Julia was a camper and one of the two main antagonists of Total Drama Island (2023) as a member of the Frogs of Death. She returned as the sole main antagonist of Total Drama Island (2024) as a member of Team Skunk Butt and was one of the two runner-ups of the season.
Personality[]
At first glance, Julia is a serene, friendly and charming modern social media influencer. She exhibits excellent composure even in life-or-death situations, embodying the traits of a typical new-age hippie or a granola girl. Like most content creators, Julia is also a technology addict, going to great lengths just to ensure that she always has at least one phone on her and owning multiple phones as backups.
Deep down however, Julia conceals a hidden nature that is marked by rudeness, proving herself to be backstabbing, selfish, vicious, short-tempered and attention-seeking. In the beginning, there were occasional glimpses of Julia's true self, such as acting passive-aggressively, but everything would change once MK exposes her. She expresses distress at first as she loses most of her social media followers, but ultimately makes the decision to embrace her authentic self, especially after she discovers that her true self also gains her several million followers who like her for who she is. Though not homicidal like Scary Girl, Julia shows no qualms if her fellow contestants get gravely injured, as seen in Caved by the Bell. Aware of the looming threat of elimination, Julia is determined to win invincibility with every chance she gets, a goal she usually accomplishes with success. While it may not look like it, Julia is also stronger than she looks and is willing to endure pain if it means gaining an advantage in the competition. In the next season, her ruthlessness had gained her an unexpected friend, whom she developed a soft spot for, something that hasn't happened with any of the other contestants. She's also shown to be much more competitive and merciless, going as far as putting other contestants' lives in danger even more so she can advance in the game.
Total Drama Island (2023)[]
Julia explains why she'd be good on the show in her audition.
Julia is introduced as the last camper out of the lot. She appears to be relatively calm and relaxed. In her audition, there are many shots of her swimming, exploring, adventuring, meditating and having a genuine interest for the world around her. She reveals she is an influencer, a Mandy Belleville Brand Ambassador and a proud citizen of Mother Earth. After being introduced, she takes a selfie with Chris. He complains and states that the legal contract clearly stated that there would be no phones allowed on the show. Julia tackles back, saying that she can't grow as a person if her followers don't know she's growing as a person. Julia is later seen in the cabins slowly putting flowers up, and says flowers make her soul happy and are much more aesthetic. During this time, MK takes her phone. Julia does not do much in the first challenge, however when Chris makes a joke about the mud puddles being deep unlike Julia's social media posts, Julia is not amused. Later in the ceremony, Julia receives a marshmallow.
In Pirates of the Cabbagean, Wayne as team captain makes Nichelle and Julia a pair. Julia says about how Wayne put the two famous people on the team together, which leaves Nichelle confused. She helps with loading the cabbages into the cannon and firing it, and she does this pretty well. When Nichelle is prepared to end it, Julia interrupts her by taking a selfie and enjoying the 'yacht life' .
Julia believes she shouldn't reveal when she is scared as it is important what other people think of you.
In Drown Town Abbey, Julia gets selected to go into the glass booth. She tells the team that she is with them in spirit, and tells Emma she is brave in the way she does not care about her looks. Julia then asks Chris if the booth is a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which he ignores and tells her and Damien to get in. When Damien appears to be freaking out, Julia tells him to stay calm by using pranayama breathing. During the challenge, Julia consistently tells her teammates that she appreciates their efforts. MK shows no care, whilst Emma finds Julia to be acting freaky calm. Julia says in the confessional that it is okay to be scared but you must never show it since nothing is more important than what other people think of you. She says that the Daily Llama said that. After Nichelle reveals that she doesn't do her own stunts, Julia tries to manifest her "warrior goddess" energy into Nichelle. Unfortunately, the team loses and at the elimination ceremony, Chef told Julia that she's on the chopping block for what she did. He said nobody knew what she meant by "warrior goddess" but it clearly didn't work. Julia was at a loss of words hearing this, but luckily, Nichelle was voted off instead.

