Oh boy, do I have a story for y'all

So today Cabaret was showing for its 50th anniversary in some theaters. TCM has a movie every month and does it through Fathom Events, which my local theater chain gets (this was how I was able to see Men in Black and Spirited Away in theaters amongst other films). So me and my grandmother decided to go see it.

We got in the theater at around 2:54. Fathom Events movies always start exactly at the time said, and this was starting at 3. I noticed the advertisements were different than the typical ones, but I thought it was just a change-up or doing something different.

It got to be 3, and then there was a thing that said "Silence your device + Enjoy the movie." This proceeded to play for ~15 minutes. Suddenly then, about 15 seconds of Thor: Love and Thunder played before the logo for a dish recording thing popped up. This would be for ~15 minutes.

At around 3:30, the technicians started going through the recordings, amongst them I noticed one for a One Piece movie. After around 10 minutes, a man came out saying the recording of Cabaret didn't record, and that everyone would be getting 2 tickets for any movie they wanted at any time in the future, so in the end, I got 4 tickets.

All in all, it was a crazy experience. I'm sad I won't be able to catch it now, but now I'm going to finish season 3 of Breaking Bad (I have 3 episodes left), so be on the lookout for that!!!
