An appeal to an older — and whiter — America as the heir to “Camelot” backs Donald Trump in the 2024 election. Tulsi Gabbard has also joined the campaign for MAGA and 45. With pro-lifers mobilizing against Trump 2024, is there a realignment underway? And what is the role of race in determining the new American political battlefield?

  1. The RKF Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard endorsements of Trump are great news, because these endorsements push the Trump campaign back towards a nationalist America First message on foreign policy.

RFK Jr. spoke of the need to end Neocon control of US foreign policy as one of the big 3 reasons why he was endorsing Trump.

Tulsi Gabbard made opposition to counter-productive wars the main reason for her endorsement of Trump.

There is now an entire team of antiwar politicians around Trump – RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek R., and JD Vance

Trump’s 2016 America First campaign was a first big step towards ending Neocon control of the Republican Party. The antiwar team now surrounding Trump is a second step in the right direction.

Unfortunately, Trump’s team is trying to simultaneously pose as more antiwar than the Democrats, yet also more pro-Israel than the Democrats.

They will need to choose which of these two stances takes priority, because the Israel lobby (which includes, but is not limited to, the Neocons) has been the driving force behind most US wars since 1990.

All of the conflicts the US government is currently involved in are wars for Israel, including:
Military foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine
Economic sanctions against Russia, Iran and Syria
Bombing campaigns against Yemen, Iraq and Syria

(US government hostility towards Russia is payback for Russian support of Syria, because Syria in turn supports Hezbollah and the Palestinian resistance.)

Of all the wars which American taxpayers are currently financing, the Israeli campaign of collective punishment in Gaza has the highest civilian death toll.

This is the one war which is most offensive to the antiwar sensibilities of the upper Midwest. 100% of Democratic primary voters under the age of 30 in Wisconsin voted “Uncommitted”, as did 18.8% of all voters in Minnesota, 13.2% in Michigan, and 12.73% in North Carolina.

Palestinian-Americans have signaled a readiness to be one-issue voters this year. There are many Christian Arabs, and Muslims, and antiwar progressives, and Midwestern moderates, who have clearly signaled that they will follow the lead of the Palestinian-Americans.

Trump, Kennedy, Gabbard, Vivek and Vance have taken a noble stance to avoid WW3 and end the regime of censorship, surveillance and harassment, but they need more supporters to actually win.

To get the supporters they need, they will need to travel further down the path of antiwar, America First nationalism.

End all military foreign aid, economic sanctions, hostile occupations, and offensive military activity – and suspend weapons sales to states engaged in sadistic collective punishment.

  2. “RFK Jr. endorses Trumpstein”

    IOTW, Izrahell-Firster endorses Izrahell-Firster….

    such surprise….

likely won’t do Trumpstein much good though. Looking at all current aggregate state polls (@ http://realclearpolitics.com )+ likely demonrat vote-harvesting and mail-in vote rackets, Trumpstein is going to lose in a Kamalslide.

  7. I feel for the poor Palestinians, I really do. But if Trump could end only one war, it needs to be the war on Russia. Besides them possessing enough nukes to wipe out Europe and the US, they are like us – like the majority of Heritage America. It is to the eternal shame of America that Russians have been branded as monsters (because communism) – when they are more civilized than we are. It’s Biden/Harris who are the monsters, not Vlad Putin.

I feel for the poor Palestinians, I really do. But if Trump could end only one war, it needs to be the war on Russia.

    False dilemma.

    The real choice is this:

Run on a clear, consistent America First platform and win the election by promising to end both wars.

Run as an Israel first, America second candidate and lose the election – and thus fail to end either war.

  9. @follyofwar

Agree that Putin and Russians are not the monsters in this conflict.

I’d add, though, that Russians are more often non-religious than anything else. Almost nobody attends those beautiful new cathedrals that Putin has had built over the past two decades. Definitely NOT a criticism, just an observation.

