffle House, where the racers must catch a waffle in their mouths. Everyone except Donald manages to catch one, so Donald ends up catching a partially-eaten one, with the other half being eaten by a baby bird. The second challenge takes place at the Salami House, where the racers must catch pieces of meat to make Donald's favorite sandwich. However, Chip and Dale run out of ingredients by the time Donald arrives, so they end up making a sandwich using the giant sausage. The third challenge takes place at the Pizza House, where the racers must catch and toss a piece of pizza dough with three ingredients, so the pizza can be delivered to the Roadster Garage. Unfortunately, Donald's dough is all stretched out, so it ends up being an extra-extra-extra large pizza.
The final challenge takes place back at the Roadster Garage, and it is to decorate their own birthday cake. Everyone begins decorating their cakes, and Donald wins with his decoration. Chip and Dale annoy Donald by popping out of his birthday cake, but forgives them for giving him some fun for his birthday. The episode ends with everyone going out to get the pizzas they created and Chip and Dale laughing.
