This article focuses on the interactions between everyone and Julia.
Overview[]
Initially, Julia assumed the role of a hippie granola girl influencer, projecting a pleasant but somewhat passive-aggressive demeanor towards the other contestants in her debut season. Consequently, she gained a considerable amount of popularity among them. However, this online persona is merely a facade, as the real Julia is a conceited manipulator who harshly judges others based on their appearances. When MK exposes her true nature on the internet in Jurassic Fart, Julia abandons her pretense of being a kind-hearted individual and instead adopts a mean-spirited attitude towards everyone.
This detrimental shift in behavior ultimately ruins her social standing within the competition, as she manages to make enemies out of nearly all the remaining participants. Julia, however, seems content with being disliked, likening the presence of friends to having unsightly blemishes and expressing a lack of desire for either. Additionally, she acknowledges her poor performance in the social aspect of the game, recognizing that she must secure immunity during every elimination ceremony in order to survive. This realization fuels her determination to succeed in the competition.
In the next season of the reboot, Julia’s unpopularity continues as even more individuals develop their own hatred for Julia the more she lies, cheats, or manipulates the competition. By the end of the season, majority of the contestants band together to achieve the goal of making Julia lose.
Axel[]
They don't have many interactions due to both being placed on different teams and Axel's early elimination. However, during Magma Cum Laude, when Bowie looks like he has a chance at making it to the final 2, Julia tries to stick the terms of her and Bowie's deal together so she gets a 50/50 split. She asks if anyone has any tape and Axel responds giving her super tape which is described as being so strong you can attach the wing of a plane with it, a gesture Julia awkwardly appreciates.
In Total Drama Island (2024), the two still generally don't interact much due to being on different teams. However, in Taking It to the Rim Reaper, Julia bluntly gets Axel's attention when Ripper asks her to do so, revealing Ripper's crush on her, confusing Axel. In Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Julia is disgusted by her and Ripper's relationship, calling them the most vile couple she has seen and votes off Axel as a result.
In Soar Losers, Axel uses her binoculars to see who’s coming near the Dock of Shame, hoping that it is Wayne, but instead she sighs as she sees Julia reaching the dock.
Bowie[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Bowie and Julia
Bowie and Julia have never gotten along since the beginning, they consistently try in the show to backstab, manipulate, turn everyone against and fight the other. Whether it's simple sly comments to physical fighting, it is clear they do not get along. They were both placed on the Frogs of Death, and have little reaction till the late pre-merge. They team up temporarily a few times, but Julia ends up pushing Bowie down to benefit herself. In the end, Bowie gets the last laugh after causing Julia's elimination. However she gets revenge when she sabotages him during the finale.
In season two, Bowie picks Julia for his team as a way of attempting to vote her off early. However, Julia proves to be a team player, much to Bowie’s surprise. After Bowie joined Julia and MK in cheating, this unfortunately left Bowie to choose between winning and being honest to his boyfriend. Bowie had succeeded in preventing Julia and MK from sabotaging the Rat Faces in Ice to Beat You, which makes Julia angered enough to vote him off after he loses the first merge challenge.
Caleb[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Caleb and Julia
Caleb and Julia don't really interact in their first season. However, they develop a rivalry in the latter half of their second, when Julia takes the opportunity to come between Caleb and Priya's relationship. She beats the two in Circling the Drain and she is able to gain Caleb's vote for the rest of the season after sharing invincibility with him in Circling the Drain. As a result, Caleb grows conflicted over keeping his promise to her and supporting his girlfriend. But by Off the Hook!, Caleb had decided to try betraying Julia. This attempt fails, officially culminating into a mutual rivalry. The two end up fiercely competing against each other in the finale, overlooking Wayne who's still in the competition. This proves to be both Caleb and Julia's undoing when Wayne wins.
Chase[]
To keep herself safe, in Severe Eggs and Pains, she lies to Chase and tells him that if he works together with Julia, she would help him get his girlfriend Emma back. Chase, being desperate, agrees to this alliance and admits to liking Julia. But when Julia goes in to the confessional, she expresses that Chase is at least three levels below her. After her plan backfires and Chase is no longer useful, their cooperation abruptly ends. Julia finds Chase pathetic and at one point says that the more Chase talks about selflessness, the worse of a person he becomes.
