Director Schmector is an optional secret boss enemy found below Castle Moldorc in the Mysterious Lab. It is the final boss of the game, and one of the hardest non repeatable bosses. Killing it is required to unlock the good ending and save Dr. Wendell Tully from his raisining.
Boss Fight[]
Phase 1[]
The fight will start once the player presses the button in the middle of the room after a long line of dialogue from Director Schmector after he says the line "Farewell, my little rats." The fight at the start is very similar to the Assistant Manager fight, with it firing a charged static ball, a quick shot of one, and also having the added attack of the ARC.Rs close range shock attack. All of these attacks inflict Microstamina, which decreases the players stamina regen time.
Phase 2[]
At 80% health, Director Schmector will say the line "Getting tired? Losing the will to live? Let me give you a little-- jolt!-- of energy." showing the beginning of phase 2. In this phase, he still keeps all of his attacks from phase 1, but can now do a charged telegraph similar to the Assistant Manager, where he will charge a blue spark in its blaster cannon and slam it to the ground. Once it hits the ground, it will activate the turrets in the corners and the 4 on the front wall of the room to shoot a static charge. The 4 in the corners will be much longer and last much longer, while the front wall ones will fire in a vertical line shape, and disappear very quickly. It will activate this attack multiple times in this phase. All the static charges inflict Microstamina.
Phase 3[]
At 60% health, Director Schmector will say the line "Let me show you my latest invention: PROJECT O.R.C" showing the beginning of phase 3. In this phase, it will stop using the static charge turret attack and replaces it with a new attack. The telegraph spark is now orange, and when he slams it to the ground, 2 O.R.C Weaver Jrs will spawn from the 2 hatches located on the back wall and attack the player. These spiders don't have a limit, and will continue to spawn whenever he uses the orange spark. He will still use all his normal attacks in this phase.
Phase 4[]
At 40% health, Director Schmector will say the line "Ominent is the future! And I am it's architect! Cue green lasers!" showing the beginning of phase 4. In this phase, its telegraph to its special attack will look the same, but will activate 2 pairs of green lasers rather then spawning O.R.C Weaver Jrs. Its green lasers are in 2 pairs, one stationary pair near the door, and another pair that bounces across the room in a zig zag motion across the wall. The move opposite of each other, meaning the player needs to predict their position in order to duck/jump over it. He will still use all his normal attacks in this phase.
Phase 5[]
At 20% health, Director Schmector will say the line "Impossible! Activate all emergency procedures!" showing the beginning of the final phase. In this phase, he can activate every special attack from the last phases, including the static charge turrets, O.R.C Weaver Jr summons, and green lasers. The O.R.C Weaver Jr summons and green lasers are hard to differ from eachother due to both their telegraphs having the orange spark in the cannon. They are easy to differ from due to the boss tending to activate the special attacks once the attack is over, so it will spawn O.R.C Weaver Jrs in a green laser or static charge attack or vice versa.
Advanced Loot Table[]
This is a more advanced covering of the loot-table of Director Schmector. Each item has an independent chance and count, in which the chance is the chance it can drop and the count is the amount of items that have that chance. If a count larger than 2 is in one section, then each item has an independent chance from one another (EX: Instead of getting say 1-2 of a resource, you can get 1 with a 70% chance and another with an additional 70% chance). In terms of Stealing, it can take one item from every section of the loot table, so even if a item count is say 5, the player will only steal one from that section.
Creature Loot Tables also tend to have large amounts of 1% items, which is intended to make stealing more rare items harder, as the player is more likely to steal the large amounts of 1% items than a singular 50% item.
Note: For consistency sake, all duplicate categories have a multiplier next to them, but function as unique loot types when say using Stealing.

Strategy[]
Due to Director Schmector being the final boss of the game, it is a difficult fight for the player. Some tips to make it easier include:
- Using a heavily upgraded Black Ox Hammer or Sour Staff for maximum damage.
- Making the Black Ox Hammer Sour is costly, but more effective.
- The same weapons are viable to deal with the bosses minions.
- The Prod Smacker with Black Ox Armor is also effective for interrupting the bosses more difficult moves.
- Avoid Poison, Gas, or Bleed weapons due to the bosses immunity to it.
- Bring a Ladybird Shield or Fire Ant Shield to deflect its static charge shots.
- Equip Mithridatism to avoid the off chance an O.R.C. Weaver Jr inflicts Poison.
- Be sure to be wary of the bosses quick shot in the early phases.
- Hiding in the corners under turrets during the Phase 2 special attacks can easily dodge most of the static charged shots.
- Be sure to kill the minions quickly to be sure they don't stack up quickly.
- Stay in the far back in the room during the green lasers phase, as they can't reach that section.
- In the final phase, be sure to prioritize dealing as much damage to the boss before the fight become very hectic.
Story[]
The SPAC.R[]
Director Dalton Schmector appeared to have just been a normal employee of Ominent, but was able to achieve a substantial role in the company by stealing other co-workers ideas as his own, especially Dr. Wendell Tully. Due to this, he has received a much hated reputation in the business, but is still respected none the less. As Wendell was working on his SPAC.R, Schmector never admitted its true value and eventually fires him when the invention fails. He, however, decides to start his own SPAC.R with Ominent, but soon discovers the same rasining syndrome Wendell becomes afflicted by. He also worked on another project, Project O.R.C., being a mind control device that can be inputted into simple creatures. Schmector eventually falls on the hypothesis that adolescents may be somewhat resistant to the effects of raisining. Because of this, he kidnaps 8 known teens and concluding that teens are not only resistant, but immune to rasining due to intense hormonal growth. He presumably kills the first batch of kids and orders the other 4 to be terminated. However, two scientists mutinied against Schmector by secretly rescuing the kids and delivering them to Wendell's backyard. Schmector still can't solve a major problem about the SPAC.R that Wendell did, and this is regulating the "Embiggening Process".
Wendell's Backyard[]
Schmector appears to send multiple shrunken Ominent workers into Wendell's backyard to spy on him and take photographs. Their reason for being there is unknown, unless if it was against their will as possible punishment for freeing the 4 teens. All of the Ominent Scientists eventually die, leaving Schmector to set up a secret lab below Wendell's Castle Moldorc Playset. This lab appears to serve two purposes: to spy on Wendell and to test Project O.R.C. on the insects in his yard. He ends up creating an army of O.R.C. insects hooked up to biomonitors in small pods inside this lab.
Events In-Game[]
Schmector appears to realize when the player saves Wendell, since he releases some of his O.R.C. Creatures across the yard to find Wendell and kill him. It also appears that during the JavaMatic event, he sends the full force of his army to destroy the JavaMatic, in order to stop Wendell and the teens from revealing his illegal activities.
Bad Ending[]
If the player and Wendell never confront Schmector in the Mysterious Lab, he eventually appears to solve the embiggening process, and becomes famous for his invention of the SPAC.R. Wendell gets no credit and remains a raisin, and the teens lose in a court case to take down Ominent, and are harassed for faking their disappearance.
Good Ending[]
If the player confronts Director Schmector's drone in the Mysterious Lab, they retrieve a data disk holding the files of all the experiments Schmector has done, including the teen experimentation. With this evidence, they are able to uncover the Ominent conspiracy in a court case and Schmector is arrested for his crimes. Wendell gets full credit for his SPAC.R instead of Schmector.
Trivia[]
- Director Schmector has multiple unused voice lines, most of which include taunts that likely would've passively been said by him as well as possible unused or older versions of phase transitions.
- On the bottom-left side of the screen on the boss, it says the words "Wait a minute why are you reading this."