In Numbskull Island, Julia is on the defense with Emma, which she does not seem to care about as she quickly types on her phone. Julia later is supposed to be getting ready but she says she is busy, as she reveals she is talking to people on her phone. Later, we see Julia holding the hose after spraying at Millie and Priya. She says in the confessional that their pores were gross and she was doing them a favour. Bowie and Raj return, and their hair is sticking up as they look visually frightened. Julia questions what happened to them, and they explain. They both tag out and decide to stay for defense, Emma goes forward. When Ripper begins carrying Priya towards the skull, Julia releases the boulders towards them which only leaves an impact on Priya. After winning the challenge, Julia celebrates with a selfie with the rest of her team, MK comes along and the whole team believe she didn't help remotely.

In Jurassic Fart, Julia was about to eat the baked beans served as breakfast, she describes that she must be thankful for every meal. Wayne and Raj join her on the table, and begin having a conversation. She told them it's what on the inside that matters after Wayne compliments her appearance, but they turn it into a joke about their poop, leaving her disgusted and not eating. It turns out the beans make everyone who ate them fart, which is a hurdle as the challenge is to get across the island with raptors on the loose.

During the challenge, Julia sticks with Wayne and Raj, and they come up with a game strategy, however she does not understand their hockey style conversation and is too busy texting. A raptor begins to chase them, and Julia gets separated from the Hockey Bros. Later, she comes across one and it roars right in her face. Having enough with acting nice, she viciously insults the raptor's poor hygiene, its appearance, and made fun of it for going extinct because of it. This is enough to make the raptor leave in tears. Bowie overheard what she said, leaving her to beg him not to tell, which he agrees to. While looking into her account, she notices the video of her roasting the raptor and losing her followers.

In Launch Back of Notre Game, Julia has a confessional talking about how she lost 300,000 followers. However she is relieved, since she believes it is hard to like yoga, emojis and avocado toast. She believes she is finally free, and can now show the world The Real Julia. She bursts into the mess hall with loud thuds, which makes Emma assume the dinosaurs are back. Julia comes in and after being mocked by Bowie, she grabs his Burrito and slaps him with it, she then chucks one at Ripper as he tries to stand up for him. Julia demands someone to admit to posting the video, however nobody comes forward, so Julia declares that she will solve this mystery herself. On the way to the challenge, MK suggests that Julia took Wayne and Raj's lucky beards. She says she's allergic to things which stick to bodies, and MK accuses her of lying again. Julia says she is missing a necklace and a phone so the thief is not her. Julia then insults Emma's hair, and says she is so happy to be her real self since she's been dying to insult Emma all week.

During the challenge, Julia has decided she is taking charge for her team and operating the catapult. She demands they hurry up as she needs to start launching them. Emma goes first and Julia asks if she's ready to be launched and describes her as 'bedhead'. After Emma begins flying, Julia covers her ears at the sound of her screams. After Wayne & Raj claim that they did it, she corrects them saying that SHE did it. She then proceeds to launch Wayne and afterwards Raj. Since Raj went too far, Julia kicks the ground in frustration. MK says someone else should have a go operating the catapult but Julia tells her to back off. Julia and the rest are later grossed out when Raj lands in tapioca pudding. Bowie then gets in the canon, and says to put him in the pudding, Julia says she's going to aim him at the points. Julia covers her ears after Chase screams and faints in terror. She then is shocked when Chris reveals there are sharks in the tapioca pudding. After the introduction of the 10,000 point zone, Julia launches herself despite the whole team being against the idea. Whilst Julia is concentrated on flying, Zee begins talking to Julia but she is trying to focus. After a bit of time, they both begin falling down and have to dump weight. Julia begins chucking her phones away, however it isn't enough. she falls and crashes into loads of trees. Julia's team had lost.
Julia discovers MK's secret.
After the challenge, MK and Julia argue about who caused the loss. MK is blaming Julia since they had kept doing what they were doing, they'd have finished before Zee landed. Julia then points out that MK didn't fly, making her not a team player. MK calls Julia "moo-low" which is a word she made up, she says that the world is killing her. MK then declares that it is time to vote Julia off and that she is a butt knuckle. Julia realizes butt knuckle is her word and that she has only said it in the confessional so she realizes that MK must have been watching their confessionals. She creeps into the cabin again and searches MK's bunk, underneath she finds a bunch of stolen items from herself and her teammates.
Julia gets her final revenge on MK.
