Total Drama Island: Take the Crown is an online game dedicated to Total Drama Island (2023) released on July 31, 2023. It is available on BBC's website for players in the United Kingdom.

Overview[]
In the game, the player can choose a single player or multiplayer mode, then they will get a randomly generated team of 6 members with a randomly generated name, consisting mostly of parts of the names of the teams from previous seasons. The player will then be shown a map of 8 challenges, each of them having their own minigame. If the player's team loses, they will eliminate one of their teammates, similarly to the show. After half of the minigames, the merge starts, with the players getting to choose one of the remaining contestants to play with until the end.
Challenge[]
Totally Buzzing[]
In this game, the player has to tap on the flies appearing inside the confessional until none of them are left. Tapping the ones appearing in front of the teammates' faces gives bonus points.
Race Lake Leech[]
In this game, 6 contestants swim across the lake, collecting coins and avoiding obstacles along the way.
Barrel of Gross[]
In this game, the player taps on the buckets above contestants from their team to prevent them from passing out from the rising stink.
Finders Keepers[]
In this game, the player has to click on the objects inside the cabin to collect them as fast as possible, getting bonuses for specific items and getting penalized for clicking unnecessary ones.
Swamp Walk[]
In this game, the player has to click the left and right arrows to regain balance while walking on the rope over a swamp, having three attempts to complete the walk.
Forest Flinger[]
This game is similar to Toxic Targets as the player has to send a contestant flying across the map. The player has three attempts to collect as many coins as possible. Tapping and bouncing off of mattresses and bears will make the fall slightly longer.
Long Drop[]
In this game, the player has to click and hold in order to spin while jumping into a giant toilet. Letting go right before landing results in bombing, which gives bonus points.
Uphill Struggle[]
In this game, the player must climb to the top of a wall first while collecting coins, avoiding obstacles and slowing down opponents on the way.

Most of the team names are shuffled from past Total Drama teams.

- Raj's full name Rajesh is revealed, despite his shortened name being more commonly used on the show.
- The merge starts with the Swamp Walk.
- However, the merge is called "All Vs. All."
- A double elimination happens after Long Drop.
- The final challenge features the final four competing for the win, more than in any finale in Total Drama's history.
- In spite of Drone of Despair being used as the elimination exit during the season, both Boat of Losers and Flush of Shame (only in Long Drop) make an appearance instead.
- Most of the team names are shuffled from past Total Drama teams, as mentioned above.
- The full names are based on the Screaming Gophers, Toxic Rats, and Villainous Vultures.
- Various parts of other past team names are the Ferocious part of Ferocious Trout (or Wâneyihtam Maskwak's original name, the Ferocious Tigers), the Mutant part of the Mutant Maggots, the Bass part of the Killer Bass, the Hamsters part of the Heroic Hamsters, and the Frogs part of the Frogs of Death.
- Some of the interactions listed under the contestants' stats don't correspond with canon.
- Wayne's enemy is listed as Damien, even though they don't interact in the show. Also, when Wayne later interacts with Damien the following season, he lists him as his second best friend after Raj.
- Bowie for some reason has his enemy listed as Zee despite not having any major conflict with him, other than requesting a revote to eliminate Zee in Paddle Field Earth because of Zee's stupidity.
- In a similar vein, the eliminated contestants will always be angry if the player's character wins. This happens even if their canon relationship on the show suggests they should be cheering instead. For example, Raj can be mad that his boyfriend won, which is even more jarring, considering the fact that he was rooting for him to win.
Goofs[]
- Chris is missing his cleft chin on the game's title screen.
- Emma is missing the outline between her hair and neck in multiple game assets.
- Bowie is missing his pearl necklace in multiple game assets.
- If the player clicks the “Bye Bye” button immediately after the screen switches to the Boat of Losers, Chris will stay on the screen, rather than vanishing.
- If one is eliminated during Long Drop and quits to the main menu whilst at the Dock of Shame, you can go back to your save and click on Uphill Struggle to go to the final level. However, instead of seeing your character and three other opponents, you will only see the background for the wall and the pause button.
