Jerusalem 1973

Ashraf Marwan is a controversial figure within Israel’s intelligence community. Some regard him as Israel’s best ever Arab spy, others see him as an Egyptian spymaster who misled the Israeli military ahead of the 1973 war that was a military disaster for the Jewish state. In June 2007, Marwan ‘fell’ from the balcony of his London house. His wife and many commentators accused the Mossad of the assassination.

Marwan was born in 1944 to an influential Egyptian family. At the age of 21 he married Mona Nasser, president Gamal Abdel Nasser’s second daughter and secured his place in the corridors of power in 1960s Cairo.

Following its humiliating defeat in the 1967 war, Egypt started to prepare its military to take back the Sinai peninsula. Marwan was privy to Egypt’s best-kept secrets; its war plans, detailed accounts of military exercises, original documentation of Egypt’s arms deals with the Soviet Union and other countries, military tactics, the minutes from meetings of the high command, transcripts of Sadat’s private conversations with world leaders, etc. All of that allowed him to provide Israel with invaluable information about the coming war.

The intelligence that Marwan provided to the Mossad made its way to the desks of Israeli political and military leaders and shaped Israel’s so-called post ‘67 strategic ‘concept’ – the belief that Egypt’s Sadat wouldn’t launch a war against Israel unless his minimum requirements were fulfilled. Without long-range attack aircraft and long range Scud missiles, Israel was made to believe, Egypt could not overcome Israeli air superiority and would not launch a war.

The reports that Marwan provided to Israel contained precious information that, although accurate, systematically contributed to Israel’s misconceptions about Egypt’s aspirations, plans and capabilities.

In April 1973, Marwan persuaded the Mossad that Egypt planned an attack on Israel in mid-May. As a result, Israel raised its military to red alert, but that May war never happened. In late September, Marwan once again convinced the Mossad of an Egyptian plan for an attack, but this time the Mossad had lost its credibility and until the last minute, the IDF military chiefs treated Marwan’s information with suspicion. They basically ignored him.

A few hours before it began, Marwan provided the Mossad with a final warning that a war was about to launch. Late on the 5th of October 1973, Tzvi Zamir, the head of the Mossad, met Marwan in London and learned that a war would start the following day at 6pm. The war did indeed start the next day, four hours earlier than predicted. The 1973 war is considered by Israel to be its most humiliating and scandalous military blunder. Israel was totally unprepared. IDF battalions on the frontline were exposed to a full-on Egyptian and Syrian assault. They were wiped out within hours. Some rightly argue that it is only because the Egyptian and Syrian armies had limited plans in terms of territorial gains that Israel survived this war militarily and exists to this day. Most Israeli military commentators agree that it was not the IDF generals who saved the country but the foot soldiers on the ground who fought heroically with their backs to the wall.

General Eli Zeira, then Director of Israeli military intelligence is regarded as a major contributor to the 1973 military blunder. Zeira claims that it was Marwan’s earlier misleading information that led to Israel’s ‘misconception’ of Egypt’s true intentions. Zeira argues that Marwan was a ‘double agent’ or more rightly, a skilful Egyptian spymaster, who brilliantly managed to deceive the Israelis into a delusional ‘misconception’ of the conflict. Those who believe that Marwan was assassinated by the Mossad tend to accept General Zeira’s opinion.

Kyiv 2022

For months and months America, Britain and NATO warned the Ukrainians that Russia was planning a war. The Americans in particular have made it clear that they were privy to information, that although it couldn’t be shared with the general public, indicated that Putin was planning an imminent attack. Naturally, not many people bought into these repeated American warnings: by now American and British intelligence have been involved in too many blunders and spectacular lies (among them phantasmic WMD in Iraq and chemical attacks in Syria) that no one, including the Ukrainians, has taken these military institutions seriously. It was also evident that, even more than Ukraine or Russia wanted or needed a military conflict, it was Washington and London that desired one. Ukraine has become an energy hub following the discovery of large reserves of gas and oil within its territory. The West saw it as an alternative to Russia as the major gas supplier to Europe.

As happened with Marwan in 1973, someone ‘helped’ the Pentagon to build a ‘concept’ of an ‘imaginary Russian campaign.’ In American’s delusional war plan, Putin would capture Ukraine’s Russian speaking regions in the East and might also attempt to seize some ground in the south to create a land passage to Crimea. This war would have come to an end within a short time as its military objectives were limited. Ukraine would accept the Russian territorial gains as it would allow Ukraine to rid itself of its most problematic and contested regions. Russia would be condemned but, in this scenario, when peace prevails, Ukraine would be able to join the EU and maybe even NATO and most important, become Europe’s prime energy supplier.

