Raul began the game closely aligned with Kelsey Faith and Jared Kesler, creating the Third Wheel alliance. Raul, and the rest of the third wheel remained in power for the first three weeks, taking out members of their opposition. After Joel Lefevre won Head of Household, he targeted the trio, and he nominated Kelsey and Raul alongside each other, although Kelsey was the primary target. Raul was able to stay in the house, and Kelsey was evicted by a vote of 8-2. After Kelsey’s eviction, Raul began to grow close to Mitchell Moffit, and they formed an alliance together. After Kelsey later returned to the house due to it being revealed to be a fake Double Eviction, Raul won Head of Household. After Kelsey revealed information she gained from Loveita in the Secret Suite about Mitch, Raul decided to target Mitch. Despite Mitch’s campaigns, Raul and Kelsey stood firm in targeting Mitch and were successful by the end of the week as Mitch was evicted. After Maddy Pavle won Head of Household, she targeted the trio and nominated Kelsey and Jared alongside each other. After Raul infamously threw the veto to Jared, Raul was named the replacement nominee and was later evicted by a vote of 6-1, placing 10th, and becoming the 2nd member of the jury.
In addition, he was the first male to survive eviction on Big Brother Canada 4.
Raul is the first Canadian houseguest to survive both parts of a Double Eviction while being nominated. He would later be followed by Dillon Carman, Merron Haile and Kyra Shenker.
Raul and Nikki Grahame are the only houseguests on Big Brother Canada 4 to be nominated during both parts of a Double Eviction.
Raul is the first houseguest to go from HOH to being on the block next week and getting evicted within the same week.
