The contestants compete in a game of "Water Slide Basketball," where they must slide down water slides of differing point values in order to accumulate a final score of 21 points. One contestant reveals their attraction to a supposedly bitter enemy while another sabotages a former lover by getting into their head. Meanwhile, a sneaky contestant makes headway on their plan to cheat alongside another villainous ally. One team is able to secure victory for themselves, but at the cost of one member being injured and another becoming a pariah. In the end, an egotistical contestant is sent home for focusing more on themselves than actually helping out their team.
Plot[]
The episode opens with Caleb working out by doing pull-ups on a tree branch while Priya watches from a distance. Millie walks over to apologize for her performance in the previous challenge, but is confused by Priya ignoring her until she realizes that it's because she's admiring Caleb.

Caleb then finishes up and walks to the girls, having a fairly coy conversation with Priya in the process.

Chef then calls the contestants over to the mess hall for breakfast, with MK wondering what will qualify for "breakfast" today. Caleb goes to shower off and asks Priya to save him a seat, which she giddily agrees to do. In the mess hall, Ripper goes to Bowie for relationship advice, asking if he should tell Axel if he's into her, which shocks Bowie. He suggests that Ripper be direct with her, saying that it worked for Raj. Both him and Wayne agree, which inspires Ripper to go up to Axel, prompting Julia to take out her phone to record the "car wreck" waiting to happen.

Ripper approaches the table when Axel asks him what he wants. Ripper struggles to get out the right words, but Axel says that she's done and slams Ripper's food onto his face before walking away. Chris announces the challenge and tells the campers to report to the cliffs. Wayne and Raj ask Ripper how it went with Axel, but all Ripper had to show for it was a sad face.
Chris and Chef introduce the next challenge, "Water Slide Basketball." Damien expresses nervousness about this challenge, but Nichelle expresses excitement and motivates her teammates by giving high-fives. This annoys Julia, who scolds Bowie for not picking Nichelle, especially since it means that they're now stuck with Ripper instead. Chris and Chef then direct their attention to three different kinds of water slides: "The Ouchie," which is worth 1 point and sends the slider right up to the basket, but causes them to hit the backboard hard; "The Trash n' Crash," which is worth 2 points and sends the contestants through a disgusting garbage dumpster before being launched towards the basket; and "The Three-Point Pooper," which is worth 3 points and will violently shoot the slider towards the hoop through a gigantic, water-squirting toilet. The contestants that manage to land in the hoop after sliding down one of these slides will earn the corresponding amount of points for their team, and the team that manages to score 21 points first will win the challenge and immunity, while the other team votes off one of their own tonight.
Emma points out a fourth slide to the side of the others, and Chris and Chef explain that that slide is called "The Death Boot," which is a slide that sends the contestant straight down into a gear shaft before being kicked towards the hoop by a gigantic boot and was meant to be worth 4 points. However, they also explain that, due to the slide causing critical damage to the interns that tested it, it is not an official part of the challenge due to being deemed too dangerous even by Total Drama standards. With the rules having now been explained, Chef and Chris give the teams five minutes to strategize before they officially start the challenge.

In an attempt to throw Chase off his game, Emma asks him if he remembers the water slide videos for his channel, to which Chase recalls that he always got more likes for those videos than his other stuff. Emma tells Chase that if he snagged a camera and filmed himself stunting those slides, he would for sure break the internet.

“ | When Chase films his own stunts, he always overthinks his intros. One time, it took him eighty-three takes to set up a hot sauce drinking video and then he ended up vomiting and crying. (chuckles) It was great. | ” |
Chase takes a video camera from the inside of a tree, and Bowie questions Chase on what he's doing as the challenge is about to begin. Chase tells Bowie that he's going to film the greatest water slide stunt in history, and while Bowie points out that being on a TV series means that they're already being filmed at all times of the day, it falls on deaf ears as Chase begins filming anyway before Chris announces that the challenge will start in one minute. Caleb asks Priya for another pep talk, and she advises her team to play with their heads since they're the smarter team overall. Ripper tries to mock them for this by calling them "nerds," but Axel fires back and reduces him to a blushing and stuttering mess over her instead.

The challenge begins with Chris telling Team Rat Face that, as the winners of the previous challenge, they're allowed to decide who goes first. Caleb gives Priya the honor of doing so as team captain, and she decides to let Team Skunk Butt go first. Julia decides to go down the Trash n' Crash first to get 2 points and give their team an early lead.