ORDER IT NOW

This ‘concept’ of a war may well have been induced by a Putin / Marwan figure. It misled the Americans and the Brits to build a completely wrong strategic and geopolitical vision. The Ukrainian military was foolish enough to follow the Pentagon’s intelligence scenario and deployed its elite units to the East. Those units prepared themselves for an express war on some disputed but defined territories. But that wasn’t the war that happened. Instead what transpired was tragic for Ukraine and its military. Just before the 24 February Russian invasion, it became clear that Russia had extended its military drills to Belarus. Days later, Russia launched its military campaign. Russia’s main effort was launched from Belarus and it was aimed at the Ukrainian capital Kyiv not the Eastern regions as predicted. In a simple move, the Russian Army basically managed to cut off most of the Ukrainian Army far from the capital and with no supply routes or logistical support from the West.

By attacking Ukraine from Belarus, the Russians copied Hitler’s Belgium manoeuvre. In 1940 the French waited for the German Panzers on the vastly fortified Maginot Line. But the Germans bypassed the Maginot Line and went into France through Belgium and headed straight to France’s soft belly and Paris. That left the French military stranded at the Maginot line and exposed from the rear as the enemy was then behind them. It would have helped if American, British and Ukrainian generals had spent some time learning military history or even watching some relevant Youtube history channel documentaries.

Why did these military leaders badly misjudge Putin’s plans and Russian strategic objectives? As happened with Marwan in 1973, someone or something planted into American, British and Ukrainian decision makers a complete misconception of Russian intentions. This blunder has caused a total disaster for Ukraine, its people, its military and the integrity of its land. It was their complete shock at the Russian decision to invade Ukraine from Belarus that led the West into panic and rapid escalation in sanctions and language. For the West the situation is hopeless. Even if NATO would have liked to support the Ukrainian forces; it literally can’t. The European nations who promised to supply military equipment to the Ukrainian army can’t do so as the Ukrainian army is cut off in the East. If you don’t believe this, ask a simple question. How was it possible that the 60 km Russian convoy was stopped, standing still like sitting ducks for 10 days without being attacked? The answer is simple. The Ukrainian army is unable to engage in a concentrated military effort. It is limited in its capacity to attack Russian logistics and it certainly cannot launch a counter attack. Misconception comes with a price, especially when your leaders engage in relentless warmongering. Yet, as in Israel 1973, in Ukraine in 2022 it isn’t the generals or the mini oligarch -actor/president who can save the situation. It is the resilient heroic fighters on the ground. They don’t seem to give up and fight to their last drop of blood.

Moscow 2022

The Russian military ‘achieved’ its goals in just two days: it cut out the Ukrainian army and dismantled its ability to defend the country, let alone secure the area around the capital. The Ukrainian air force lost its control over Ukraine’s skies on the first day. Command centres around the country were destroyed. Despite these losses, despite its clear military superiority, the Russians haven’t won the war, far from it, a decisive victory isn’t on the horizon.

The Russian war planners fell into the same trap as their counterparts in NATO and Ukraine. They also held a delusional misconception of Ukraine. The Russians overestimated the support they would find amongst the population and Ukraine’s political class. They grossly underestimated the Ukrainians’ will to defend their land. They underestimated the Western reaction to their campaign. They grossly underestimated the world animosity towards Russia, its leaders, its Israeli/Russian oligarchs. They couldn’t envisage the present solidarity with the Ukrainians and their resistance. They certainly couldn’t see Zelensky, the actor, morphing into a Che Guevara character: in their eyes and for good reason, he was seen as a comical character and a political puppet. The modernist old fashioned Russian generals didn’t understand that in a world shaped by Tik Tok and Zuckerbergs, all it takes for a male actor who was dancing in high heeled shoes to become an iconic ‘freedom fighter’ is simply a matter of makeup and costume.

The Russian were mistaken on most fronts. But being clumsy, heavy, miscalculated and delusional is not new to Russia, it may even be engraved in the Russian operational mode. Throughout its history Russia was caught sluggish and dysfunctional in battles against enemies who were superior technologically, tactically and spiritually. Remember that at one point the Soviets almost lost their capital to the 3rd Reich. Their allies (USA and Britain) betrayed them, but despite that, it was the USSR that won the big war and chased the defeated German army all the way from Stalingrad to Berlin. The Russians are somehow resilient, or at least used to be.

I Misconceive Therefore I am

Being trapped in misconception is probably inherent to the human condition. Projecting our own faults on others is often the means by which we bring disasters on ourselves. But in 2022, the Ashraf Marwans do not stop at just manipulating leaders or generals. In the world we happen to find ourselves in, the incessant duplicity is designed to enslave us all. We are repeatedly trained to be tormented by ‘global disasters’ from ‘Climate’, to ‘Covid’ to ‘Russia’ to Energy, to the Economy and back again. We are kept in a state of constant collective hysteria, united against our (global) ‘public enemy’ at the time. Unsurprisingly, this ‘universal’ panic mode is set to make the rich richer.

It seems to me as if those who detected the deep propagandist misconception that that was pushed by Fauci, Bill Gates and Bourla also tend to be suspicious about the continuum between Biden (the father and the son), Johnson and Zelensky.