Julia runs late to the ceremony with a bag slung over her shoulder, she accuses MK of stealing and shows all the things she founds and plays one of Priya's confessionals. Bowie grabs Julia's phone, and chucks it in the ocean so everyone's secrets are safe. MK says she's never seen any of this stuff, but Julia still has some fight in her. MK says that it was her phone so it was likely she recorded it, but Julia responds by saying that MK has seen all of them pooping. This convinces the team to vote her out. Julia receives the final marshmallow and MK was eliminated. She got the final laugh and won in the end. Julia pretends that feel sorry for her, before revealing that she didn't care at all.
In Severe Eggs and Pains, Julia is putting on lipstick before being startled by the horn and making it go all over her face. When Chris announces the teams have merged, Julia comes up with a cunning plan to make sure she isn't eliminated. She talks to Ripper, saying that they were both hated by their teams and that they should agree to vote out Chase. He agrees, and Julia partners up with Chase for the challenge. Julia expresses to Chase that they are both similar, as they both are influencers, she says that they will get to the final 2 together and Julia will help Chase win Emma back, he agrees.
Julia believes she will be eliminated.
The two find Bowie and Emma, and Emma asks to talk to Bowie privately. Julia tells Bowie that she's seen two eggs, and she says she'll ditch Chase if he agrees to vote with her against Chase at tonight's ceremony. Bowie agrees and the two leave Emma and Chase alone. Julia is convinced that leaving Chase with Emma will surely leave her so mad she will convince someone else to also vote for Chase. In the process, she uses 5 fingers... Julia and Bowie later race for immunity. When Chase and Emma return, they both appear to be in love. Julia realises she will be going home as her plans have messed up. Chef later says at the elimination that Julia vulnerable for pushing Bowie to the ground, she explains she wanted to win and that you shouldn't hate the player, instead the game. However, she doesn't care if you hate the player. Julia is happy after Chris announces the rest are safe since Chef noticed that Wayne and Raj are too injured to continue.
Julia happily enters the main lodge after getting more followers.
In The Wheel of Vomit, Julia is very happy to see she has more followers than she has ever had before, with over 2,000,000. However her loud notifications bother Emma and Bowie, so Emma chucks a pillow at her. When Julia enters the mess hall, she greets everyone calling them buttknuckles. Bowie tries to put her in her place, but she shoves him out of the way leaving him with gum in his hair, she then shoves Emma into Chase and gives Ripper and Zee a wedgie. She explains in the confessional that she'll just win immunity so that they can't vote her out. Throughout the challenge she ate every disgusting "food" item, with the main competition being Zee, who will eat just about anything. She tries grossing him out by telling him gross stories, but he thinks she is just having a friendly conversation with him. She tries making him sneeze, but he catches his food in time. When they have cookies with milk, See asks where milk comes from. Julia tells him milk comes from cows, much to Zee's concern. Noticing this, she describes the process of obtaining milk in such a gross manner, he runs out through the wall just to get away from his glass, thus disqualifying him.

In Paddle Field Earth, Julia, not wanting to work with Bowie, tries to convince Millie and Priya into joining her alliance. Millie is hesitant, but Priya agrees since Julia's determined and they could always vote her off if their alliance is targeted. Afterwards, the three girls hide in a bush and try to get Zee to join them, since he's not smart enough to realize he's being used. During the challenge, Julia gets beaten up by a crocodile and badly injured by the bees of Honey Mountain. When Bowie knocks her to the ground, he taunts her by saying that 95% of her followers are bots. This makes Julia so furious, she throws Bowie into the mountain and wins immunity. At the Campfire Ceremony, Julia is glad to hear that Bowie is at risk for what he said, she is confident that her four-person alliance would send him home. However, Zee revealed that he joined both alliances together to vote Chris off. Dumbfounded by this foolish plan, Julia joined everyone else in voting Zee off a revote.
Julia believes she is definitely winning the challenge.
In The Truth, The Pole Truth and Nothing But the Truth, Chase wanted to switch poles with Julia to get closer to Emma, but she refused. She also admits that she would ear the burgers that Chris was tempting them with despite normally avoid carbs. After she boasted about her yoga training, she was glad that Bowie lost the challenge after sneezing, unaware that it was on purpose to get her phone that MK used. After 12 hours, Julia gets mosquito bites and is appalled by Chase's actions towards Emma.
