Things get heated up between two finalists after the elimination of one's love interest. The finalists are reunited with the eliminated contestants, and all but one are given the chance to help whichever finalist they want to win the most. One finalist, despite taking the competition less seriously than the other two, is the most supported because of his kind personality, while one finalist is reluctantly cheered on for the sake of ensuring the one they despise lost. Two of the finalists engage in an intense race for first. In the end, however, it is the underdog of the finale who ends up winning.
Plot[]
The episode starts with Caleb telling Julia that he'll make her pay for using Damien's idol to send Priya home. Julia taunts him saying that he should just give up now. Wayne pretends to be mad at Julia to join in the argument. Just at that moment, Chris comes in and tells Wayne to save his anger for today’s most thrilling challenge, as it’s the big finale and Chef tells the three finalists that one of them takes home the ultimate prize: One million dollars, Caleb cheers, while Julia said that the million dollars is already hers, while Wayne compliments the canoe.

Chris announces that before they get started, he has a surprise in store for the three finalists. And that’s when they all heard a loud foghorn noise and see the previously eliminated contestants on a yacht (except Scary Girl). Chef announces that they’re back to help the finalists with the challenge. Chase water skis while holding the camera. Chef tells the finalists that they’ll be divided up and place into teams. The yacht makes it to shore, causing Ripper to fall off the boat and Chase collides into the ship. Julia asked if they get to pick who’s on their team or did Chris turned it into some kind of annoying game and Chef explains that the returning contestants got to pick which of the three finalists they like the most. Chris tells them that some of them might have less teammates than others, much to Julia’s chagrin as everyone angrily glared at her. Wayne wonders if Raj chooses him, to which his buddy said that he did, relieving Wayne to the point where he said that he was worried there for a second. And Chris wonders if he did. Anyways, Chris tells the final 3 to meet their teams.

Chris announces that this is a three-part challenge. The first part of the challenge is "Mother of Wagons", the three finalists have to pull their team wagon to the top of the hill. Wayne thought it was one with rainbow and butterflies, until Chris was referring to a mountain, much to Wayne’s chagrin. Chef announces that the next part of the challenge is the "Drop Down of Comeuppance", the finalists have to carefully walk across a tightrope over a gorge, if they fall into the water, they have to start over. Chris announces that if they reached the other side, they’ll make it to the third and final part of the challenge, "The Gilding Fright", the finalists must glide their way to the finish line at the docks and the first person to make it is the winner. Chris tells the finalists to grab a wagon and get ready to pull their team up the hill. Caleb asked if their team is going to help them pull the wagons, but Chef tells them that their teams must stay in the wagon while they pull them, much to Wayne and Caleb’s chagrin and Julia and MK’s excitement.

Chris informs the finalists that there will be distractions along the path to the hill and tells them to try to ignore them. Chris sounds the airhorn and the three finalists push their team's wagon, while their teammates cheer as they enjoy the ride.
MK took notice of the distractions like pizza, ice cream and the phones and asked Julia about it. But Julia dismisses it as her mind was focused on winning, MK tells her that she hasn’t texted social media in days. Priya cheers Caleb on and tells him that he’s doing so great and wonders what would be even better and Caleb answers if he was in first place and Priya tells him that they’re such a good team, and Caleb agrees and Priya asked if he could go faster.
As Wayne struggles to pull his team’s wagon, Chef, through video camera by a drone, tells him to wait and not to move unless the whole team is in the wagon. Wayne is surprised and asks his team who they’re missing. Raj isn’t sure who as the others turn and see Zee having pizza that was part of the distractions. Bowie says there’s no time for that, but surprised to see Wayne joining in for the pizza and excitedly shouts “Pizza party!” Axel says Wayne will lose.
MK tells Julia to mush and calls her a donkey while making donkey noises, causing Julia to tell her that if it’s supposed to be motivating, it’s not working. MK tells her that they made it to the top. Chris welcomes Julia to the second part of the challenge and explains that just for fun, they added several deadly creatures to the water below, like a bear, a crocodile, a goose and the raptor that Julia insulted last season using an inflatable inner tube, to which MK remarks, "Brutal!", Chris explains that to make the finalists fall in the water, their team will shoot them with a t-shirt cannon. Chef tells them that the teams have not showed up yet. Julia carefully makes her way across the tightrope. MK cheers Julia on, while the latter tells the former that she’s concentrating. Then, MK feels a cool breeze, but little did she know is that Scary Girl is right behind her.

