Kelsey began the game as a large target for many houseguests, being targeted by Loveita Adams in the first week due to her showmance with Jared Kesler. Luckily for Kelsey, the votes flipped and she managed to remain in the house. During this time, Kelsey became the leader of the Third Wheel alliance with Jared and Raul Manriquez. After Joel Lefevre won Head of Household in week four, he targeted Kelsey for her strong relationships with her other houseguests and being the leader of the Third Wheel alliance. Kelsey remained on the block come eviction night and was evicted by a vote of 8-2, however, it was a fake eviction and Kelsey entered the Secret Suite. Later, Kelsey was joined in the secret suite by Loveita. Kelsey and Loveita used the week in the secret suite to talk game and reveal information, together they figured out that Mitchell Moffit was running the game. After Kelsey was voted back into the house by her houseguests, Kelsey set her target on Mitch and convinced Raul to target him using his power as HOH. Kelsey was successful in her goal as Mitch was evicted later that week. After longtime rival, Maddy Pavle, won HOH, Kelsey was targeted by her and placed on the block alongside Jared and later Raul. Despite remaining on the block come eviction night, Kelsey stayed in the house as Raul was evicted for being a seemingly bigger threat. After Cassandra Shahinfar became HOH in week nine, Cassandra set her sights on targeting one of Kelsey’s last remaining allies, Jared and Nick & Phil Paquette. After Nick & Phil won the Power of Veto, Kelsey made the tough, but strategic choice in voting to evict Jared with the rest of the house. After this, Kelsey and Nick & Phil managed to win HOH for 3 consecutive weeks in a row, landing them in the final three. After Kelsey won the final HOH competition, she chose to stay loyal to Nick & Phil and evict Tim Dormer. Ultimately, Kelsey needing to return to the house after being previous evicted lost her major win equity and caused her to lose to Nick & Phil in a 7-2 vote, thus crowning Kelsey the runner-up.
Kelsey is the only female competitor in Big Brother Canada history, to return to the house after being evicted and to make it to the the final two.
The only other houseguest to return and make it to the final two was Gary Levy from season one. Coincidentally, both ended up become the runners-up of their season.
