The cover illustration is split into three levels. On the top, from right to left, are Toko, Komurasaki, and Kaidou (in his dragon form). The middle displays Luffy and Kid arguing, and on the bottom are Robin, Franky, Usopp, and Zoro, being shown with the faces they made after hearing the news of Luffy's defeat and capture.

Author's Note

Author's Notes "Forty-eight browns and 100 grays!!" This is a figurative saying that indicates there are a multitude of shades of brown and gray in Japan. In the old days, the common people were instructed not to wear flashy colors, and so they developed a wealth of plain colors to use instead. I bet they wish they could have worn all kinds of rainbow hues though. Well, the Wano Arc is going to be wild and flashy! Can't wait to see this animated too!! Let volume 92 beginneth!!!

• 922. Governor-General Kaidou of the Beasts Pirates (百獣海賊団総督 カイドウ, Hyakujū Kaizokudan Sōtoku Kaidō^?): A drunk Kaidou hunts Luffy and Law, and destroys the ruins of Oden Castle before being attacked by Luffy.
• 923. Yonko Kaidou vs. Luffy (四皇カイドウvs.バーサスルフィ, Yonkō Kaidō Bāsasu Rufi^?): After discovering that Kaidou has also attacked Tama, Luffy attacks Kaidou with his most powerful moves, but is swiftly defeated by the Emperor.
• 924. Ha (は, Ha^?): Wano receives news of Luffy's defeat as he is brought to a prison in Udon.
• 925. Blank (ブランク, Buranku^?): Gecko Moria invades Blackbeard's home island, only to find out that the Blackbeard Pirates have killed Absalom and taken his Devil Fruit power. Back on Wano, the alliance finds Shutenmaru, who once served under Oden, but he refuses to help the Kouzuki Family again.
• 926. The Prisoner Mine (囚人採掘場, Shūjin Saikutsujō^?): The Straw Hats work on their recruitment and espionage efforts in the Flower Capital. Meanwhile, Luffy and Eustass Kid excel with their prison's superhuman workload.
• 927. O-Toko the Kamuro (禿のおトコ, Kamuro no O-Toko^?): Sanji sets up a soba stand in the Flower Capital and beats up some government-backed yakuza gangsters who threaten it.
• 928. The Oiran Komurasaki Appears (花魁小紫登場, Oiran Komurasaki Tōjō^?): The oiran Komurasaki heads to the shogun Orochi's banquet, and is briefly confronted by some men whom she swindled.
• 929. Shogun of Wano Country, Kurozumi Orochi (ワノ国将軍 黒炭オロチ, Wano Kuni Shōgun - Kurozumi Orochi^?): Franky looks for the blueprints to Kaidou's mansion. Meanwhile, Orochi meets with CP-0 and demands that they give him Vegapunk if they want access to Wano's weapons again.
• 930. Ebisu Town (えびす町, Ebisu-chō^?): The Big Mom Pirates try to enter Wano, but are stopped by King the All-Star. Meanwhile, the Headliner Page One confronts Sanji on the orders of the gangsters Sanji beat up.
• 931. O-Soba Mask (おそばマスク, O-Soba Masuku^?): Sanji dons his Raid Suit to fight Page One. Meanwhile, Robin gets caught snooping in Orochi Castle, and Big Mom washes up on Kuri Beach, having lost all her memories.

• It is revealed the Minatomo from East Blue and the Minatomo from Wano Country are different people and distant relatives. It is also revealed that the former Minatomo is descended from someone originally from Wano.
• What Zoro's swords, Wado Ichimonji, Sandai Kitetsu, and Shusui would look like as humans is shown.
• The favorite and least favorite foods of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet commanders are revealed.
• Nami's appearance at the ages of 40 and 60 in this reality and in one where "things went bad".