Julia manages to take a selfie with a raptor she had trash talked in the past.
In Tortoise Rigamortis, Julia's background as an influencer comes in handy for the challenge, as contestants are required to take selfies with the wildlife of Camp Wawanakwa. As a result, she manages to perform well. At one point, she approaches a raptor she had insulted several episodes ago. However, she manages to divert its attention with a selfie before running away. In the end, she's forced to fight with Emma over taking a deciding selfie with a tortoise, with the animal joining their fight. Although Emma accidentally sends it flying, Julia manages to take a picture with the tortoise as it was falling, winning her third immunity of the season. At the elimination ceremony, she mourns over the animal in order to make others vote for Emma for killing it.
In the end, Bowie double-crossed Julia, causing her elimination.
In Caved by the Bell, Bowie offers to work with her, which Julia reluctantly accepts, realizing she has no other way against Millie and Priya. In reality, Bowie plays both sides and tries to hinder her throughout the challenge. In spite of his attempts, Julia manages to collect the most coins, celebrating her yet another victory early by making several online purchases. However, The Nerds' alliance comes back with the most coins that they had found inside the cave monster's mouth, thus voiding Julia's supposed victory. While distraught at first, she's still certain she can win against Millie in a tie-breaker. However, it turns out that Bowie also voted for Julia, making her furious that she was betrayed by him and devastated she has to cancel her online orders.
Julia is selected as Bowie's helper.
Julia returns alongside the other eliminated contestants in the finale, where she's ironically selected as Bowie's helper. While reluctant at first, she agrees to help him, but only if he signs a legal contract binding him to share the money prize with her if he wins. After she keeps increasing her potential part of money, Bowie has enough of her and shreds the contract, preferring to work alone. Once it seems like he's going to win, Julia asks Axel for something to fix the contract with. She's later seen cheering for Priya when she wins in her ending, and dancing with everyone else (sans Axel) to celebrate the announcement of the cast's second season.
Total Drama Island (2024)[]
Julia sacrifices herself by eliminating an about-to-win Emma to prove her worth to her team.
In The Pink Painter Strikes Again, Julia returns on the island with the other contestants, while she is getting dropped from the helicopter. After getting out of the water, she is starting to complain and calling Chris a maniac. After all, Julia is coming with the other campers to meet at the platforms so they can pick teams. Julia got selected to Bowie's team as she joined Team Skunk Butt, after this she is doing her confessional that she is giving him a credit, and picking her was a smart choice from his side, she is saying that she will get her revenge on Bowie for eliminated her from last season. She forms an alliance with MK as the pair have an appreciation for the latter's gameplay and style. When the challenge has started she is in belief that Axe Hatchet can't throw that far, but after Millie's elimination in that challenge, she is changing her mind. After this whole time playing this game, she is down to final 4. She understood, that Bowie only picked her so he and Hockey Bros will vote her off the island. Julia decides to eliminate Emma, costing herself a challenge so she can make her team think she is worth keeping in the game. Unfortunately, after Nichelle's getting first to the finish line before Bowie, Julia's team lost a challenge.
MK and Julia believe that the Skunk Butts' luck has changed.
In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, Julia anticipates Ripper's interactions with Axel ending badly, and confesses with MK that the show would need a disclaimer for episodes if the two got together. During the challenge, Julia whispers to Bowie upset he didn't pick Nichelle as now they are stuck with Ripper. Julia goes first in the challenge to continue proving her worth, she slides for 2 points and misses. Julia gets increasingly mad at Chase over the course of the challenge as he does not slide, she also complains when Zee breaks the order, but Chris claims he never specified they had to stick to an order. Later, Ripper requests to Julia to get Axel's attention but not being obvious, however she is very obvious. Julia intends on unclogging the toilet painfully, however only ends up stuck herself. MK and Julia are frustrated by their team continuing to lose, so MK has a plan. She steals the intern uniform.