In spite of all of this, like Zee, Chase might still have a positive opinion of her, as because her plan to get Chase back together with Emma apparently worked, Chase winks at her, thanking her for "helping" him get back together with Emma.
When placed on Team Skunk Butt in the following season, Julia is generally annoyed with Chase's narcissism, rolling her eyes when he believes he’s being called out by Chef first simply because everyone else did worse than him in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, she is annoyed at him for getting distracted with filming his intro and not participating in the challenge leading her to vote him off at the end of the episode when they lose.
Chef Hatchet[]
Chef frequently calls out Julia for her behavior at the elimination ceremonies, starting with mentioning how no one knew what her “warrior goddess energy” meant in Drown Town Abbey. In Severe Eggs and Pains, Julia is called out for pushing Bowie to the ground when they found eggs together. At the elimination ceremony of The Truth, The Pole Truth and Nothing But the Truth, Chef mentions Julia’s belief that selfless meant a picture you aren’t in, only wanting her to know he thought it was dumb.
Chris[]
Chris and Julia get off to a bad start as he he confiscated her phones, and made her watch Chef Hatchet throw her phones into the lake. During the challenge, while Chase and Ripper would walk through the deep mud puddle, he would make a joke, saying "Wow! Unlike Julia's social media posts, that was deep.", which caused her to get irritated. He had very little care for her prior to the reveal of her true face in Jurassic Fart. He eventually grows a liking towards the drama she caused. In The Launchback of Notre Game, he takes a few pokes at her for costing her team the challenge. In Caved by the Bell, Chris compliments Julia’s drawing of Millie and as he watches her being taken away by the Drone of Despair, he admits that he’ll miss her.
Damien[]
Due to being on opposing teams in Total Drama Island (2023) and at first Total Drama Island (2024), the two have limited interaction. In Drown Town Abbey where she's still pretending to be a hippie granola girl. When Damien is panicking about his life being in danger, Julia attempts to give him advice about keeping his inner calm. However during the merge of Season 2 there there appears to be a conflict between them.
In Choosin' for a Bruisin', Julia is disgusted at finding out Damien would rather go without toilet paper over sleeping in a graveyard. In Ice to Beat You, at the beginning of the episode Nichelle insults Julia, Damien laughs. Later after Nichelle quits, Damien says he did not expect that to happen. In which Julia tells him she did, with him asking her how she knew, she tells him it’s because she wrote the fake contract and taunts him and his team before leaving. Damien makes a note to himself to never cross Julia. In Canoe Believe It?, Damien and Julia face off in the second round with Damien initially terrified of facing her. However, he manages to gain the upper hand and defeats her. In Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Julia sabotages his team's baking soda which blows up over him, managing to slow them down. In Breaking Up is Hard to Do, Damien is annoyed with Julia for bringing up the game when they are trying to comfort Priya over her heartbreak with Caleb and tries to point out there are more important things than the competition. In Circling the Drain, Julia sabotages Damien and has no remorse when he is eliminated. In Soar Losers, Damien roots for Caleb over Julia since he wants to see her lose for stealing his immunity idol.
Emma[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Emma and Julia
Emma and Julia do not get along from the very beginning, primarily due to Julia consistently shutting Emma down on her looks in an intentionally devious way: from telling her she's brave in the way she doesn't care about her looks to insulting her hair. It is clear that Julia does not find Emma even remotely pretty. Emma tries to be nice anyway and actively showed concern over Julia's well-being when she almost drowned. Ultimately Julia burns through all of Emma's goodwill toward her. By the time teams are dissolved they have nothing but contempt for each other. Neither show any interest in working together, as a result Emma and Bowie are consistent opposition Julia has throughout the merge.
In Tortoise Rigamortis, Julia takes advantage of Emma's doubts to feed ideas that'd turn her against Bowie. It succeeds and Julia's able to defeat Emma on her own. She then lies that Emma killed a 'poor defenseless' turtle to make her look as bad as possible before Emma's inevitable elimination.