It is not a matter of Left or Right, it isn’t a matter of education or cognitive ability. It is a clear division between Jerusalem and Athens that is now dividing us and may as well leading us into a global civil war. Jerusalem within that context (as defined by Leo Strauss), is the city of revelation. It sustains itself by maintaining tyranny of correctness, legalism (Torah and Mitzvoth). Athens, on the contrary, is the birthplace of (Western) philosophy. It is all about skepticism, the ability to think for yourself. While Chomsky and Dershowitz tell you what to say – what is right and who is wrong, Kant and Heidegger teach you how to figure out things by yourself.

To survive the Marwans and defeat misconceptions, scepticism isn’t just a tool, it is an existential necessity. Yet such scepticism is almost impossible to maintain, it entails constant regression and a consistent questioning of your most elementary thoughts and findings.

ORDER IT NOW

Jerusalem is winning, at least at the moment, and for obvious reasons. It is easier to train people to act like sheep and be politically correct than to encourage people to think for themselves and allow for unpredictable results. Accordingly, the survival of the skeptic is a lone war that resembles heroic insurgency, it is a guerrilla battle.

‘

Maybe it is time to accept that the true meaning of globalisation is the acceptance that there is no refuge, no safe haven, no escape. Even when you see it all, the lies, the propaganda, the tyranny of correctness, Jerusalem and the decline of the West as we know it, you are still locked together with the rest of humanity in a vessel spiralling down to impact.

Excellent essay and insight, Gilad. (It really is wonderful to have you back!)

I feel there’s a small, but none-the-less significan part of the picture you may be overlooking though.

    You say:

Even when you see it all, the lies, the propaganda, the tyranny of correctness, Jerusalem and the decline of the West as we know it, you are still locked together with the rest of humanity in a vessel spiralling down to impact.

But this may not be all! Throughout this new milenium, young as it is, a tiny subset of mankind has, with determined effort, forged self-reliant, independant, autonimous and loosly networked communities all across the Western world.

To be sure, we are still dependant on the “economy stupid” for some basic needs – our generators and chainsaws do still run on petrol, as do our cars and tractors. But the fake pandemic and lockdowns encouraged us to double-down on developing our independance, and to use what financial resources we have to buy in the additional tools and resources that should benefit us in the tough years to come.

Additionally, our numbers have swelled thanks to the obvious fascistic tendancies of the globalists calling the geopolitical shots and their henchmen controling Western governments.

We have the resources to survive and to reestablish a more wholistic aproach to community/family economics.

All of that to say, we are far from finished as a free species. Our chances may be small, but they are real!

    Join us! Make us stronger.

Those of you who remain in the cities and towns will doubless be caught in the “globcap” net, but those of you who take the small window of oportunity to get out may end your days as free men and women… free to say “no” to Schwab, Gates, and the kleptocracy they represent.

Buy yourself a motorhome or caravan or equivolent, a couple of solar pabels and batteries (plus charge controler and invertor, of course), a woodburner stove, an axe… and head for the hills with as many of your friends and family as you can persuade.

If you are on the British mainland, head for the less densely populated Highlands or parts of the European continent, either to existing communities or to start your own. (Trust me, you will surely meet others on that road to freedom!)

Gilad, you have a place on our mountain in Portugal should you ever wish to join us. (My “burner” address is kazz67 @ gmail . com)

Above all, do not dispare for the future, for we come to know God when we celebrate life. And God decides our destiny according to our will to Love and rise to lifes challenges abd to transcend shitty karma.

We might still lose to the Jerusalemites, but we will never be defeated.

    With LOVE,
    Kali.

There is another Jerusalem, though, which you have consistently chosen to write as if you had never heard of.
I hope one day it can reach you, and you can reach it. It can reach as much of the world as possible, and be reached by it.
Not the Jerusalem you speak of, nor Athens, but this other Jerusalem, is the realm of truth, light, and peace.

  3. Wonderful article. The last 2 paragraphs sum up the Western condition, which is, apathy. I am so tired of hearing “it is what it is”, I want to spit. When I was in highschool, in NY, boys had to wear ties, Latin German and Spanish language courses were available, along with algebra to trig and calculus and even physics We were actually expected to learn, and when I got out of line a good head slap steered me back And this was a public school.
I guess what I’m pondering is this: has the dumbing down of the education system been responsible for the apathy that is eating us from the inside? It is what it is, is only valid if you do nothing about the ‘is’.

Thanks for a really thought-provoking piece.

There’s legalism and legalism. Scrupulous legalism is arguably the most prominent characteristic of Russian foreign affairs. Kant’s categorical imperative produced a legalism of its own, human rights as a means to perpetual peace. The difference is, Jerusalem-type laws are Jew-supremacist. By contrast, Kant’s categorical imperative is non-discriminatory by definition. That means that under the consensus definition of human rights, peace, and development, the sphere of orthodoxy is tightly restricted. And the purpose of any institutionalized orthodoxy is protecting humans from an overreaching state.

The Langley-as-Jerusalem death cult is a small minority of the world. It’s easier to see that in the General Assembly than the Security Council, where veto impunity results in phony bullshit lexicoid fiat.

