Not to be confused with Mori Kibbutz from The Ballad of Gay Tony.
Mori Green (Hebrew: מורי גרין) is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
He is voiced by Ed Rubeo.
History[]
Background[]
Green was born in Broker, Liberty City, in 1955. At some point in his life he joined the Jewish Mob together with friend and partner Isaac Roth.
He was arrested in 2000 for a Clean Diamond Act violation, along with Roth.
Events of Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City[]
The Diamond Deal[]
Green was present at the diamond deal with Isaac at the Libertonian Museum. He was killed when the deal was ruined by Luis Fernando Lopez, who shot Mori in the back. According to Isaac, it was Mori's idea to buy the diamonds, because of the rising importance of diamond smuggling. Isaac shows genuine sorrow when Mori is killed, including running up to his body to check if he is okay, before running away to avoid being shot.

Trivia[]
- If the player checks Mori's body after he is killed in both GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City, his body is replaced by a different corpse, one of a fat bearded man, due to Mori Green being a cutscene-only character model.
- Since Isaac Roth could be named after Hyman Roth of The Godfather, it is possible that Mori was named after Moe Greene.
