The first ever Pets and Pistons Race is started upon the suggestion of Danni Sue (Danica Patrick) and her pet dog Dallas as she has many friends with pets where the racers and their pets must complete three different challenges which Daisy and Cuckoo Loca help set up. Mickey races with Pluto, Pete races with Butch, Donald races with Francisco, Minnie races with Figaro, and Goofy races with his pet goldfish Goldie. During this time, Pluto competes with Butch for the attention of Dallas, which nearly costs them the race with Butch's showboating and Pluto's jealousy with Butch.[1]
Plot[]
The episode begins with Billy Beagle introducing Hot Dog Hills to the first ever Pets and Pistons Race, thanking Dannie Sue for coming with the idea. The racers and their pets arrive at the starting line:

Mickey with Pluto
Pete with Butch
Minnie with Figaro
Donald with a bull named Francisco
Goofy with his goldfish Goldie
Daisy and Cuckoo-Loca are the referees for the race. They announce that the pets will have to complete three challenges while racing to the finish line. Pluto and Butch like Dallas, with Pluto being jealous of Butch trying to get Dallas' attention. The race is now underway.
The first challenge is frisbee fetch. Butch cheats by jumping into Mickey's Roadster and catching a frisbee meant for Pluto. Pluto attempts to imitate Butch but is not very successful. As everyone catches their frisbees, they move onto the next challenge, which is to jump through hoops. Butch performs tricks to impress Dallas, with Pete telling Butch to stop it. Pluto again attempts to mimic Butch but his hoop breaks, forcing Mickey to rescue him. As the others jump through Pluto's hoop, Mickey tells Pluto not to be jealous of Butch just because he also likes Dallas.
The final challenge is Mecha-Ball fetch, where all the pets have to find a red Mecha-Ball and bring it to their owners. Butch begins juggling the Mecha-Balls to impress Dallas again. Envious again, Pluto presses a button on the machine, causing lots of Mecha-Balls to flood out, making all the pets and Roadster flow off the cliff into a river. Mickey lectures Pluto for being jealous of Butch while Danni points out to Pete that Butch has not been exactly a good sport either. Pluto spots some skateboarders and the racers use the skateboards to finish the race. Danni and Dallas win. The episode ends with Dallas being friends with Pluto while she scoffs Butch.
