Wayne was a camper on Total Drama Island (2023) as a member of the Frogs of Death. He returned for Total Drama Island (2024) as a member of Team Skunk Butt and was the winner of the season.
Personality[]
Wayne is a hockey-loving fan and player. While he isn't very bright, when it comes to strategies, he knows how to plan out. He can be rather immature, laughing at innuendos and not always understanding what is and isn't real.
Wayne cares very much for his best friend, Raj. The two were childhood friends and would do things other friends wouldn't normally do. He was perfectly okay with his friend being gay and was happy for him when he was able to be together with Bowie. Wayne understands that it's better to let someone come out on their own terms instead of forcing them out, keeping the fact that he already knows Raj likes guys to himself and waited for him to make the choice himself. He did subtly hint to Raj that he could tell him if he wanted to.
Wayne is shown to be the more assertive of the two, as he insisted on being captain in Pirates of the Cabbage'an due to being captain of his hockey team.
Total Drama Island (2023)[]

Wayne and Raj were introduced together at the beginning of the premiere. They talk about how cool it would be if the lake turned to ice, which they laugh at together. Wayne and Raj get told which team they are on before deciding to mock the other team, saying they'd be more impressed with a clogged toilet. Ripper tries to fight back, but the two intimidate him even more.
Later on, Wayne has claimed a top bunk and has his bag next to him. He grins at Raj as he lays down and talks about how members of their team are good-looking, which Raj agrees with. Bowie dumps his bag and tells the Hockey Bros. he will give them some privacy if they intend to continue talking about him.
During the first challenge, Wayne and Raj laugh after Chris says that the course is loaded with booby traps. Raj tells him to stop talking since Chris is trying to explain the challenge. They are also both passionate about the idea of dining on pizza and wings. They assign Wayne and Nichelle the task of carrying a bucket while blindfolded. They run into the murder hornet nests, and Emma warns them to stop. Wayne eventually gets stung on the finger, which leads to him overreacting and his head landing in a bees nest. Wayne says that bees have sharp teeth. Later Emma tells Ripper to turn around, which Nichelle and Wayne mistake for her talking to them. Wayne crashes into a rake as he attempts to pick up the pace, and Nichelle flings into him too. Wayne then hits his groin on a wood chunk, but thankfully he is wearing a cup, so he experiences no pain.
After then falling behind, Bowie tells Nichelle and Wayne they need to run, so Wayne offers to carry Nichelle on his back since he is a Piggyback champion. Raj backs this up, saying that Wayne has won the Prince Albert Piggyback Tournament 3 years straight. After Nichelle agrees, Wayne carries her forward, screaming owl noises to motivate himself. Bowie realizes he and Nichelle are about to run into the hot coals, so Bowie warns the pair, but Emma insists she will tell them when to jump. However, she times it wrong and leaves Wayne's feet burning, so he drops Nichelle and runs away and lands in the mud puddle. Wayne describes the loss as that it was game over for the boys.

During the elimination ceremony, Chef explains to Nichelle that Wayne was working hard to win, but Nichelle held him back. Despite this, Wayne does not appear particularly angry at her. Wayne asks Raj who he voted for, and he says that he voted for him, and Wayne agrees that he voted Raj back. He states he hopes they win, but Chris is immediately disappointed and tells them they are supposed to vote who to eliminate. Wayne and Raj both apologise to Chris, and they both receive the second and third last marshmallow.
In Pirates of the Cabbagean, when Chris explains the second challenge to the campers, Wayne, along with everyone else, seems startled when Scary Girl finds blood exciting. Wayne nominates himself to be the captain of the Frogs of Deaths' ship since he has leadership experience from being the ice hockey captain. Wayne and Raj excitedly tell their team about their hockey team, the Snow Owls, by chanting "Hoot! Hoot!" Wayne tells MK and Raj to get cabbages for the cannon, which Wayne mistakes as a fruit. When Bowie and Emma volunteer for one of the cannons, Wayne tells Julia and Nichelle to operate the other. The Frogs of Death fight the Ferocious Trout, and Wayne keeps a lookout for the other teams' cabbages.
After Bowie and Emma hit Chase with one of the cabbages, Wayne suggests that the team knock off the Ferocious Trout members so they have less of them defending, making it easier to sink their ship. Wayne and the others initiate their plan, successfully knocking Millie, Axel, Chase, and Scary Girl off the ship. After Emma stops celebrating for knocking Chase out, Nichelle tells the team to finish their plan, and Wayne passionately agrees. Even when the Frogs of Death begin to worry about Zee crashing into their ship for both teams to tie, Wayne remains level-headed and tells his team to sink the ship before that happens.
Despite their efforts, Ferocious Trouts' ship gets closer to the Frogs of Deaths', and Wayne and the others begin to worry that they won't sink the ship in time. As a result, he tells everyone to brace the impact. However, a seagull sits on the steering wheel, driving Zee to crash into a rock and causing the Ferocious Trouts' ship to sink. Wayne and Raj celebrate their victory by hugging each other, while everyone on the Frogs of Death cheers. In Wayne and Raj's confessional, they continue to celebrate their victory. They respect the other team's efforts, despite saying that they played poorly.

