Joel played a very under the radar game throughout his stay in the house. Relying on his strong social skills to help him throughout the game. Joel quickly aligned with Cassandra Shahinfar and Loveita Adams forming alliances with both of them. For the first few weeks, Joel continued to lay low, helping save his allies Loveita and Cassandra when they were nominated. After Joel and Mitchell Moffit won the HOH competition, they staged a fake contest where they allowed Joel to win HOH. Joel sought out to break up the Third Wheel alliance that was running the house. He did that by targeting their core member Kelsey Faith. Joel was successful as Kelsey was evicted that week. However, after a surprise Double Eviction was announced, Joel was thrown in for a loop. After, Maddy Pavle backdoored and evicted Loveita, one of Joel’s closest allies. During week 6, Joel was able to stay safe, however his ally Dallas Cormier was evicted. After, Kelsey returned to the house, Raul Manriquez won HOH. Joel started to grow paranoid as he had evicted Kelsey and nominated Raul. Joel was nominated for eviction, ultimately he survived, but at the cost of his ally Mitch. Having his previous allies evicted, Joel aligned with The Threekshow and Nikki Grahame. This alliance would continue to dominate the middle portion of the game. Although, Joel was left in a swing vote position multiple times. The alliance’s downfall came when Kelsey won HOH at the final five. Originally, Kelsey targeted Cassandra and Tim Dormer members of Joel’s alliance for eviction. However, The Threekshow came up with a plan to get Joel to win the POV to force Kelsey to nominate Nick & Phil Paquette. However, after Tim thought that Joel was being sketchy, Tim abandoned the plan and won the POV. After, Joel was nominated as a replacement nominee, Cassandra and Tim were able to convince Kelsey and Nick & Phil that Joel was a bigger threat. Ultimately, Joel was evicted by a vote of 2-0, placing 5th and becoming the 6th member of the jury.
