"Grown Ups Island" is the first segment of the eighth episode, as well as the season three premiere, of the Disney Channel series Chibiverse.
Synopsis[]
When a scientist's breadcrumb falls onto the Chibiverse and creates a new island, the Chibi grown-ups claim it all for themselves to the Chibi children's dismay! But Cricket Green, Kiff Chatterley, and Tater Ramirez Humphrey vow to make their way onto "Grown Ups Island" no matter what it takes!
Summary[]
Scientist Gary analyzes the Chibiverse as the children start driving the grown-ups crazy with their antics, when he accidentally drops a crumb, from a sandwich he was eating, that lands in the Chibiverse Bay, which forms a new island. The children want to use it for various activities, but the grown-ups claim for themselves, who name it "Grown Ups Island", much to the kids' chagrin. Cricket Green, Kiff Chatterley, and Tater Ramirez Humphrey, believing that the grown-ups are having all kinds of fun, make a plan to crash Grown Ups Island, Cricket uses his chicken launcher, Kiff tries making a zip line and Tater summons her Holographic Vision Tiger to take everyone over, but Vasquez outsmarts them each time.
Kiff then gets the idea from BeBe & CeCe Proud playing with the balloons to use the clouds and keep them hidden from Vasquez, so they attach balloons to Bill Green's lawn mower and fly it through the clouds and over the island, but Cricket rushes their descent by cutting all of the balloons at once, causing them to crash into Grown Ups Island. After getting caught, they accuse the grown-ups of hogging all of the fun for themselves, only to find that their fun mostly consists of simple grown-up activities and responsibilities, such as washing dishes, doing taxes, and taking naps, leaving the children disappointed. Suga Mama, Hop Pop, and Bill Green explain that while what they do may be lame to kids, it's everything they ever wanted, being able to do what they need to do as adults, while also recognizing all of the fun stuff the kids did just to get onto the island, they help the kids realize that they don't need an island to have fun and that they can easily make their own fun back home. They insist that they return to the mainland to have their own fun unless they want to stick around for sudoku, which disgusts the children enough to leave. After the kids leave, the adults reveal that it was all just a ruse, and it really is everything the kids dreamed of.
Later on, Gary recaps the events of the episode, satisfied that everything has returned to normal, until he accidentally drops a sprinkle from a cupcake he was eating, that lands next to Grown Ups Island, creating a new island, much to the kids' delight and Scientist #2 chides him for repeatedly eating over the Chibiverse.
