So I actually didn't read too much non-H/D Harry Potter fic this month. :/

Most of my other pairing efforts went into proofing for hp-nextgen-fest, and I cannot wait to share all of the fabulous submissions with ya'll, but we still have another couple of days. ;)

Oh this fic is wonderful! I loved this sexy, sharp-edged Scorpius, and an Albus who's fed up and just wants to get fucked. Lovely ending, with potential for more between these two.

Really sexy and wonderfully written fic! I loved the dual POVs, and how we really get a sense for both of them and how they feel about each other. The lack of dialogue works gorgeously here.

Super lovely drawing of bare-chested Sirius covered in shiny things trying to befriend a Magpie. I'm not sure what it is exactly about this piece, but it feels so fitting for Sirius, and the quiet tone of it is really beautiful.

Oh this fic is just so much fun! Draco and Harry's voices here were great and the whole thing was just so funny and charming. The concept of the tooth fairies was really clever, and I liked the incorporation of veela!Draco. Awesome build-up, and some super great sexy times!

Really lovely fic with Harry running into Draco while at the playground with his children, and them feeling an instantaneous connection. I really liked Harry's headspace here, his confusion about his attraction to Draco, his strained marriage with Ginny, his love for his children. The relationship development between Draco and Harry is a little fast, but the chemistry between them is scorching. Satisfying ending, and the whole thing felt very believable with both it's ups and downs.

Title: Not Less of Love

Wonderful eighth year veela!fic. I loved the connection between Draco and Harry, and I thought Draco's Veela instincts were wonderfully described. I liked that there were some bumps along the way to mate-hood, and the ending was lovely.

Super hot a/b/o fic that starts during sixth year and then goes slightly AU. Loved the way the omega!verse dynamics were incorporated into the HP world, and the discussions about alpha/omega dynamics and the laws/views on everything were really interesting. Really enjoyed the connection between Harry and Draco, and the sex was seriously, seriously hot.

hp_silencio is such an awesomely creative fest! I love the challenge aspect and how it pushes writers to create something a bit outside of their comfort zone. The authors have to experiment with how to say the things they want to convey without actually saying them and the results are often very moving and powerful. There were a ton of different pairings and ratings to choose from this year and I just picked my three favorites with three different pairings. But I absolutely recommend checking out this year's masterlist and seeing what else has been written.