In You Poor Saps, MK gains intel what the challenge. It is that the campers are sprayed with tree sap and must make it to the other side of the island and the team with the most members win. MK got a box full of de-sap spray in order to cheat. She, MK, and Bowie are in favor for cheating, but Raj and Wayne are against. After the hockey bros get stuck with one another, MK sprays them to untangle them. Bowie says he doesn't want to upset Raj by cheating so they need to stop, however, MK and Julia do not care. The team then separates, and MK and Julia decide to sabotage the other team. They first dump trash onto Zee. They then realize chickens at Caleb, Priya, and Emma, covering the latter in feathers. Then they push a log onto Caleb, making him get stuck. Team Skunk Butt then cover themselves up with sap so pretend they were not cheating. When Chris asks how they managed not to get stuck with anything, Julia responds saying they played to their teams strengths.
In Choosin' for a Bruisin', MK comes make in her intern costume to Team Skunk Butt from a production meeting. She says there was no talk off the challenge, much the Hockey Bros' joy, which means no cheating. MK suggests to get the answer wrong in order to find the right answer, which Julia supports. When MK disappears, Chris questions where she went, and Julia said she had explosive diarrhea, grossing Chris out. They use "hot signal" in which odd number of shout means A and even number of shouts mean B. Thanks to this idea, Team Skunk Butt won.
In Ice to Beat You, Bowie tells Julia he is done cheating, but she says that they still have to in order to win. Julia suggests Bowie doesn't tell Raj about cheating, which he disagrees. When MK comes with information with about the challenge, Julia walks in the cabin with her. Nichelle and Damien enter saying they will beat them in the challenge. Julia says she bets Nichelle wishes she didn't tank so badly last season that she destroyed her career in Hollywood, Nichelle says she doesn't miss that life at all, Julia says she should audition in a movie in which Nichelle responds saying she is more of a small-town movie theater actor, angering Julia. The challenge starts, and Team Skunk Butt choose to go through the maze. MK gives the Hockey Bros stakes to distract them. MK reveals t hat she got a hairdryer from Chris's trailer. The team melts the ice maze and reach the safe, they melt through it to get the key. MK and Julia come up with the idea to steal the other team's key, upsetting the Hockey Bros. Bowie takes their side, leading to a snowball fight between Bowie and the Hockey Bros between MK, Julia, and Ripper. The hairdryer was left unattended, melting the ice on the floor, causing the team to fall. A yeti then chases the team and they ride a bobsled to the end, winning them the challenge. At elimination, Nichelle quits the game finding a contract from Hollywood. Julia reveals that she made the contract as revenge for her earlier statement.
In following episode, Chris announces the merge. Julia is forced to team up with Wayne, to her annoyance. The fighting part of the challenge, Julia takes out Wayne, but the next round gets eliminated by Damien. In a confessional, Julia reveals that she told Team Rat Face that it was Bowie's idea to cheat, causing him to be eliminated, thus finally getting her revenge on Bowie.
In Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Julia is placed in a team with Raj and Wayne. Throughout the challenge, she is annoyed by them and tells them to collect the ingredients. They win immunity for making the best cake after the other team included a disgusting ingredient.
In Haulin' n' Ballin', Julia wrote notes to everyone saying that she knows that they have the idol, scaring Damien. MK and Julia try to make Zee spill his secret. At the end of the challenge, Julia convinces Zee to reveal the secret, upsetting Priya and turning everyone against Caleb.
In Breaking Up is Hard to Do, Julia and MK do not care about Priya's feelings. Damien tries to explain using emojis, with the Hockey Bros laughing. MK and Julia try to convince Caleb to join their alliance, which he refuses. Julia cuts down a tree for the biggest object she could find, almost crushing Caleb. Julia manages to quickly cut down the tree into small pieces. In the end of the challenge, her, Priya, and Caleb are about to finish; however, a squirrel attacks her, making her lose the chance of immunity. In the evening, both Julia and MK know that one of them will go home. MK goes around lying to everyone that Julia does bad things. At elimination, they are the bottom two. Julia receives the final marshmallow, surprising MK. At the Dock of Shame, Julia reveals that she told everyone that they had a pact to not reveal anyone of their secrets, causing everyone to be voted off. MK tells Julia to win the money, then hug.
