The Happy Helpers are helping Pete get things ready for his Halloween party at the haunted house at Spooky View Lane, with Minnie stating that Mickey and the gang are bringing a huge surprise. Minnie, Daisy, and Cuckoo Loca then arrive at Spooky View Lane to help Pete set up the Halloween Party.
They then see how spooky the house is. Once they head inside, Pete greets them. He tells the reasons why he thinks his party will be a disaster. A door soon slams by itself, and it is soon revealed that they are stalked by three mischievous ghosts named Mugsy, Slip, and Earl that reside at the haunted house. As Minnie, Daisy, Pete, and Cuckoo-Loca prepare the house, the ghosts prank them.
After strange things happen around the house, Minnie, Daisy, Cuckoo Loca, and Pete get scared out of the house by the ghosts. Pete decides to call the party off, but Minnie and Daisy decide to prevent that from happening by catching the ghosts with a vacuum cleaner. They then go through the turnstyler and are prepared to clean house. However, the ghosts continue to scare them. After Minnie does the vacuuming, Pete tells the ghosts that they aren't invited, but they aren't going anywhere. Minnie tries to vacuum them to no avail. The ghosts then head around the house with the others giving chase. The ghosts soon lock Minnie, Daisy, and Cuckoo-Loca in a room. Cuckoo-Loca uses her wind-up key to unlock the door.
As Minnie is about to vacuum the ghosts, they escape again until they are halted by a jack-o'-lantern (which is what Mickey, Goofy, and Donald brought for the party) before they are vacuumed. The ghosts then give up, as they promise to not scare anyone anymore. Pete then appears, and Cuckoo-Loca mentions what happened. The ghosts state how great Halloween is, and how the house belonged to them. So, the Happy Helpers and Pete decide that the ghosts can stay in their haunted home as "Ghosts of Honor" to add some spooky atmosphere for Pete's Halloween party, making it a success.