Julia slides down the second slide, but she misses the basketball goal and lands in the water, and that caused Wayne to cackle at this moment. When his teammates shoot him a look, he says he thought the noise she made was funny. Chris tells the contestants that they rented the basketball net and tells them not to damage the rim with their faces. Priya tells her teammates that Julia didn't tuck and advises them to stay tight coming out of the slide. Caleb praises Priya for letting Team Skunk Butt go first and is lucky that she picked him to be on her team. Millie goes next, saying that she's going to get them three points. But instead, Millie heads for the one-point slide; even Priya points this out, and Millie knows and realizes that she didn't mean three points all at once. So, she slides down and scores the first point for Team Rat Face. Bowie tells Chase to get a quick one-pointer to tie things up, and Emma jokingly tells Chase that no one has hit the subscribe button for a one-pointer slide.

Chase continues his attempts at filming the perfect waterslide intro. MK volunteers to slide and goes down the one-point slide, but she ends up hitting the water.

With the score still 1-0, Zee goes next, going down the one-point slide and changing the score to 2-0. Chase continues trying to film his video when he gets interrupted by Bowie, who tells him that they need to get on the board and asks if he's going to go. Chase complains that he needs everyone to keep this frame clear, as this is a close set. Bowie volunteers to slide, and he manages to score the first point for Team Skunk Butt. With the score now 2-1, Nichelle decides to go down the three-point slide. Priya questions her if she's sure about this, and Nichelle says that she's sure and proceeds to slide down and successfully scores three points for Team Rat Face. Damien admits that he's not going down that slide. Chase continues trying to film his video when he gets interrupted by Julia. Chase scolds Julia for interrupting his video, and because of this, he had to start over. MK sarcastically tells him that if she were him, she'd start over from birth, to which Chase says that he ain't gonna do that. Priya praises Emma for getting into Chase's head and high fives her. At that moment, Zee slides down the two-point slide, ignoring Priya's warning, and the score becomes 7-1. Julia states that it was not fair and that it was their turn, but Chris said that their team could go first, and he never said anything about turns, much to Julia's annoyance. But that doesn't stop Priya from getting Caleb, Emma and Axel to slide down the one-point slide single file. Caleb misses, while Emma and Axel score a point each, with a score of 9-1. Meanwhile, Damien was choosing which slide to go down while telling himself that he could do this.

Since Damien has a blindfold on, Millie guides him to the one-point slide. She asked Damien if he's sure about the blindfold, and Damien told her that as long as he can't see what's happening and he has teammates he can trust, there's nothing he can't do. Millie tells Damien that he can trust her and wishes him good luck. And with that, Damien slides down the one-point slide, scoring another point for Team Rat Face, with the score now being 10-1. Bowie realizes that they're down by nine points and tells Wayne, Raj, MK, and Julia to slide down the two-point slide. As the other contestants slide down the two-point slide, Julia tells Bowie that Chase hasn't slid in this challenge, but she didn't get time to finish before Bowie pushes her down the slide. Wayne and Bowie miss, while Raj, MK, and Julia score two points each, bringing the score to 10-7.
What follows is a montage of the contestants sliding down the slides. Starting with Zee, Priya, and Julia sliding down the one-point slide. Zee scores a point while Priya and Julia miss, Nichelle slides down the three-point slide, but she misses and falls in the water, with the score now being 11-7. Zee slides down the two point slide, with a raccoon on his head, but, he misses and the raccoon uses a plastic bag as a parachute. Millie slides, but fails after three attempts; Chase attempts to film his video, but he ends up falling down the cliff; Emma slides and scores a point; Caleb slides down the two-point slide, does a flip in the air and ends up scoring two more points, bringing the score to 15-7; and Zee slides, but misses and fails after three attempts.

With the score now being 17-7, MK, feeling a little queasy, said that she can't take much more of this, and Bowie wonders where Ripper is, before he knew that he was a big, hairy chicken. But Ripper begs to differ and tells Bowie that he's wrong, as his body was covered in butter and he wore swim trunks. Ripper explains that the butter he's using has a new purpose: to help him slide his way into a lady's heart.

Ripper wonders where Axel is, and Julia tells him that she's just coming back from sliding and tells him to go already. Ripper tells Julia to get Axel to notice him and tries not to be obvious, which Julia complies with. Julia calls out to Axel and tells her that Ripper is developing a crush on her and wants her to watch him slide. Axel is stunned by this, but since she's technically watching, Ripper slides down the second slide at a dangerously fast pace. In the dumpster, a loose nail snags his swimming trunks, and he ends up getting slingshotted away into the woods.

Bowie realized that it's desperation time and that they need three pointers now. Raj offers him and Wayne to go down the three-point slide. But, ignoring Bowie's warning, the Hockey Bros ended up getting stuck. Bowie tells them that if they don't unclog the toilet, they're done for, so he goes to help the Hockey Bros, but only succeeds in getting stuck too. Wayne feels like he's ruining a romantic moment by being there.
Meanwhile, Ripper had landed in a tree in the middle of the woods, where he found a bear licking his buttery feet, which he finds weird.
Back at the challenge, Priya tells her teammates that the toilet is clogged and that they need four more points to win the challenge. Emma slides down the two-point slide, with Axel following suit, while Caleb goes down the one-point slide, carrying Zee with him. But, all four of them miss and fail, with Caleb and Zee bumping into each other. Priya dives in and rescues Caleb. Axel swims to shore, bringing Zee with her. Bowie tells Julia to do something.