Millie[]
Julia and Millie do not have much interactions at first, but once the teams merge Julia works with and against Millie, as well as Priya quite frequently. Their conflict is briefly foreshadowed in events like Julia spraying Millie and Priya in Numbskull Island, but their conflict fully begins in The Wheel of Vomit when Julia busts into the mess hall and slaps the besties' food right into their faces. Priya and Millie are unamused, discussing how Julia abruptly became pure evil now. During Paddle Field Earth, Julia offers Millie and Priya an alliance, as she did not want to work with Bowie. Millie is hesitant, well aware that Julia cannot be trusted but Priya insists. Later, they mutually agree to vote for Zee due to his attempt at joining the two active alliances. As the two are tempted by a fresh pizza in The Truth, The Pole Truth and Nothing But the Truth, Julia comments on how she’d sacrifice half the population for one slice. Millie agrees with this notion, before Julia rudely says she’d begin with her.
In Tortoise Rigamortis, Julia aims to work with them again in order to knock out Bowie and Emma's alliance. At the same time, Julia wants to interfere with their friendship in order to weaken their bond for Julia's benefit. She attempts this by praising Priya's friendship bracelet and dissing Millie's. Later in the episode Julia attempts to discuss with them about their next target and interrupts their alliance selfie multiple times, but both Priya and Millie aren't having it with her anymore. Millie mocks her throughout the exchange, pointing out how her little monologue caused the lions to go to sleep and intending to tell the other alliance about what she's trying to pull. In the end, Julia won immunity so Millie and Priya could not vote for her.
In the next episode, Julia tries to convince Millie and Priya yet again to work with her, and they say they'd consider her, but Julia is a backstabber and a liar so they instead work with Bowie to crush Julia. After Julia celebrates the idea of Millie and Priya’s deaths putting her in the finals, Millie glares at Julia as they walk away. After the two alliances collide into one another, Julia snaps at Millie and Priya for getting her way, going as far as to snatch Millie’s bag, before realizing that it only has one token. After the Super Alliance seemingly fails, Julia insults Millie and Priya’s performance, and points them to a few tokens so their loss would be “less humiliating”. However this comes back to bite her, as the Super Alliance wins the challenge. Julia votes for Millie, and when hearing Chris’s tiebreaker method, Julia comments on how she wanted a fight to the death instead, but this worked as well.
MK[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Julia and MK
Julia and MK have their first interaction in Meet the Victims where it ended with MK stealing her phone in order to record others' confessionals. Later on, MK would record Julia snapping at a Raptor, uploading it to the internet, in turn ruining her reputation, and allowing Julia to reveal her true colors. Their final interactions in season one come when they argue at the end of a challenge, as Julia had cost them the win. But Julia would soon find out that MK recorded their confessionals, as MK used her word "butt-knuckle," a word Julia had only said in the confessional. Julia also found out that MK was the one who posted the video of her roasting the Raptor. However, her team didn’t believe her until she mentioned that MK saw them pooping much to their shock. Julia successfully manages to expose MK and gets her eliminated.
In Total Drama Island (2024), Julia and MK have put their conflict aside: becoming an alliance to avoid being voted off by Bowie and the Hockey Bros. Their scheming ways make them a powerful alliance. The two partake in cheating from You Poor Saps onwards. Julia and MK often use the confessional together in the second half of the reboot, and they share similar reactions to the events happening around them on their team. Julia expresses an admiration for MK's ingenuity and sneakiness. In return, MK is awed by Julia's viciousness. The alliance continues into the merge: with Julia narrowly saving MK from elimination at Bowie's expense. But when the vote came down to Julia or MK in Breaking Up is Hard to Do, MK did not hesitate to try sending Julia home. Nevertheless, the latter sends the former home just like last season. MK is not mad at Julia for this, however, and she is Julia's sole supporter in the season finale
Nichelle[]
Due to Nichelle's limited role in the first season, she's not around when Julia's true face is revealed. This leaves their dynamic as a comedic one throughout the teams phase. In Pirates of the Cabbagean, Julia and Nichelle are paired together to work a cannon, Julia says that Wayne obviously would put the two famous people together which leaves Nichelle confused as she has no idea who Julia is. The disconnect between their personalities doesn't stop the two from working together well. Julia loads the cabbages and Nichelle aimed and shot them. Julia gives Nichelle advice on not screaming as it ages her neck, and Julia interrupts Nichelle's endgame attitude with a selfie. In Drown Town Abbey, Julia attempts to manifest her "goddess warrior energy" into Nichelle to support her, but it ends up backfiring. Later that night, Julia most likely voted for Nichelle, however, Nichelle blames her stunt double, Jerry instead.