I don’t see the civilizational collapse you do. There’s a very interesting fringy school of history based on Qualitative Comparative Analysis – making the sort of analogies you make, but comprehensively, using boolean logic to enforce consistency and completeness.

    e.g. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12286-020-00450-9

This shows a common pattern of regime collapse based on repression and tightened resource constraints. Repression is failing due to progressive US loss of seigneurage, the resource constraint in this case. That, I think, is what we’re seeing here. It looks like chaos only if you’re consigned to irrelevance in Langley or its satellites.

Anti-Zionists should all be unplugging from the Jewish-dominated networks – financial, information and otherwise, and forming their own communities. Not as a “Benedict Option” but as a way to build bases of support for anti-Zionist activism. Make yourself resistant to “cancellation,” having guys like Trudeau freeze you bank account or get you fired, etc…

Homeschool your own children in your own community. Extract resources from the Jewish system, keep them in your own networks – basically what “the West” tried to do to Russia in the 1990’s (the extraction economy colonial system in general).

Starve the beast and liberate yourself on a community level. Regardless of what happens on a more macro level, it’s both a positive lifestyle move and a necessary first step to more meaningful opposition.

  7. This morning Zelensky addressed the US Congress, introduced by a word-slurring senile Nancy Pelosi. I didn’t view any of his speech but, for kicks, might do so later. Surely, he must have received multiple standing “O’s,” maybe enough to match the 27 or so received by Netanyahu when he addressed Congress in person a few years ago. But all I can think of is the poor Ukrainian people being needlessly led to the slaughter by the West (read: USA), with Zelensky just their puppet. The US war machine will be happy to supply them with weapons until the last Ukrainian fighter is dead. Another thought-provoking piece, Mr. Atzmon!

  8. While I was surprised that Russia actually did attack Ukraine, I don’t think there was much misconception on either side. For at least 15 years, Russia (Putin) has been warning NATO (the US) to stop its expansion, and live up to its commitment not to place troops or weapons closer to Russia. If they failed to do so, Russia would take matters into its own hands.
The owners of the US and NATO got the war they wanted. It was designed to keep Russia out of Europe and collapsing the economies of both Russia and Europe, to gain further control. This has been in the works since Yeltsin sobered up long enough to see the endgame of the jackals, sent under Clinton, and appoint someone (Putin) that might be savvy enough to slow it down.
After Russia and Europe, the Great Reset (wealth transfer) will shift to North America for the next collapse and wealth transfer, which has been in preparation for at least 30 years with NAFTA.
All wars are banker economic wars, whether by shooting for territory or by deprivation of the population.

Appointing Putin = Boris saying “f-you” to his handlers? Interesting take. Putin hasn’t turned out the way NATO wanted, for sure.

Pat Buchanan and others were warning in the 1990’s that the exploitation and subversion of Russia via Yeltsin and his corrupt family and associates would produce a nationalist backlash.

All wars have an economic element – I don’t think they reduce to pure economics. Culture war is also an strong element of the anti-Russian/Viserad push by Soros-NATO. And race is another subtext, a demographic wedge to split native populations and “open” markets for exploitation.

I agree that Putin has been very candid and consistent in drawing his red lines. I was surprised that Putin invaded – I thought he would see how things played out. But Zelensky’s rhetoric about nukes in Ukraine was apparently the final straw.

And I doubt that Putin was unaware of the risk that the war wouldn’t end overnight. He tried for the decapitating shot but Russia still has the forces to win a more protracted war. If it didn’t, he would have waited – he’s resisted provocation before.

  10. @Been_there_done_that

Yet the idea that Russia fooled Ukraine into defensive dispositions that allowed Russia to achieve easily its real military objectives is so different from all the reports which have Putin misled by his own intelligence services and his army crippled by poor logistics, maintenance and training and morale of the infantry (in particular) that surely more proof is required. The idea that the Rusiian air force has done what might have been predicted and established dominance is also surprising. No mention of details like the effectiveness of the Turkish drones – for the time being anyway.

  11. Russian misconceptions? So far, things are going exactly as I expected and oddly enough, I am having a hard time imagining that Russian planners aren’t as well informed or clever as I am.

  12. peterAUS says:

    All evidence to the contrary.
The Ukrainian army is not cut out, not even that pinned to Novorossya.
Russian military isn’t even present in 2/3 of the country. In those parts it is present it hasn’t been able to take any major urban center. Doesn’t, even in rural, control most of the terittory outside of major communications.
UA is defending the capitol quite well, thank you very much. The capitol hasn’t been even surrounded so the area there IS secured…etc..etc…
The author did say “misconception” so all good.

The Ukrainian air force lost its control over Ukraine’s skies on the first day.

It did not. Russian airplanes and helicopters are being shot down on daily basis. One of reasons their ground forces most of the time have no air cover/support.

Command centres around the country were destroyed.

    What?!

The key. I have SOME doubts there.
To finish this mess the cabal in Kremlin will need 200 000 more troops.
I just don’t see them capable of it.

