- 137. Avalanche (雪崩, Nadare?): Sanji sacrifices himself to save Luffy and Nami from the avalanche and ends up unconscious.
- 138. The Summit (頂上, Chōjō?): Luffy is attacked by Wapol and his men, but is saved by some lapahns. After a hard trek, he eventually gets Nami and Sanji all the way to the summit.
- 139. Introducing Tony Tony Chopper (トニートニー・チョッパー登場, Tonī Tonī Choppā Tōjō?): Nami regains consciousness after being treated by Doctor Kureha, and meets the doctor as well as her assistant, a talking reindeer named Tony Tony Chopper.
- 140. The Castle of Snow (雪の住む城, Yuki no Sumu Shiro?): As Luffy and Sanji try to eat Chopper, Kureha tells Nami about the reindeer's past.
- 141. Quack Doctor (ヤブ医者, Yabu Isha?): Wapol comes to Drum Castle to retake it, but Kureha and Chopper defend it in honor of their deceased friend Hiriluk.
- 142. Skull and Sakura (ドクロと桜, Dokuro to Sakura?): It is shown how Chopper came to know Hiriluk.
- 143. Clumsy (不器用, Bukiyō?): After learning that Hiriluk had little time left to live, Chopper went searching for a cure.
- 144. Snowy Tale (雪物語, Yuki Monogatari?): Hiriluk consumed the mushroom Chopper found for him and went off to treat the sick doctors, but Chopper then learned from Kureha that the mushroom was poisonous.
- 145. Inherited Will (受け継がれる意志, Uketsugareru Ishi?): Hiriluk was trapped by Wapol's forces, but committed suicide. Chopper then joined Kureha to learn how to become a doctor.
