The Tick is a creature found primarily around the Stump, though do appear in other areas. They are extremely similar to Lawn Mites and their variants, being a very annoying nuisances in certain areas.

Behavior[]

Ticks are similar to Lawn Mites in that they gather in large swarms and simply wander their respective areas. They have a jump attack similar to the Lawn Mite, but lack any projectile attack like the Infected Mite or Dust Mite. The attack also has minimal life steal like the mosquito does.

Interaction with Player[]

Ticks are aggressive to the player on sight and will attempt to kill them when spotted.

Interaction With Other Creatures[]

Ticks, much like other mite variants, are aggressive to Aphids and Weevils and will normally kill them if the creatures happen to wander too close. They are neutral to other creatures.

Advanced Loot Table[]

This is a more advanced covering of the loot-table of Tick. Each item has an independent chance and count, in which the chance is the chance it can drop and the count is the amount of items that have that chance. If a count larger than 1 is in one section, then each item has an independent chance from one another (EX: Instead of getting say 2 of a resource, you can get 1 with a 70% chance and another with an additional 70% chance). In terms of Stealing, it can take one item from every section of the loot table, so even if a item count is say 5, the player will only steal one from that section.

Creature Loot Tables also tend to have large amounts of 1% items, which is intended to make stealing more rare items harder, as the player is more likely to steal the large amounts of 1% items than a singular 50% item.

Note: For consistency sake, all duplicate categories have a multiplier next to them, but function as unique loot types when say using Stealing.

Strategy[]

Ticks are relatively simple to block, having the same attack all other mite variants have. Getting swarmed by them is the real problem, so keeping distance is recommended to avoid such circumstance. Having upgraded tier 2 or tier 3 armor is recommended. Spicy Coaltana or other spicy weapons can easily destroy ticks.