There are more observant mosque-attending citizens and permanent residents of the Russian Federation than they are observant churchgoing christian citizens and permanent residents of the RF.

It is the Palestinian majority who are probably more like heritage traditional Americans in their moral values, beliefs, customs, daily prayer, family structure, male and female roles, and priorities (though perhaps a bit more solicitous of women’s rights and dignity than the bible of old christian America).

  10. I’m not a US citizen so can observe the presidential election circus with amused detachment, however, I suspect that Mr Kennedy has destroyed any and all chances he had of some day becoming president.

I pity thinking Usonians who must choose, once every four years, between two criminal buffoons to elect a holder of the highest office in their land. Was JFK the last capable US president?

Yes, in my opinion, he was!

RFK JR. DEFINITELY RUINED ALL HIS CHANCES, UNLESS THERE IS TIE AT 269 FOR BOTH OLIGARHCY CANDIDATES (TRUMP/HARRIS).

IT’S A TECHNICALITY BUT, IF RULES ARE APPLIED HE COULD WIN, AND SINCE IN THE USA BANAN REPBLIC ELECTIONS ARE EITHER BOUGHT (BY DONORS AND MEDIA) OR RIGGED (2020), WHY NOT HAVING A WIN FROM THE UNDERDOG THROUGH A CONSTITUTIONAL TECHNICALITY?

TRUMP AND HARRIS ARE TWO FACES OF THE SAME ZIONIST COIN, AND THAT IS A FACT.

KENNEDY MISSED THE BIG CHANCE HE HAD BY SUPPORTING THE ROGUE GENOCIDAL STATE OF ‘ISRAEL’ AND KEEPING SILENT ON THE CURRENT GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE.

HE PREFERED TO SUSPEND HIS CAMPAIGN AND ENDORSE A ZIONIST PUPPET. THAT WIL BRING HIM AND TRUMP NO GOOD.

    LOOK AT THIS ARTICLE BELOW:

What Are You Voting For: Genocide Or Genocide Light?
    english.almayadeen.net/articles/analysis/what-are-you-voting-for–genocide-or-genocide-light

The US political system is most emphatically not run by the public and voters have little choice over which policies will be implemented

the difference between Trump and Harris is very minimal

As Aaron Bushnell stated before his self-immolation in February:

“Many of us like to ask ourselves, “What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide?” The answer is, you’re doing it. Right now.”

At the end of the day, if you are a victim of genocide, you won’t really care whether the person enabling it is White or Black, or whether they use softer or harder language to justify the slaughter of your loved ones. Just as the people of Iraq didn’t care that America’s Secretary of State was Black when the Bush Jr. administration invaded their country, no oppressed people feel better about being bombed with munitions sent by a Black woman opposed to a White man. When a mother holds the headless body of her toddler, screaming in pain and disbelief, she doesn’t pause to consider whether the bomb that killed her child came from Donald Trump or someone else.

Trump, Kennedy, Gabbard, Vivek and Vance have taken a noble stance to avoid WW3 and end the regime of censorship, surveillance and harassment, but they need more supporters to actually win.

They mostly oppose helping Ukraine, which is a more Christian country than Russia is (especially Ukraine’s now-politically dominant western regions), but all of them support aggressively licking Israel’s ass and backing Israel up to the hilt.

  14. 36 ulster says:
    @RadicalCenter

Give the Russians time. They may not be motivated by religious fervor at this time, but decades of official atheism and the demonizing of religion (even the Moslems of Central Asia were discouraged from worship by Party toadies) have left the Russians metaphorically hung over. The urbanites, where the grandest cathedrals are located, might be a harder sell. In my case, I’ve become interested in Orthodox services here in the Midwest. Our pastor and his associate are fine people, but our affluent suburban church is full of folks who are slovenly in more ways than one–and at this stage of my life, I can use a bit of solemnity. FFS, you’re more likely to find better-attired folks at the beach–or at a Trump rally. At any rate, I wish the Russians well on their spiritual journey.