Chris congratulates the winning team and compliments Wayne on his great strategy, and Wayne thanks him. According to Chris, if hockey doesn't work out for the Hockey Bros., they could become good pirates. When the camera flickers to Wayne and Raj's confessional again, they express full confidence in their professional hockey dreams. However, they both state that if they don't make it, they will become beekeepers because of their love of syrup. However, in his confessional, Bowie states that syrup does not come from bees.
At the beginning of Drown Town Abbey, Wayne, Raj, and Emma talk excitedly over Nichelle's famous stunts that she performed in her films. Wayne particularly likes the scene in Fight or Flight Attendant when she kicks a ninja out of an airplane. She responds by telling Wayne that she liked filming that stunt because the producers let her fly the plane, to which Wayne responds with elation. Wayne sits with Bowie and Raj during breakfast and claims that he is going to "carb load" before the third challenge. Bowie is disgusted with the breakfast and decides to leave. Wayne asks him if he can eat his breakfast, which Bowie doesn't mind. Wayne is pleased and eagerly takes his bowl. Wayne bets that he can eat two bowls before Raj finishes one, where Raj accepts his bet, and the two of them gulp down their breakfast. Wayne finds Raj dumping his breakfast down as "cheating," but Raj tells him that he never said it was a rule. They continue with their competition.
After Chris explains the challenge to both teams, Wayne ushers the Frogs of Death to huddle and take a knee. After MK refuses, Wayne tells her that there's no "we" in "team." Raj says that otherwise it would be "tweam," to which Wayne adds that "no one say that." Emma picks Wayne to go 5th in order for the competition. No one argues, and the Frogs of Death do their team cheer. Wayne cheers for Raj as he traverses the obstacle course. Even when Raj slips on the grease, Wayne encourages him to keep going. Wayne comments on Bowie's great skills. Wayne and Raj hype each other up when it's Wayne's turn on the obstacle course.

In Numbskull Island, Wayne, Raj, and Bowie set out to retrieve the plastic skull from the Ferocious Trout's shelter. Wayne gets crushed by trying to stop a boulder Ripper released. He notices that when Bowie saved Raj from another one (which crushes him for a second time) he was laying on top of Raj in a compromising yet romantic looking way and his best friend didn't object to it. He admits in the confessional that he believes Raj is gay and can't wait for him to come out.
As the Hockey Bros eat with Julia in Jurassic Fart, Wayne acts friendly to her before grossing her out by mentioning feces. The Hockey Bros work together in the challenge, coming up with a plan to traverse the island together. They manage to lure the raptor into a tape trap and cleverly use the mud scum to skate their way to the finis
In Launch Back of Notre Game, Wayne and Raj arrive late for the challenge as they were finding their lucky playoff beards that wear at their hockey games because they cannot grow facial hair left. They couldn't find them, and MK says Wayne probably ate it in his sleep. During the challenge, Wayne gets launched into the bull pit, and Raj gets launched into the tapioca pudding pit, and he struggles in there as he got a cramp. Bowie comes to save Raj, and they kiss, with Wayne seeing it. He is excited for Raj to tell him he is gay.

