William Bondy (1870-1964) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
He was nominated by President Warren Harding on February 28, 1923 to fill the seat vacated by Julius Mayer. Bondy was succeeded in this position by Frederick Bryan. In 1955 and 1956, he was chief judge. On May 1, 1956, he assumed senior status. He continued to serve in this capacity until his death on March 30, 1964.[1]