In Total Drama Island (2024), Nichelle seems to have became aware of Julia's true nature. In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, Julia complains about Nichelle not being on Team Skunk Butt, showing she acknowledges her physical skill. At the beginning of Ice to Beat You, the two exchange insults with each other. Being mad at being called "small town dinner theater [actress]," Julia orchestrates Nichelle's elimination by writing a fake movie contract for her, causing Nichelle to quit in order to star in movies again. In Soar Losers, Nichelle roots for Caleb over Julia, since she wants to see her lose, most likely over the fake contract incident.
Owen[]
In Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Owen jokes that Julia's parents' bake shop where she used to work as a kid should've been called "Little Mean Julia's" instead of "Little Sweet Julia's".
Priya[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Julia and Priya
Priya acknowledges Julia's heel-turn into "full evil" with her opinion on the influencer dropping into the negatives. In spite of that, Priya has some form of respect for Julia and her incredible challenge performance. It's one of the reasons she chose to form an alliance with Julia in the final seven of Total Drama Island (2023), primarily citing the tapeworm as a case for how incredible Julia's resolve is. However, this alliance was only temporary, Priya is quick to drop Julia once the numbers favor her and Millie. In the finale, Julia starts to feel a partial amount of respect for Priya in the finale; cheers for her when she wins, though it may have been merely out of contentment with Bowie having been denied the win.
In Total Drama Island (2024), the two do not majorly interact until Circling the Drain; but it was evident their conflict hadn't simmered long before this. From that episode onwards, Julia puts a strain on Caleb and Priya's relationship; all the while butting heads with Priya during challenges too. Their conflict reaches a high in Off the Hook!. After repeatedly hooking each other in the challenge, Priya seemingly has edged Julia out at the elimination ceremony, before the latter revealed her Immunity Idol.
Raj[]
The bulk of their interactions come from Julia's attempts at being a positive granola girl. Other than thanking him in Drown Town Abbey, usually his shenanigans with Wayne leave Julia confused. With her directly asking what are they even in saying in Jurassic Fart. Julia also shouts orders at Wayne and Raj in The Launchback of Notre Game. She largely acknowledges Raj as a singular entity with Wayne more or less and has no real concern when they're sent to the hospital in their elimination episode. Instead she's happy to have survived another elimination round.
The Hockey Bros dramatically gasped when Bowie picked Julia for their team in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. Julia shows no remorse in forcing Wayne and Raj to play dirty in You Poor Saps and the following two episodes. Raj is angered when finding out she and MK had been cheating in Ice to Beat You and ends up getting into a snowball fight with her as a result. Initially, Raj is angered at the idea of being on the same team as Julia in Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral due to her causing Bowie's elimination the previous episode. However, he warms up to the idea when Wayne convinces him to see it as a hockey trade. He and Wayne end up annoying Julia with their idiocy in failing to get ingredients and falling unconscious after getting attacked by animals when getting the milk and eggs. In Working K9 to 5, Julia attempts to convince him and Wayne to vote off Priya but fails thanks to the Hockey Bros making their voting decision on a coin flip that convinces them to vote off Caleb. This leads Julia to instead convince Caleb and Priya to vote off Raj instead.
Raptor[]
In Jurassic Fart, Julia kickstarts a brief conflict between her and one of the raptors after brutally insulting its looks, saying the reason they’re extinct is because no one would want to date them: leading to it crying in its' cave. In Tortoise Rigamortis, Julia pretends to be friendly and tries to resolve their conflict in hopes of getting a selfie with the raptor. This attempt to be "besties" fail miserably, the raptor roars in her face, making her hair disheveled all over again. Julia then runs for her life with the Raptor giving chase to try to have revenge.
Julia attempts to hide in the raptor’s cave in Working K9 to 5. However, still angered at Julia for last season, the raptor angrily roars at her, letting her get caught again as well. In Soar Losers, most of Julia’s hair was torn off by the raptor after Priya shot her into the water. In retaliation, Julia angrily punches the dinosaur into a wall.
Ripper[]
Ripper is just another target for her bullying at first, from tossing a burrito in his face to giving him a brutal wedgie. Once the teams are dissolved, Julia attempts to manipulate Ripper into voting for Chase. However, Ripper sees through her attempt at eliminating him and targets her instead: much preferring his bromance with Chase than someone trying to take advantage of him. In the episode after, both Ripper and Julia are aware that they're going home next if they don't win immunity. This escalates their short lived rivalry until they're the final two in The Wheel of Vomit's challenge. When both of them are eating the tapeworm and their faces are close, it's implied Ripper finds Julia attractive. He shows no qualms with Julia potentially being his first kiss. Ripper ends up losing the tiebreaker and is voted off afterwards.