Scary Girl greets MK, startling her. Scary Girl takes notice of MK’s t-shirt cannon and asks if she can hold it, which MK complies with. But, without any warning, Scary Girl takes the cannon and shoots Julia, causing her to fall off the high wire and into the water.

Caleb and his team made it to the top of the hill. Chris welcomes them to second part of the challenge and Chef tells them that Julia had been knocked into the gorge and tells Caleb’s teammates to grab a t-shirt cannon and climb up on the ledge. Priya tells Caleb to catch a break at the finish and tells him to get on out there.
Caleb’s teammates cheer for him. MK asked Scary Girl if she can go grab her cannon for a quick second. Scary Girl asked the cannon, but tells her that the cannon refused, much to MK’s displeasure. Priya tells Caleb that he can do this. Caleb wobbles but maintains his balance. Damien tells Caleb not to look down, to which Caleb said that he’s not looking down. Damien tells him that it’s a long drop. Nichelle explains to Caleb that she once walked a tightrope in a movie, the latter asked the former if there are any tips, to which Nichelle said that she’s just saying, causing Caleb to ask her how’s that helpful, to which Nichelle tells Caleb that if she saw her bank account, he wouldn’t be asking this, causing Caleb to lose his balance and fall off the high wire. He was confronted by the crocodile, goose, bear and raptor. Chris announces that Caleb’s in deep water and Julia’s climbing back up to try again. MK tries to take her t-shirt cannon from Scary Girl, which resulting in her knocking Scary Girl into the water. Scary Girl rose up and hissed at the goose, crocodile, bear and raptor, causing all four animals to flee from her. And that lucky break has caused Caleb to climb back up for another attempt.
Meanwhile, Chris and Chef checked on Wayne which he is no longer at the pizza bar, but was now scooped up by the Ice Cream bar. and Chef said it was amazing he made this far. but he's not talking about the show. We saw Wayne's team with Bowie saying that they need to get Wayne back in the game. Raj tries to get Wayne moving, but, he eat Ice Cream with Wayne instead. much to Bowie's chagrin.

Bowie than gets Raj and Wayne to get back in the game with him yelling "GO SNOW OWLS!" with Raj and Wayne doing the Snow Owl's slogan together.

Meanwhile, Julia is carefully making her way across the tightrope and Chris wonders how’s that going to work out. Caleb’s team opens fire on Julia, causing her to get hit, but she maintains her balance.

“ | Does Julia deserve to get blasted off the wire? Yes. Am I just gonna let it happen? No. Buckle up for anarchy! | ” |
MK fights back and shoots Nichelle and Damien, causing Emma and Priya to retaliate and shoot MK. Priya shoots Julia in retaliation for getting her eliminated causing Julia to fall off the high wire and into the water again. She comes up coughing and then, she took notice of the raptor she insulted and tries to swim away from it. But the raptor grabs her by the hair and rips it off, much of MK and the others' horror and causing Chris to gag while looking away, a terrified Chef asked if they can show this on TV. Julia realized that the raptor ripped off a huge chuck of her hair, causing her to get a mullet.

As the raptor eats Julia's hair, Julia furiously grabs the raptor and gives it a powerful punch in a fit of rage, causing the raptor to get hurled into a Rock wall. Chris realized that the horrible new haircut has gave Julia a "power up". Caleb tried to take it slow and easy, until he was taken by surprise by a now enraged Julia. Priya tells Caleb to keep going while she and Millie handle Julia. But Millie misfires and ends up getting hit. Bowie tells Wayne to believe in miracles and don’t stop till they reach the top, but he was reminded by Axel that they made it. Raj tells the others to try to stop Caleb and Julia while he helps Wayne onto the wire. Wayne’s team opens fire, but they ended up hitting Caleb when Julia takes a huge leap to the other side and Chris announces that Julia made it across the high wire, much to everyone's chagrin and MK’s excitement. Then, MK hears something and shoots Zee with the t-shirt cannon, who asked why, to which MK said that he was there.

Julia had reached the third and final part of the challenge, she asked Chris where the gliders are. Chris tells her that all she had to do is donned one of the flying squirrels and ideally soar all the way to the finish.

Wayne slowly makes his way on the high wire, Priya decided to take him out to help Caleb. But Caleb’s team were reluctant to do this, because Wayne’s a nice guy. However, Raj shoots Wayne causing him to fall off the high wire and into the water.