Of course, they’ll try “Grozny” on Ukrainian cities. Problem: running out of missiles. Artillery, tubed/MLRS itself, can’t do it. Bombing, well, won’t work due to Ukrainian (ground) air defense.

    Kremlin……..is….stuck.

    Yes. It certainly hasn’t helped.

A good article, but… Gilad… Zelensky *is* a clown and political puppet — he’s still now an ACTOR, playing a “Che Guevara” character. He is still acting. He was acting the whole time. Hell, one of his main acting roles before becoming actual president. was playing a president in “Servant of the People”… He’s still in the same role, and probably the same people of that show are writing the corny lines for his current screenplay for the masses. Only idiots fall for that — of course, 90% of the world population is formed by idiots.

The Russian action is absolutely justified. Ukraine had:

    1. Set up biowarfare laboratories
    2. Threatened to produce atomic weapons or at least a dirty bomb

There is clear evidence of this which is far more than the fake claims of WMDs by Colin Powell in the UN to justify the US invasion of Iraq. Also, Ukraine has

    3. Allowed NeoNazis into its military, security and administrative structures and attacked Russian minority civilians in the Donbass.

This is the equivalent of ISIS building their Caliphate and the Russian action is again justified as a war on terrorism.

Now that Russians have secured the nuclear plants I don’t know if they’ll ever be able to let Ukraine control them. Even when they close all the biolabs and exterminate the Nazis I don’t know if they’ll be able to leave Ukraine completely as an independent Ukraine government may again go down this same course prodded by USA, EU and NATO.

  17. An enjoyable read – feels like good company.

Gilad, I think you may have some facts slightly off-base, here, or angles, but it is not important:

I concur with your overall take – first of all, horror that again people should slaughter each other in mindless war. And to what end? That we have become numbed and desensitized to it does not make it less horrible – although our cynicism is also very useful to get us by in our day-to-day, to have some perspective, and even laugh at small things. The brother of cynicism is calmness, is it not?

Yet, it seems true that Putin had no choice but to attack – the murder of civilians could not continue, and the encroachment of NATO and its sheer stupid stubborness to not listen carries a large part of the blame. And Zelensky, the clown.

However, does this make Putin a good man? Does it mean that someone is not playing a higher “game” here? I do not think so – inside Russia it is not all roses. How much material prosperity and the lifting up economically of the common man can make up for lost freedom to speak ones mind, and ones whole mind, no matter what is in it? Is it not a form of prostitution, to accept physical necessities in exchange for intellectual and spiritual freedom – as the Russians must under their current regime? Is it not somehow better to be a landed serf, able to think and speak freely, than a rich and pampered international dandy, spiritually crushed by a tyranny of correctness?

And does not Russia have a central bank too, shielded against the state, in a form of legal transcendence? A central bank in communication with other central banks…

So are there any good sides here? Do we arrive at a sort of “end of philosophy”, as you seem to do after having laid out your view: “is there really no escape?

And here, I would suggest, as Kali has done already, that we are spiritual beings – there is always hope, for we do not die with our bodies, and neither do our loved ones. A philosophy without this is no true philosophy at all, but ends only in dead, mazes, and cul-de-sacs, although many gems can be found along the way. A philosophy without this, how does it face death?

We must recognize that there is something bigger, finer, subtler than us, and place hope and faith there, if we would have a sturdy foundation for our life. It can be approached in many ways – through service to others, through Integrity, Truth, Love, Peace – Conscience, Justice – through taking care of family and friends, and being a good example. And religions too, if they are approached in the right spirit – even Judaism! Most people are going along one of these routes – and most people mean well. This is also good to remember, I think.

God is real – I cannot say it better than that, because I don’t know so much about it, in the big picture. And as Kali also mentions, there are people everywhere who want to be free.

You have zero clue of what is going on. Sorry. The Russians are trying to capture the Ukraine and it’s government intact. It takes time.

The Americans idea of war is total obliteration and mass civilian casualties. The Russians left the lights on, the internet, the water treatment facilities and the trains. They completely destroyed the Ukrainian Air Force in 24 hours with the best missiles on the planet. If you own the skies you own the cities. The war is effectively over. The Ukrainian army’s command and control center is decimated, it’s armies split, running down and cannot coordinate.

The Russians are in total control of the situation and are willing to nuke the West as they have had enough of being led around the nose by the nazi-supremacist fake-jews and Satanists out of Davos and their fellow butt-grubbing counter-parts out of the City of London, et el, all the way through to the thoroughly mental ill “elite” fellow butt-eating counterparts out of Washington.

Let that sink in and while you do so let me ask you: Is there a bigger group of homo, sado-masochists on the planet? Uh – no!

Prayers to all who are unduly suffering.

Gilead Atzmon is a fine writer but one wonders who payed him to write this article.

The Russians never gave one fart of being greeted with anything but old fashioned respect. And they are sure being respected now as the sanctions against them are destroying the dollar hegemony long since terrorizing this planet. When they figure out that they can run their own economy on their own currency it will be truly over. They will be warm and thriving while most of the rest of the world starves like Germany who has no oil. Maybe they will heat themselves with liberals.

