Big Brother Canada 11 is the eleventh season of Big Brother Canada.

Background

On June 8, 2022, at the Corus Upfront, Global TV announced that Big Brother Canada was given the green light to produce its eleventh season in 2023.

On February 23, 2023, Corus announced that Big Brother Canada 24/7 Live Feeds would not be returning for season 11, and would instead be replaced with Digital Dailies, described as "uncut content from inside the BBCAN house, offering viewers an extended peek into the houseguests’ lives. "

Airing Schedule

On February 6, 2023, Corus announced that Big Brother Canada would have a new weekly airing schedule. Head of Household competitions would air on Tuesdays and Evictions on Thursdays, both at 7 PM EST, while Power of Veto competitions would air on Wednesdays at 9 PM EST.

Twists

The Menu showcases the way houseguests can Wendy's Rewards Points throughout the season.

• Extended First Week: For the first time in Big Brother Canada, Week 1 would last for two real life weeks, meaning that the first scheduled vote and eviction would be on Day 13 as opposed to Day 6 like the prior seasons.
• Dead Last Nominee: For the first Head of Household competition, the houseguest who comes in last place will automatically be nominated for eviction as a result. The HOH will then make their usual two nominations from the remaining eligible houseguests for a total of three nominees for the entire week. When it comes to picking the POV players, the HOH will continue to sit out but their two nominees will be the ones who draw for the last two spots and the Dead Last Nominee will not. Any nominee, including the Dead Last Nominee, is allowed to be taken off the block by the Power of Veto. If the Dead Last Nominee is taken off the block, the HOH will name their replacement nominee. The normal rules for eviction rules will apply: all eligible houseguests will vote to evict, and the HOH will only vote in the event of a tie. This twist only lasted for the first week of the game.
  • First HOH & Nomination Twist: The first Head of Household competition would be done in pairs. The team to finish in first place will advance to face off against each other in Part 2 for the title of HOH. Meanwhile, the pair that comes in last will also face off in Part 2 to avoid being the first nominee of the season.
• BelAirDirect Eviction Protection Insurance: A houseguest would be granted sponsored immunity through a part of a competition or an online public vote.
• Wendy's Rewards Points: Throughout the season, houseguests will be able to accumulate Wendy's Rewards points through various means. Upon eviction, they must bequeath any remaining points they have to player still in the game. However, if a houseguest walks from the game or is expelled, their points are completely voided instead. In addition to the set menu for earning points, houseguests can earn extra by performing tasks and taking temptations in competitions. The twist culminated with an auction during Week 8, with the following prizes up for grabs:
  • Auction Items: $1,000, a Wendy's meal, a video from home, $3,000, a 1 minute plea to the jury, a phone call from home, and a strategy session with Season 9 winner Tychon Carter-Newman.
• Whodunnit Week: During Week 4, the Invisible HOH twist from Season 9 returned, and this time the POV competition results were also kept anonymous as well.
• The Fatal Feast: Within the library room of the house, most of the books are blank, but a few contained clues to something greater. Eventually, in Week 6, the twist was activated and the houseguests were prompted to start searching all of the books. Eventually, it was discovered that they were all invited to a feast. This Fatal Feast kicked off another Chain of Safety Double Eviction, returning from Season 10. The current HOH would start the chain and it would continue until only three players remained. Those three players would compete for safety and the two who lost would be the final nominees, immediately facing eviction. Following that eviction, the next HOH competition immediately began and the rest of the week proceeded as normal.