In Circling the Drain, Julia individually gives bad advice to Priya and Caleb. She tells them that they should ignore each other and that they don't need each other, and they will come back eventually. Julia and Damien get into fights throughout the memory challenge because she believes that he is copying her. Julia sabotages Damien by knocking down the tablet, making him choose the wrong answer and getting carried away by bees. Eventually, Caleb talks to Priya, saying that he truly cares for her, making them on the same page again. Chris announces that the winner gets to share immunity with one another person. Caleb and Priya team up against Julia, and Priya attacks her and knocks down her tablet. However, she accidentally swaps their tablets, and she makes Julia win the challenge. At the ceremony, it is revealed that Julia shared immunity with Caleb in exchange for his vote. The news causes Priya to get mad at them. Damien gets eliminated but attempts to pull out the idol; instead, he pulls out a plunger. He knows that it got stolen and tries to run away, but the Drone of Despair carries him away.
In Working K9 to 5, Caleb reveals to Priya that he is working with Julia to protect her. Priya allows their alliance a second chance. The challenge involves police dogs chasing the campers. After two strikes, Julia jumps in a dumpster to mask her scent. Julia goes in a cave and meets the raptor she insulted raptor last season, and it roars at her. The dog comes up behind her at the same time the other dog drags Priya. Julia uses her fake nails to drag against the ground, winning immunity.
The next episode starts with Julia in hockey gear trying to win over Wayne's trust in case her alliance with Caleb fails. Priya tells Caleb that he should double-cross her, with which he disagrees; however, he says he will try. At the challenge, Caleb works with Julia at first, hooking Priya, while she hooks Wayne, confusing him. Priya comes out of her fear tank, and they duel. Eventually, Julia gets hooked by and gets hooked and dropped onto her tank. She lands on marmalade, and old people appear. Julia freaks out, saying that she will be young and beautiful forever. She escapes the tank and tries to convince Caleb to hook Priya while Priya does the opposite. Instead, he hooks them both, winning immunity. At elimination, she is in the bottom two with Priya. Priya gets the final marshmallow. As she is gloating, Julia reveals the immunity idol that she stole from Damien, which means that the only vote that mattered was Julia's, eliminating Priya.
Julia becomes a finalist along with Caleb and Wayne in Soar Losers. Caleb says that she will pay for what she did to Priya. Julia believes he and Wayne do not stand a chance against her. Chris brings back every past contestant to choose a side. Julia's sole supporter is MK. Julia has an early lead in the first part of the race as she only has to pull MK in the cart. She reaches the second part first and walks the tightrope, but gets knocked down into the water by Scary Girl by a t-shirt cannon. She climbs back up and attempts to cross again, but Caleb's team tries to shoot her down. Priya hits her, making her fall again. She encounters the raptor she insulted and tries to swim away, but it grabs her and tears her hair, giving her a mullet. The contestants are grossed out, and Julia cries in a confessional with MK trying to comfort her. Even more determined, she crosses the tightrope and puts on the flying squirrel suit to do the final part of the race. She struggles to fly, but Caleb tries to help her. Julia starts fighting, and they both come crashing down. They race on foot to the finish line. Wayne is far behind, so he attempts to do a dangerous dive to catch up. As Julia and Caleb approach the dock, they both leap to the finish line when Wayne comes crashing down, making him the winner.

In a Zen garden, Julia explained that Total Drama is an amazing platform for her to share her energy and light with the world. She says that she is an influencer, a brand ambassador, and a "proud citizen of Mother Earth." The clip features various settings, such as a pool, a make-up trailer or a catwalk at a runway show.

- Not counting Axel, Nichelle, Priya, Scary Girl, and Caleb in the Opening Sequence, and all contestants in Total Drama Island: Take the Crown, Julia is one of only two contestants of the fourth generation to be shown in their swimwear, although it's only in her audition in her case. Furthermore, she's shown in two different bikinis. She is also seen wearing a third one in the aforementioned game.

- Julia initially has 3701 followers, but once her true self is revealed, she gained over three million more followers, who ironically prefer the real Julia more.
- However, her original follower amount is proven wrong when in the next episode, Julia states that she lost over 300,000 followers.
- In regard to Julia's eating habits, Terry McGurrin has stated that he bets Julia may have been vegetarian or vegan at her social media, but outside from that, she possibly ate bacon cheeseburgers when no one was around. She also says she would sacrifice half the population for a pineapple and bacon pizza.
- Julia's character bio from her promotional image claims she had over 20 million followers, even though on the show proper she's shown to have less both before and after the reveal of her true nature.