When on the same team in the following season, Julia doesn't think very highly of Ripper as a teammate. In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, she complains about Ripper being on their team instead of Nichelle, offending him. Later in the episode, she is continuously repulsed by him when he is covered in butter wearing only a speedo and rubbing his marshmallow on his buttered body. In the same episode, Ripper asks for her help in getting Axel's attention to watch him go down the two-point slide, with Julia reluctantly obliging, albeit by bluntly telling Axel about his crush on her. Despite their conflict, the two briefly form a truce in Ice to Beat You to side with MK in cheating in challenges with Ripper helping them by allowing them to draw the map to the ice maze on his stomach. This brief truce does not last long as by Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Julia is disgusted by his and Axel's relationship, calling them the most vile couple she has seen and votes off his girlfriend as a result.
Scary Girl[]
In The Pink Painter Strikes Again, after Scary Girl reveals what she did to become normal during the elimination ceremony, Julia looks horrified when she finds out that she had been stalking her and the other contestants between seasons culminating her into voting off Scary Girl with rest of the team. In Soar Losers, Scary Girl uses the t-shirt cannon to knock Julia off of the tightrope, Scary Girl also shows excitement at Caleb and Julia crashing through a tree and even makes a song about it in the confessional.
Wayne[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Julia and Wayne
Julia and Wayne were both members of the Frogs of Death in Total Drama Island (2023), but she scarcely interacted with him for the first season. Julia simply disliked Wayne and Raj, although they’d been friendly with her in episodes like Jurassic Fart. She expressed no concern when the Hockey Bros were evacuated, viewing it as simply another chance to stay in the game.
In Total Drama Island (2024), Julia’s fear of being voted off by Bowie, Raj, and Wayne led to her being more of a team player. She had forced the Hockey Bros to join her and MK in cheating, not caring about their desire to win the right way. Julia was partnered with Wayne in Canoe Believe It? and Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, having been fed up with him for most of their shared screen time in the episodes. Eventually, Julia would eliminate Wayne's best friend Raj, causing Wayne to be left alone for the first time. She would use this as an opportunity to try allying with him in Off the Hook!; purely as a backup plan in case Caleb betrayed her. Wayne votes for Julia at the elimination ceremony in the aforementioned episode, and Julia did not celebrate Wayne's victory in the season finale.
Zee[]
Due to being on separate teams in both Total Drama Island (2023) and Total Drama Island (2024), their interactions are very minimal. Generally, Zee shows no ill will to Julia throughout his time on the show. In Launch Back of Notre Game, Zee tries to be friendly with Julia and even shares his idea on how to win the challenge with her, only for her to have complete disinterest in conversing with Zee. In The Wheel of Vomit, Julia gives both Ripper and Zee an wedgie as she gives everyone a “serious wake-up call”, and she later manages to eliminate Zee from the challenge after finding out he's grossed by where milk comes from. In Paddle Field Earth, Julia refers to Zee as too dumb to know he’s being used, and seeks him as the fourth member of “Team Julia”. She’s the one who pulls him behind the bush, and gladly welcomes him to her alliance. Despite being her ally, Zee shows no problem with letting Julia “distract” the crocodiles while he joins the others in moving on. At the vote, Julia is one of many to vote off Zee in the revote after he revealed his plan to put an end to the alliances and conflicts.
In Haulin' n' Baulin', Julia notices that Zee is hiding a secret that could impact the game and spends the entire episode pressuring him to reveal it to her. She expresses joy at him when he finally reveals that Caleb initially intended to form an alliance with Priya to get further in the game and didn't truly like her (being unaware that Caleb developed legitimate romantic feelings for Priya as the season progressed) and tries to reassure him he did the right thing by spilling the secret. However, she quickly grows angry at Zee when he reveals her embarrassing secret of stealing her grandmother's earrings and refuses to sit near him at the elimination ceremony. It is indicated she voted out Zee for this. His ill will towards Julia finally appears in Soar Losers when he sighs upon learning that Julia was arriving at the dock instead of Wayne. However, when Caleb and Julia jump to the final target, he is left admiring them both out of curiosity about who will win.