They Russians have all the fertilizer and energy and minerals. They don’t need the psychopaths of the West. They have better missiles too, by far, and nukes.

This fairy tale, that somehow the Russians are losing in the Ukraine for fighting war a in a more methodical and humanitarian way, is simply and gleefully inhaled by a pack of mutual butt-sniffers who apparently have little more intelligence than a pavlov dog; these all passing as readers supposedly. When instead, they are ALL being thoroughly propagandized and trained by Big Media. The same media who sold you the Gulf War as supposedly the Iraqi’s had weapons of mass destruction.

It’s insane to watch how fast and furious this propaganda works put out by a group of people who should be put up for war crimes. It is of such hallucinatory power that even an intellect like Gilead Atzmon could fall for it. THAT”S WHAT A MENTAL PRISON THAT WE ALL LIVE IN. THE RUSSIANS QUIT LIVING THERE WHEN COMMUNISM FELL AND THE SATANIST’S CAME AND STOLE MUCH OF WHAT THEY HAD.

The world is in for a shock because the Russians ACTUALLY ARE a Christian nation at heart and have long suffered at the hands of an enemy they know well. They are rising to the occasion and may be just saving us all from the Jewsuits/Black Guelphs/Fake Jews/The New Phoenicians/The Swiss Nazi’s (whatever you want to call these satanic “beings” who animate the brain of the Monkey-West.

The Russians consider the Ukrainians their brothers. By all accounts they love the city of Odessa and such. Get use to having your brain de-loused. It will be an ongoing experience if you let it.
Ukraine got invaded because it was going to kill all the Russians in the Donbass dumbasses.

That is why their army is cut off in the East and they have already lost. They split off to kill the Russians in the Donbass. Gilead doesn’t even mention this as a possibility. He cooks up this far-fetched analog from a different time and place.

This army is surrounded in what the Russians call a “caldron”. This caldron is now at this point being heated up and fish inside are going to fry if they don’t lay down their arms.

The nazi’s who control the Ukrainian army is hiding behind all the civilians and that is why they have not been destroyed by hyperbaric weapons and such. THIS IDEA THAT RUSSIANS ARE BEING HEROICALLY RESISTED AND ARE STALLED OUT IS THE BIGGEST FICTION SINCE THE IDEA THAT ISREAL IS A LEGITIMATE NATION BASED UPON THE BIBLE AND IS RULED BY SEMITES. (ahahahahahahaha!)

Ukrainians got invaded and will become a rump-state grain-bin for allowing themselves to be ruled by nasty, stupid, cut-throat sell-out”jews” like Victoria Nuland and Blinken not to mention their sat-trap faggot president who plays the piano with his dick. There are off course many, many, many others. Putin will be successful precisely because he deals with these people every day of his life.

Not that the “jews” who rule the West are any better actually. And what does that portend for US then? No-one will figure that out believing nonsense like this post. And poor Gilead is a post-jew himself.

How stupid we all have collectively become. Death by stupid.

Frankly, I am little bit disappointed with the so called Russian “military†“expertsâ€. How could they not see the coming together of US and Ukraine?

It’s a common sense. They are practically natural allies. How come? Easy. Neither of them can fight. Of course they will seek each other assistance. They have so much in common.

Another thing that Ukraine picked up from US – is their preference for fighting against civilians. Duh! It makes perfect sense. And it’s capitalist way of fighting. If you want to rack up the numbers of “enemies†killed – would you go against the enemy’s army or their civilians?

Why would you fight armed troops who can shoot back and have you killed, when you can go after the civilian population, slaughter them, quickly building up impressive numbers and show the world, what an outstanding army you have – which can kill so many members of their enemy.

Whether they carry weapons or not is just semantics. The numbers is all that matters. That’s why the Russian military “experts†should have seen it coming – the alliance of like-minded warrior nations – Ukraine and US.

They’ve wrecked the country and deservedly so for being a Western puppet and all its crimes, and whatever else they get out of it is a bonus. It looks like they will secure all of LDNR and maybe the entire coast; some of the east, maybe more? Perhaps this is a probing attack to see how NATO responds. But the real thing is that this allows Russia to clean house and put its home in order for the pivot to the East and pursue a long term economic war against US and EU. Grind the West down long term by other means like cutting off its resources to Western markets and moving away from the petrodollar. There’s too much propaganda of course that we’re all taken in by. Wouldn’t know about it. This play could end in M.A.D. easier than any played on this planet at the moment. If this doesn’t demand our attention nothing does. My take anyway.

I don’t know if it really matters too much to Russia how it ends in the Ukraine.

It should for several reasons. One of them is: should they miss any of their stated goals at the begginning of this shitshow it will send clear message that they are weak.
It’s not good to send that message in the current state of world power play.

They’ve wrecked the country and deservedly so for being a Western puppet and all its crimes, and whatever else they get out of it is a bonus.

So, neither of those, by Putin himself, demands have been met?
Good/not good, depends what side one is for.

It looks like they will secure all of LDNR and maybe the entire coast; some of the east, maybe more?