In Severe Eggs and Pains, throughout the episode, Wayne tries to encourage Raj to come out. Raj does not know what Wayne is doing, much to the latter's disappointment. They both team up to find the cassowary eggs and get chased by cassowaries. Eventually, the cassowaries surround them and then attack them and push them off the cliff. As they fall, Raj tells Wayne he is gay, and Wayne is happy that Raj told him. During the elimination ceremony, medical personnel evacuate the Hockey Bros from the competition.
Wayne returns in the finale, where he actively cheers for Bowie alongside his best friend. He looks sad at Bowie losing the finale. Later, when Chris invites him and everyone else to another season, he celebrates with Raj.
Total Drama Island (2024)[]
Wayne and Raj attempt to help Bowie apologize to everyone for what happened last season in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. Wayne tackles Bowie and Raj while trying to hug them after he’s picked for their team. Wayne and Raj both perform well in the challenge, but are taken out after being unable to tell whether Axe Hatchet was able to see them or not. The Hockey Bros voted off Scary Girl after being creeped out by her speech.
In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, Wayne and Raj give advice for Ripper when it comes to dating. Their advice doesn't help as all Ripper had to show for it was a sad face. When Julia slides down the second slide, but she misses the basketball goal and lands in the water, and that caused Wayne to cackle at this moment. When his teammates shoot him a look, he says he thought the noise she made was funny. aj offers him and Wayne to go down the three-point slide. But, ignoring Bowie's warning, the Hockey Bros ended up getting stuck. Bowie tells them that if they don't unclog the toilet, they're done for, so he goes to help the Hockey Bros, but only succeeds in getting stuck too. Wayne feels like he's "ruining a romantic moment". During the elimination ceremony, Chef calls the Hockey Bros out for clogging up the toilet, costing their team valuable time.

In You Poor Saps, Wayne asks if it would be hard to get through the woods with all the sap on them. Raj figures out they are making it hard on purpose, Chef is surprised he is just starting to understand that. During the challenge, Raj tells Wayne a shortcut would be faster, and Wayne agrees, Bowie reluctantly agrees and goes with them. MK pulls out a box full of de-sapifying spray from a tree stump where she had stashed. Wayne thinks it's so lucky that they're just lying in the middle of MK's shortcut. Raj then asks what are the chances before yelling "Score!". Julia and MK shared awkward glances at each other. MK replies saying it sounds exactly like cheating. Wayne cries that cheating is wrong, and MK tells him it is not as bad as losing three challenges in a row. Bowie tells Wayne and Raj it is not cheating, it's just giving them a slight advantage that the other team doesn't have, adding that rules are meant to be broken. Raj says he and Wayne will not be cheating, Wayne high-fives him and their hands get stuck together. Wayne says that's not good, but Raj says it's fine and Snow Owls never quit, to which Wayne agrees. The two high-five again but get stuck together trying to get their hands unstuck. MK wants to spray them, but Julia wants to see how tangled they get. Wayne and Raj are sprayed with the de-sapifying spray. Raj says he has never appreciated not being covered in sap, until he was covered in sap. Wayne agrees, saying he feels so clean but very dirty (because of the cheating). Bowie says he thinks Wayne and Raj are really upset about cheating. Julia tells him they are over it, but they are both crying (with Wayne even making puddles). Wayne's team use paintbrushes to drowse themselves with the sap. MK tells them she planted the goop while she was bringing out the spray cans, and they can't arrive at the finish line clean. Wayne tells Raj at least they were sticky for part of the challenge, and Raj tells him it was 5% less cheating, they then high-five and get their hands stuck together again. Chris announces Team Skunk Butt win. They all begin cheering, except Wayne and Raj, and tells Team Rat Face he will see them tonight. Wayne and Raj are showering to get clean, and Wayne says he can't get the cheat off.
The hockey bros along with Ripper are entering the cabin in Ice to Beat You when Bowie tells them he wants to go out for a walk with them. The true is, that Julia and the others secretly draw a maze map for the next challenge. Indicate, the team cheated again. At the challenge, when Raj asks why they are doing the maze, Ripper says they have a plan. But MK distracts them by giving skate rollers to the hockey bros, giving them enough time to skate around the ice without their acknowledging the cheat. They finally skate to the finish line but feel confused since the maze should be harder. When Wayne sees the maze on Ripper's stomach and believes it's a birthmark, Raj looks at it and eventually realizes it is a map, growing angry that they cheated again, now realizing how MK knew to bring skates. Wayne says that what they're doing is wrong, but Julia ignores their warnings and the two just stay out of their way. They are even more upset when they find Julia and Mk also want to melt the opposing team's safe and steal their coin. As Bowie pleads Raj for what he has done earlier, they engage themselves in snowball fights with Julia, MK, and Ripper. As both sides throw snowballs, the still active dryer which Julia accidentally drops begins cracking the ice, causing Team Skunk Butt and the frozen Yeti to fall at the bottom. After barely getting out from the snow, the Team Skunk Butt manages to run for their lives from the yeti as they quickly jump into the bobsled to escape. MK accidentally breaks the brake, causing them to move faster and even bypass the opposite team's boat, they finally land on the dock with MK holding the team's coin. Their team cheers because they won, but Wayne and Raj aren't happy as Bowie looks at them with remorse.
In Canoe Believe It?, Wayne is looking for a partner to pair up for the challenge. He first goes for Raj but he already chooses Bowie instead. Then, searches for Damien, but he picks Zee as his partner. Wayne feels gross out to pair with Ripper since he already make out with Axel. Thus, forcing himself to team up with Julia again. As they carry their canoe to the lake, Wayne continues to unintentionally annoy Julia. After reaching their destination, Chris reveals the challenge that the people who partnered with each other would be fighting each other. Causing Julia to cheers now that she can take down Wayne with ease. During the challenge, Julia pretends she got hurt and upset after Wayne hits a light tap. Feeling bad for his actions, he apologizes and says he didn't mean to before Julia hit him hard, causing him to hit his groin on the corner of the canoe before falling into the water.

In Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Wayne is paired up with Julia & Raj. Wayne and Raj gave Julia angry glances due to her previous actions as she nervously laughed at them. The Hockey Bros attempt to hype her up by cheering her name and bumping her with their chests, annoying Julia. Priya manages to get flour from her team but drops it after being hit into the water by Wayne, who used a nearby sack. Raj smiles at his buddy after Wayne yells out "Battle cry!", but Raj then notices MK trying to get up, and he hits her back down using the same method Wayne used. Taking him by surprise, Julia jumps on Caleb's shoulders and repeatedly hits him in the face with a frying pan. Damien runs with a trident he got out of nowhere and throws it at Wayne, nearly hitting him and making him exclaim. Raj calls Julia over because they have all they need as Wayne drives away.Due to Wayne and Raj not getting anything, Julia makes it back to the dock and sees that, unfortunately, they will be getting the raw ingredients they have to mill themselves. Julia arrived, hoping that Wayne and Raj would start preparing the eggs, but they were playing baseball with them instead, breaking them all in the process. Wayne and Raj need to go find more eggs. Julia yells at them to go now, causing them to run away in a panic to find them quick. Wayne and Raj almost run directly into chickens before Raj stops Wayne, reminding him of what Emma said about being attacked by chickens. Wayne replied by saying his uncle had a farm in Saskatoon, and so he's been catching chickens since before he could skate. He then shouted out "Now let's get some eggs!" The chickens looked in shock before glaring at them as Raj asked Wayne if chickens looked at him like that before, but Wayne couldn't say he had. One stepped forward and challenged them to a fight by doing a wing motion, causing the boys to realize they were about to attack, but they couldn't get away before they were trampled. Julia tells the Hockey Bros to get milk. They milk a rhino, mistaking it for a cow. Julia, Raj, & Wayne win the challenge.
Wayne has a rather below average performance throughout the merge.
In Haulin' n' Ballin', Wayne and Raj rush to the challenge location, but Wayne falls off the mountain and falls onto a raft with his coin on the lake. Eventually, he arrives back on the island riding a fish truck. But when entering the challenge, Wayne would instantly be eliminated from the challenge. Later, Chef told Wayne that this little misadventure was why he could've been going home that night.

