Learning Session b. Checking of Attendance
c. Quick Kamustahan
A. Introduction

Greet the students and introduce the topic:

Briefly explain that today's lesson will be about
"Prudence Peace Concepts" which means making
wise choices to create peace within ourselves and
with others.

Set the tone for reflection: Ask students to think

about a time when they made a good choice that
helped create peace (e.g., sharing a toy, resolving a
conflict calmly). Invite a few students to share their
experiences.

B. Reflective Thinking

Show the YouTube video: Play the chosen Little Red

Riding Hood video. Encourage students to pay
attention to the choices made by Little Red and the
Wolf and their consequences.
Individual reflection: Distribute the construction
paper circles and ask students to write down one
lesson they learned from the story about making wise
choices. Briefly discuss their answers individually or
as a whole class.
C. Structured Values Activities

Structure Values Activity: Introduce three core

values related to Prudence Peace Concepts: Respect,
Responsibility, and Cooperation. Explain how these
values can help us make wise choices.
Scenario building: Present different scenarios based
on the Little Red Riding Hood story (e.g., Little Red
decides to take a shortcut through the woods, the Wolf
tries to trick Little Red into opening the door).
Group discussion: Divide students into small groups
and assign each group a different scenario. In their
groups, students discuss how each value (Respect,
Responsibility, Cooperation) could have helped Little
Red make different choices in the scenario.
Sharing and presentation: Each group presents their
chosen scenario and their solutions based on the
three values to the class. Encourage respectful
feedback and discussion.
D. Group Sharing and Reflection

Yarn web of peace: Gather students in a circle and

provide a ball of yarn. One student starts by sharing a
wise choice they would have made in the Little Red
Riding Hood story and throws the yarn ball to another
student who does the same. Continue until everyone
has shared and a web of connections is formed.
Class reflection: Ask students to reflect on what they
learned throughout the lesson and how they can apply
it in their daily lives. Discuss how making wise choices
can help them feel safe and create peace with others.

E. Feedback and Reinforcement

Quick review: Briefly recap the key points of the

lesson: making wise choices, core values of
respect, responsibility, and cooperation.

Reinforcement activity: Distribute short slips of

paper and ask students to write down one way they
will make a wise choice like Little Red in the future
(e.g., telling a trusted adult if someone tries to trick
them, being responsible for their own safety).
Collect the slips and encourage them to remember
their commitment.
