Harahettania is a kingdom known as the Land of Poverty that resides on Namakura Island. The kingdom contains a Satan worshiping tribe run by Pekkori.

Geography[]

Harahettania has a fairly barren landscape, with dirt and grasslands and few trees. Its buildings are fairly small and run down, each based on a feudal Japanese architecture style. The island also has a large amount of rocks.

Citizens[]

Apart from Pekkori, none of the inhabitants of Harahettania have been named. They all seem to follow Pekkori's advice without question, notably when obeying his misinterpretation of Brook's request to see panties.

History[]

The kingdom is completely ravaged and the people there live in destitution. The turmoil of the country can be largely attributed to the Longarm Tribe. Because of this, the people decided to rely on a demon summoning ritual to solve their problems. It was during the very moment they were doing this ritual that Brook landed here after being sent flying from the Sabaody Archipelago by Kuma's Devil Fruit powers. Having landed precisely during the ritual, Pekkori and his people believed that they've successfully summoned Satan, the "King of Demons".[1]

Trivia[]

  • The nation's name Harahettania is an allusion to the japanese phrase hara hetta, a casual way to say "I'm hungry".
  • It is likely that Kuma visited this island at some point, where he would later on send Brook as he did with the other Straw Hat Pirates, during the events of Chapter 1099.