Wayne and Raj, along with Damien try to help cheer of Priya and don't allow Caleb to speak to Priya in Breaking Up is Hard to Do. For the challenge, Wayne chooses to try chopping down the outhouse after a long sequence of struggling to think of any ideas. He would experience difficulties while trying to break it. His axe wouldn't work, he interrupted one of Priya's confessionals, and even a big construction wrecking ball failed to destroy the outhouse. This leads Chef to intervene with the discovery that the outhouse was indestructible after years of being used by the contestants. However, Wayne refuses to give up; eventually succeeding in busting a hole in the wall.
In Circling the Drain, Wayne scoops up some soft food in a spoon and tells Raj “Here comes the puck!” He then proceeds to move the spoon around using hockey terms before finally shooting the food at Raj’s face, hitting his forehead instead. Wayne brushes this miss off and says he hit “off the post,” shooting multiple times and repeatedly missing Raj’s mouth. During the challenge, all the campers began looking at the board intensely… except Wayne and Raj, who interrupted by telling Chris they had a tutor to study for them so that they could focus on hockey. When the campers were supposed to pick Chase's icon, Wayne and Raj chose Zee. Not understanding the challenge, Raj asked if they got a point, which Chris flatly responded with one word: “No.” The two boys heard rumbling underneath them before being blasted into the air with orange soda, finding it fun. However, the fun ended when the soda disappeared, and they hit the ground hard. Wayne said they had to stay in the game. Raj agreed, asking if he knew who they were looking for. Wayne said no, asking if he did, but Raj didn’t either. Chef told them that it was MK, and it was right on the board, and so Chris told him to not help. Wayne was excited they chose the same square and Raj called the three of them “great minds”, but this wasn’t a good sign to Caleb. Wayne was excited he and Raj still had a shot, but Chris said they were out.
During Working K9 to 5, the Hockey Bros feel bad for voting of Damien last episode. Throughout the challenge, they constantly get caught by the police dogs. Raj takes off his clothes and places them on a dummy and the dog ripped it apart and Wayne thought Raj was killed until Raj appeared next to him. During elimination, Raj is voted off. Wayne has a tearful goodbye with him as the Drone of Despair carries him off. Wayne interrupts again, asking why the challenge was called painful memories if all they had to do was match faces.

At the start of the episode, Julia tries to befriend Wayne as she needs allies. Julia betrays Wayne several times during the challenge, much to his confusion. He freaks out from his greatest fear, Raj playing for the opposing team. However, he immediately overcomes his fear by understanding that they will still be friends. Later on, he has to face his other fear, his own team mascot. The intern inside the costume gets attacked by spiders inside of the costume, and Wayne helps her and overcomes his fear. He then votes Julia, but then she pulls out the immunity idol, eliminating Priya instead.
Wayne dives at a dangerously high speed in a last ditch effort, allowing him to win the second season of the reboot.
Wayne is a finalist in Soar Losers. In contrast to Caleb's team, Wayne's team supports him instead of just being against Julia. Throughout the race for the $1,000,000 prize, he gets distracted easily by the objects placed by Chris, such as, an ice cream machine, making him behind the other finalists. Raj tries to get Wayne to focus, but he also gets distracted. Eventually, he gets to the second part of the race, crossing a rope hanging over water. Caleb's supporters are unable to shoot him with the t-shirt cannon as he is well liked and would feel bad if they shoot him, however Raj shoots him and causes him to fall to give him a t-shirt. Later, he puts on the flying squirrel suit to fly to finish line. He is behind, so he dives straight to finish line, causing him to catch on fire and go fast. He crashes into the finish line, knocking Caleb and Julia away and becoming the winner of the season. In a confessional, Wayne and all his supporters cheer for his victory. At the end, Chris rewards Wayne with the one million dollar prize and the canoe that was holding the money.

- According to Terry McGurrin, Wayne likely has a Radek Bonk-like style of hair under his cap when asked by fans if Wayne was bald because of his head animation assets lacking hair under the cap.
- This was allegedly confirmed when Wayne was shown without his cap in You Poor Saps and later in Soar Losers. However, Wayne was showering/has been in the water, and due to that his hair was wet.