    O.K.
No demilitarization; no de-nazification. Constant low level warfare along demarcation lines.
    Sanctions.
Don’t think the cabal in Kremlin wanted that when gave the order to invade.

Perhaps this is a probing attack to see how NATO responds.

    Perhaps.
Or perhaps this is a failed attack to achieve those objectives stated, publicly, by Putin himself.

But the real thing is that this allows Russia to clean house and put its home in order for the pivot to the East and pursue a long term economic war against US and EU. Grind the West down long term by other means like cutting off its resources to Western markets and moving away from the petrodollar.

    Ah, that game.
    With little men in Kremlin?
    Doubt it.

There’s too much propaganda of course that we’re all taken in by.

Of course there is. But, it’s not that hard to cut through it. If one knows a bit here and there about how military, combat and war look like.

And all this is going on while there is a real world economic crisis that has been there regardless of the war or Covid-19.

I hear you. Going since June 2019.

So they’re turning up the fear with talk of WWIII and nukes flying – all part of the game.

    Yep.
    Works wonders, looks like.

Still, there are worse things than recession, stagflation, CBDC, Universal Digital ID, Panopticon, UBI and the rest of the coming neo-feudalism.
    Mushrooms.

Putin didn’t want this war and here we are.
He also will not want to escalate into nuclear and we could end up there.

The West, apparently, is increasing its military help to Ukraine. Very soon it could force Kremlin into position to strike into Poland.
From then on it could get ugly in a hurry.

The issue in this battle will be how the separatists and Crimeans function in this. The Donbas separatists can muster around 60,000 men to fight. that’s before a general mobilization. The Crimeans are a larger mystery. It’s essentially a naval base. I don’t know how many people they can send in to arm. Where it gets grim is the size of the Police State in Russia. How well armed are their paramilitary police, how many are there?

we hear a lot about 45 million Ukrainians, but up to 4 million have fled and I’d guess the data includes the population of Crimea and Donbas as part of that 45 million. There’s also the clandestine use of the Belorussia military and perhaps even the Kazakhs who may take on supply roles.

there’s less than 35 million Ukrainians on the Ukrainian side. all spread out and many must have fled the area east of the Dneiper.

equally I suppose we can count Poles, Slovaks, Germans, Romanians who may be filtering in to fight for Ukraine too. so some of these things cancel out.

Except that’s not what happened. The Germans attacked through the Ardennes and then drove for the Channel coast. The attack through Belgium was intended, successfully, to draw the Allied armies north, away from the route of the principal attack.

Everyone goes for maximum demands then negotiates downwards and settles for less. That’s the point of it to appear intransigent. Zelensky is doing it, US too.

If they really want massive de-population then nukes will fly but they will have to also be directed at other targets than those involved in the conflict as the population explosion is greatest elsewhere. So I’m not sure these players as they stand now will go for it.

A conventional conflict in the Ukraine and elsewhere in Eastern Europe could be tolerable for the big players, even a Russian occupation with some insurgency to police.

The Russia/China block has the advantage of having a huge border and Russia can easily trade with all of Asia while the US and the EU are separated by an ocean which adds to the cost ,and if the wars steps up to WWIII levels their sea bound transports will be vulnerable.

“The Russian were mistaken on most fronts. But being clumsy, heavy, miscalculated and delusional is not new to Russia, it may even be engraved in the Russian operational mode.”

Go ask Generals from the Syrian Arab Army if they agree with this. Russia went in to Syria with the absolute minimum and used it to the maximum. Their campaign was a brilliant success. A bit of the old Israeli in you bitter about that, Gilad?

“The Russians overestimated the support they would find amongst the population and Ukraine’s political class. They grossly underestimated the Ukrainians’ will to defend their land. They underestimated the Western reaction to their campaign.”

All we know so far is that the Neo-Nazis are putting up strong resistance which is to be expected. We have seen no battles with the best of the Ukrainian army, numbering about 70,000, which has allowed itself to be surrounded for the second time in 8 years. We do not know what the local populations feel as they would be terrified to wave a Russian flag anywhere at the moment. Russia does not care about Western reaction. They did what they felt they had to do – it is an existential matter and had to be faced come what may.

And it will all be over by summer.

The LDNR militia, being the people’s militia of the independent People’s Republics of Lugansk and Donetsk, probably have somewhat different rules than the Russian army and I suppose that they take the de-Nazification programme most seriously and literally; i.e. the physical eradication of Nazis. How they interpret who is a “Nazi” and how far they cast their net I leave to your imagination. It could well be that any enemy combatant caught in the administrative region of their territory is considered a Nazi and is given short shrift. That is probably why the invaders from other regions of the Ukraine and overseas are fiercely resisting as they know that they will not get out alive and that is also why most of the Russian casualties are among the LDNR militia. God speed to the peoples’ militias in liberating their lands and annihilating the Nazi scum.