“ | Well. If I gotta do this, I'm going in all knees and elbows. I'm gonna make that clog hurt. | ” |
Julia slides down the three-point slide, but ends up getting stuck as well. As Chase tries to film his video, Julia's cries for help interrupt him once again, causing Chase to shout, "Quiet on set!" before continuing to film his video. MK realizes that it's all up to her to save her teammates. But, before she could slide, Ripper then came running in and slides down, with the bear following closely behind. They were able to unclog the toilet, and Julia, Wayne, and Raj scored three points each, along with the bear, with Bowie and Ripper missing, bringing the score to 17-20. Priya is furious that Chris will be counting the bear as well. In the confessional, the bear was seen making a basketball throw pose. Priya tells Millie to go for three. Damien tells Millie that they can do this together and tells her to send him down the one-point slide, while Millie goes down the three-point slide. Millie tells Damien to put on his blindfold. But little did he know that Millie had other plans.

In a last-ditch effort, Millie nonchalantly pushes Damien down the fourth slide, causing Damien to be crushed by the gears. The other Team Rat Face contestants hear his screams and knowing Damien wouldn't do the four-pointer willingly, quickly figure out what Millie has done. Damien gets hit by the boot and ends up in the basket, while MK damages the board. And just like that, Team Rat Face wins the challenge with a final score of 21-20. Millie cheers for the team's victory, but nobody else is celebrating as Axel drags an injured Damien onto the beach. The rest of Team Rat Face glares at Millie for her actions.

“ | I'm happy we have immunity. But what Millie did was wrong. We all know what happens when you can't trust your team. (sighs) The zombies win. | ” |
As Axel carries Damien back to the cabin, who is screaming and crying from what just happened. Millie tries to tell her team a win is a win, but her team still isn't impressed about what she did and leave, much to her sadness. As Team Rat Face leaves, Chris tells Team Skunk Butt to meet him at the elimination ceremony and tells Ripper to come fully dressed.

“ | [Julia]: Ugh! If we keep losing challenges, MK and I are for sure going home! [MK]: So, I'm going to find that uniform the fired intern left behind. It's time to play dirty! |

In an attempt to change their team's luck, MK sneaks into the production trailer and finds the intern uniform.

“ | [Julia]: I think Team Skunk Butt's luck has officially changed. [MK]: Oh yeah! |

At the elimination ceremony, Chef starts explaining why some members of the Skunk Butts would be at risk of elimination. For Wayne and Raj, it’s because they clogged up a toilet, costing their team valuable time.

When Chef then goes to Chase, who actually wonders what he's at risk for, he tells him that while trying to film the perfect intro, he didn't slide once to help his team.

“ | Whoa! Truth hurts… But, my hair was looking sick today! Mmm-hmm! | ” |
And as for Ripper, Chef tells him that as he tried to score a point for his team, he flung his greasy, naked self into the woods and brought an angry bear into a crowded toilet-something that Chris would say is the strangest sentence ever said on this show.

Julia, MK, Wayne, Raj, and Bowie received their marshmallows, leaving Ripper and Chase at the bottom two. Ripper receives the last marshmallow, and he proceeds to rub it on his buttery body before eating it, which disgusts Julia, while Chase gets eliminated.

As Chase tries to film his outro, the Drone of Despair grabs ahold of his camera, and he gets carried away from the island.

- The episode's recap was accidentally revealed months before airing in June 2023 through a leak that happened when Jhonny Torres, the Latin Spanish voice actor of Chris, uploaded an Instagram story that included him recording Chris' voice for the episode's opening, inadvertently revealing the season's two teams and first boot.
- This is the first episode where a fourth generation contestant uses their swimsuit during a challenge, namely Ripper.
- He is the sixth overall fourth generation contestant to appear in his swimsuit, as Axel, Caleb, Nichelle, Priya and Scary Girl are seen in their swimsuits during the Opening sequence and Julia was seen in two different bikinis in her audition tape.
- Chase is the only contestant who doesn't slide down any of the slides. As such, he's also the only contestant to not get injured in this episode.
- During the recap, a woodpecker can be seen pecking a picture of the skull from Duncan's T-shirt onto a tree.
- With Chase's elimination, this leaves Ripper as the only former Ferocious Trout left on Team Skunk Butt.

- This is the first episode of Total Drama Island (2024) to feature nudity.
- With Caleb hurting himself hitting the basketball net, Dawn is once again the only contestant to not be injured in any way during her time on the show.