Axel looks through the binoculars and sees Julia winning to everyone's disappointment. Julia realized that no Caleb in sight means that she wins, however, Caleb collides into her, causing them to fall and crash into the trees. Axel witnessed this and Scary Girl find Caleb and Julia’s misfortune funny.

Julia an Caleb took off their suits and Julia is fake crying about the pain. Caleb tries to check and see if she's OK and wonders if she can still walk, but he got kicked instead. Much to Caleb's chagrin. then Chef saw a new dot on the radar. and he saw Wayne flying in his flying squirrel suit. Axel saw it too. Daimen, Nichelle, Emma, Priya and Millie, are so shocked. and Raj cheered.

Caleb and Julia start running, trying to push each other, while Wayne flies. Priya tells Caleb to hurry, Raj cheers Wayne on and MK tells Julia that she got this.

Then Wayne dives down at high speed and catching on fire. and Chef said he tucked tighter than Fort Knox!
Raj cheers. also saying that he's coming in hot. and Bowie replies by saying that he's gonna get really hurt unless Wayne spread out those wings before he reaches the dock! but Zee saying that he's not gonna do that.
Caleb an Julia are still racing, hitting each other. than at the last second as Caleb and Julia jump into the air, Wayne crashes through the dock and becomes the winner of Total Drama Island 2024. Raj, Bowie, Axel and Ripper cheered, but MK was disappointed. And Raj picks up Wayne.

Priya checks on Caleb, as he apologized for messing it up, but they kissed. and Caleb feels like he won. But Julia walks in frustration saying that he didn't.

At the final campfire ceremony, Ripper asks Chris if they still get marshmallows, and Chef gives him a bag of marshmallows. before Chris declares Wayne the million dollar winner, he got interrupted by Ripper who complained about the marshmallows. than Chef shoves the bag in Rippers mouth. THAN he gave Wayne the million dollars. He asks Chris if he could keep the canoe, and Chris agrees, Chef asked Wayne about the plains, and Raj said Wayne could buy a bus for the hockey team, and he said Wayne can save some of the money for collage, but Chef tells Wayne that maybe he can buy two buses. Wayne knew it would be an insult, but then he realizes that it will be a great idea. that means the Hockey Bros will go anywhere twice as fast and Chris signs off the final episode of the Season.

General[]
- This is the second finale of the franchise to feature only one ending, the first being Magma Cum Laude.
- According to Terry McGurrin, the episode was recorded a few weeks before June 18, 2023. By that date, however, some pickup lines for the episode had to be recorded, which allowed McGurrin to meet Brandon Michael Arrington in person for the first time as they recorded some dialogue for Chris and Bowie respectively.
- This is the third finale in the main series to feature three contestants (fourth if one counts the spin-off). Unlike the previous finales however, no contestants are eliminated halfway, and all three must reach the finish line.
- In a unique twist of the running gag of characters losing their hair, Julia only loses part of her hair instead of becoming completely bald.
- Wayne is not presented with the final marshmallow, unlike Priya back in Magma Cum Laude.
- Caleb's supporters consist of all of the members of Team Rat Face with the only exception of Axel and Zee.
- Similarly, all the males on Wayne's team (except Zee) were on Team Skunk Butt.
- Damien is Caleb's only male supporter, while Axel is Wayne's only female supporter.
- Priya is the only one out of Caleb's supporters to give him actual support (while everyone else picked him for their hatred for Julia).
- Wayne has a different icon in this episode than all of the others. Previous episodes give his icon a determined smile, with his eyes squinting and mouth closed. This episode gives Wayne's icon a wide-eyed smile with his eyebrows raised and mouth open.
- This episode currently holds the record with the most contestants using the Confessional at the same time, with seven (Axel, Bowie, Chase, Raj, Ripper, Wayne, and Zee).
- This is also the second episode in which more than two contestants are seen using the confessional simultaneously. The first is I See London... with Duncan, Gwen, and Tyler.

- Chase water skis behind the yacht when he returns, just like how he did in his introduction in Meet the Victims.
- In addition, Caleb making it to this episode proves that Bowie's motivations to vote him off in that episode were right in that Caleb looked unbeatable and could become a threat in the long run.
- MK also recalls Chris taking away Julia's phones in said episode.
- Coincidentally, the confessional camera has been damaged in both the first and last episodes of this season.
- Damien mentions Julia stealing his immunity idol in Circling the Drain.
