Overview

The Bestiary is a detailed in-game logbook that records all the different types of catching fisch and items fischers caught throughout their adventure. It helps track the player's progress by cataloging various species found across the game’s many different islands, with some fish having multiple variations. Completing a significant portion of the bestiary (70%) unlocks the Destiny Rod that can be bought at The Arch for C$190,000. The bestiary encourages exploration and mastery of the fishing mechanics by rewarding thoroughness and dedication. All fish also may have Mutations which increase the price and change the appearance of the fish. As of update 1.13.0, there are a total of 326 in-game items that the player could receive or catch.