My sources say that although that Russia thought it was a possibility the Ukrainian forces would capitulate immediately , they also knew that in the 8 years since the 2014 coup de ‘tat radical Banderistas had been placed in positions of authority thorough out the military and government. Millions of Russian oriented Ukrainians had fled. The opposition to the ultranationalist government had mostly been outlawed or imprisoned. It is obvious that despite obvious false propaganda by the Ukrainians the Russians did not use American shock and awe which turns a country’s infrastructure into rubble. They are actively trying to minimize civilian casualties and even military casualties except for Banderista elements like the NeoNazi Azov unit slowly being eliminated in Mariupol. This is what Atzmon mistakenly thinks is the apparent slowness of the Russian military operations he attributes to bumbling. Even as he acknowledges that most of the Ukrainian Army is trapped in cauldrons in the Eastern section of Ukraine and the major cities except for Lvov are surrounded after a few weeks.

One reason why I was a little surprised by the Russian Total Invasion was the low numbers quoted by MoD and DoD. 150,000 isn’t enough to invade Ukraine by itself. But if you add the Separatists and Crimean population you get close to 250,000. Just enough to have encircled the conventional forces Ukraine possesses. Putin slightly outmobilized the Ukies just in time to catch them as they were deploying in the South.

If Jerusalem is only represented by written rules and legalism then it can turn people into robots who do the most appalling acts in the name of god. If it is a spiritual dimension which inspires reason then its in the realm of conscience in which reason and values meet. Wisdom and truth itself were considered divine gifts in Ancient Egypt and there is a line regarding the latter (Maat) which comes to mind: “[Thoth] who reveals Maat and reckons Maat; who loves Maat and gives Maat to the doer of Maat”.

The terrible acts done by people in the name of god are complemented by similar evil done by fundamentalist atheists and this is when spirit can enter and provide light. This is not an emotional state, albeit it does engender an emotional response, nor is it simply the working of thought, albeit it inspires thought. The following passage describes the tensions that can arise between Jerusalem and Athens in this context.

Your other Jerusalem is al-Qods. Orthodox Christianity is all. The rest of you are frauds, captured by darkness and delusions. Join true Christianity and Liberal Muslims in the real thing.

  65. Anon[581] •ï¿½Disclaimer says:

“Maybe it is time to accept that the true meaning of globalisation is the acceptance that there is no refuge, no safe haven, no escape. Even when you see it all, the lies, the propaganda, the tyranny of correctness, Jerusalem and the decline of the West as we know it, you are still locked together with the rest of humanity in a vessel spiralling down to impact.”

Very powerful quote and I couldn’t agree more with every single word in this entire essay.

The level of Jerusalem I see in people around me in the USA is unbelievable, and it exists clearly in the UK, as well. The level of simple compassion and understanding for fellow humans is rock-bottom.

The USA had a Civil War 150 years ago and the country could not figure out how to heal from it. The Northerners created, by 1900, a panoply of anti-Southern stereotypes for their hated ex-enemies who they had proven to be wrong, of every imaginable type that made Southern whites incredibly self-conscious, frustrated, distrustful. Much like modern-day African Americans.

They still rebel against whatever is “the current thing” in the USA to this day. The Southern Rebel archetype. Mostly wrong, but tragically, in my opinion. This is the main problem with my country.

Indeed, Southern whites and African Americans really do go together like peas in a pod, and the South is still the home of the strong plurality of America’s blacks – though this might shock many people. These days, they intermarry with the local whites at astonishing rates, too.

A little bit more Athens and a little less Jerusalem is the key to making things better with these frustrated people. Stereotyping, lack of compassion for “bad” people – this is a Jerusalem thing.

Ukrainian LTC vs. 5 Russian Generals.

  67. Though I agree with Gilad’s general contentions regarding the misconceptions on the western side of things with the Ukrainian Crisis, I cannot agree with his military analysis.

All of the military analysis I have read coming out Russian sources as well as other analysts who have access to more credible sources have all suggested that the Russian strategic doctrine of isolating the neo-Nazi forces in Ukraine were the primary objectives of Russian tactical incursions.

The Ukrainian Army was indeed poised to attack the Donbas with around 120,000 troops arrayed on the Donbas border.

The attack on Kiev was most likely a feint until it became an important center of operations. This is why the encirclement of Kiev was not noted until later in the conflict.

As to the Russians being convinced of most Ukrainians being supportive of their invasion, they were probably correct in most cases given that most Ukrainians have no love for the neo-Nazis that Zelensky has allowed into the Ukrainian Army.

What sluggishness westerners are seeing in the Russian operations is more a result of care being taken to limit civilian casualties as much as possible. This has been corroborated by UN reporting of Ukrainian civilian casualties at around 850+ killed, which is exceedingly small given successful, massive destruction of Ukrainian troops and military facilities.

Besides, if Gilad is also reporting the lightening and successful quickness of Russian operations, why does he suddenly think that the Russians are running into issues they did not prepare for?

The fiercest fighting is being carried out by mostly neo-Nazi forces, which are concentrated now in Mariupol and Kiev. They are all now completely isolated, which was the Russian plan all along…

  68. excellent essay. love your work.
