Activity 6 – Enhancing a Face - to - Face Learning Environment


To have a meaningful and successful accomplish in this FS episode, be sure to
read through the whole episode before participating and assisting in your FS 2
Resource Teacher's class. Note all the information you will need and tasks you will need
to do before working on this episode.

Participate and Assist


Given the concepts and the infographic, how can you participate and assist in a
face-to-face learning environment?
- As a future educator, I will volunteer myself assisting those who are having
difficulty on comprehending the lesson. I will help to build up courage to take
a stand, share their thoughts with the class. I addition, I will consider letting
the students work independently as well as in groups in order for them to
develop their analytical skill, creativity, and social skill. With my experience in
technology, I do believe that I can use it to provide an interactive and
encouraging lesson enhancing their learning and imagination.

NOTICE
Having been expose to the traditional classrooms in your basic education, it
seems that everything is familiar. However, as teaching-learning theories evolve over
time there are changes taking place.
What have you noticed in the face-to-face classroom spaces?
Classroom Environment Before Classroom Environment Now
Crowded & Carefree – the classroom Distancing – after the pandemic the number of
environment before seems crowded, caused by students in each classes have been reduced, to
different group of students even from the other accommodate social distancing.

Written Materials – in the past the teacher uses

manila paper for learning materials, the students
now commonly used in teaching ang reporting,
also use it for reporting. for it a more convenient way of showing the
ideas and thoughts that the discussant wanted
to show.
Reading at the Library – if a student needed Searching – the students can now use a mobile
additional information about a certain topic they phone for searching the information or data they
can go to the library and read the books. need.
Black Board – one of the oldest technologies Flat Screen TVs and & Projectors – modern
used in teaching is the blackboard, being use to technology are now being infused in teaching,
create a presentation. the DepEd is providing Flat Screen TVs in a few
classroom nationally.

ANALYZE
What do you think brought the changes in the face-to-face learning environment now?
- I do believe that the school promises to help the student for their future and a
thing of the future is technology. The schools now starting to incorporate
technology in their learning environment to provide an effective learning. After
the pandemic the classrooms have been rearrange to accommodate fewer
students making it more efficient and productive.

From the changes that you identified, choose one that you can do. How will you do it?
- With the best that I can, I would choose to help with the classroom layout and
the student arrangement. This may seem pretty normal but in successfully
doing so the class can become efficient, because planning the arrangement
properly can help the idea pass easily and it may be beneficial that someone
socialize while learning.

REFLECT
Do you think making the learning environment conducive for a face-to-face class will
enable the learners to achieve better learning outcomes? Explain your answer.
- Yes, establishing a stimulating and learning environment increases students
focus and attention while also motivating them to engage in the teaching and
learning process, making it an effective way of increasing the student’s
accomplishments. Additionally, it calls for greater resources, time, and effort
for assignments, as well as the chance for pupils to use what they have
learned in different contexts. Additionally, it offers students the chance to
learn in a variety of settings.

What common problem have I noticed in the face-to-face learning environment?
- The noise, brought by overcrowding due to socializing of students in and out
of the room.

- How to deal with Loitering and Noise Management within the Class?
REFLECT
How would I do to solve the problem?
- Implementing the rules and policies set to serve as a standard for the
students. Having a quite environment makes it a relaxing and conducive.
Will it improve my teaching? YES, How?
- Students will be more able to concentrate with my teaching, therefore making
it efficient and effective. This also improves my way of delivering the lesson,
by means of directly involving all the students in my lesson.

PLAN
What will I do to solve the problem? Describe briefly how you will do it.
- In order for my students to behave properly both inside and outside of the
classroom, I would create something special. This helps students improve
their values, attitudes, and level of discipline in a particular setting.
