This article focuses on the interactions between everyone and Ripper.
Overview[]
Ripper's offensive demeanor and repulsive behavior caused him to be despised by his fellow competitors, resulting in numerous adversaries and few allies, primarily the equally disliked Chase and the easy-going Zee. This only gets worse as Total Drama Island (2023) progresses. As a result, Ripper is frequently mocked by his peers whenever he attempts to lead his team, and there is much rejoicing when he is eliminated.
His lack of popularity continues as he ends up being the final contestant chosen by either of the teams in season two. However, he is slightly more accepted by his peers compared to last time, as he has toned down his unpleasant behavior, as shown when he gets along with the friendly Hockey Bros and even gains a girlfriend. Nevertheless, nobody approves of Ripper's relationship with Axel, and the other contestants almost unanimously agreed on eliminating her in order to separate them.
Axel[]

In Total Drama Island (2023), Axel and Ripper end up being the very first officially formed conflict because of their clashing views and priorities. Axel maintained a more aggressive leadership approach in contrast to Ripper’s alpha male complex. Their rivalry had cost their team the win in Pirates of the Cabbage'an, with Ripper having the last laugh.
A year later, Ripper has developed a crush on Axel, with it going unrequited because of her still holding a grudge against him because of last season. Ripper starts trying to impress Axel after Taking It to the Rim Reaper, desiring to prove he’s the “Coolest guy ever.” He fails to make her swoon over him, embarrassing himself instead. After finding out that Axel likes poetry in Choosin' for a Bruisin', Ripper had initiated a plan to win her over, succeeding this time and sharing his first kiss with Axel at the episode’s campfire ceremony. From this episode onwards, the two become a couple. And they are primarily seen making out. Up until Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, they’d been a pretty affectionate couple, disgusting everyone else with this. This unfortunately ends with Axel getting voted off. In an act of refusal to be without her, Ripper grabs onto her legs as she once again takes the Drone of Despair: quitting the game to be with her.
Bowie[]
Bowie thinks of Ripper as a repulsive skunk of a man after he uses his fart to scare off him and Raj. Ripper calls out Julia for smacking Bowie, believing you can't just smack a man with his own burrito. In Meet the Victims, Bowie is repulsed at Ripper when he exposes his butt after his pants rip. In Severe Eggs and Pains, Bowie is shown to be angry at Ripper for spiking a baby bird into the ground.
Ripper expresses confidence in Bowie’s athletic capabilities when he’s the last member of their team left in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, Bowie is supportive when Ripper asks him for advice on how to win Axel's affections and advises him to be direct about his feelings. He later assumes that Ripper is a chicken after noting his absence, and is disgusted at the sight of seeing Ripper in a speedo covered in butter. Bowie angrily glares at him at the elimination ceremony when Chef mentions him bringing a bear into the three-point slide that he, Raj, Wayne, and Julia were stuck in. In Canoe Believe It?, Ripper is upset when Bowie beats Axel in the second round of the jousting challenge though this more due to Axel being his girlfriend rather than any personal dislike of Bowie.
Caleb[]
Caleb is disgusted and freaked out by Ripper farting in order to get himself and Axel unstuck in You Poor Saps. In Soar Losers, Ripper (along with Bowie, Axel, and Chase) shoots Caleb with a T-shirt canon in an attempt to slow him down and help Wayne.
Chase[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Chase, Ripper and Zee
Chase and Ripper are both disliked by their teammates, they form a close friendship in the midst of actively being lambasted by the team. Chase finds Ripper's gross shenanigans wicked, respecting Ripper enough to take up for him when the team is conflicted about Ripper's choice to use Priya as a human shield. Ripper respects Chase as a player, initially believing he's stronger than anyone else in the team in Drown Town Abbey. Chase is the closest one to remotely being on the same wavelength, agreeing on gameplans with both attempting to show off in challenges. Millie describes them as having a bromance thing going on.
In Total Drama Island (2024), they don't have much interaction even though they were on the same team apart from what looks like a negative perspective of one another; such as Ripper calling Chase a “weak pick” in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. They are shown to vote each other out in Taking It to the Rim Reaper.
Chris[]
Chris is disgusted by Ripper and his habits, primarily his farting and tendencies to get his pants ripped. He is shown to have a minor conflict with Ripper, as he refers to him as a kid he doesn’t like after he’s eliminated. He also takes several jabs at Ripper, hoping to embarrass him. In Meet the Victims, Ripper tears off his shirt to flex his “muscles”. Chris asks him if that was his only shirt, noticing his lack of suitcases with him. Ripper confirms this, and Chris says that they’ll find him something. During the challenge, Chris calls Ripper “Ripper-Pants” due to the hole in the back of his pants. At the start of Pirates of the Cabbagean, Ripper complains about Chris giving him new shorts due to the network being upset about the incident with his pants ripping in the previous episode. Throughout the episode, Ripper's arguments with Axel tend to annoy Chris. Forcing him to try and shut the two up. He forces them to stop their bickering during the challenge and once again at the elimination ceremony after the Ferocious Trout lost the challenge.
In Drown Town Abbey, Chris tells Ripper not to rip his pants open again, due to it getting letters from the network, to which he replies with the smug assumption that they’re love letters. Chris corrects him, explaining the letters were filled with vomit to embarrass Ripper further. When Chris introduces the helmets, he throws one at Ripper’s head. As Ripper gets caught in the wire, Chris says it may come as a shock to him, but to wire is electrified. As the latter tears open his pants again, Chris unenthusiastically says “there it is, again!” In Numbskull Island, Ripper is mad at Scary Girl for not bringing the skull to Chris, he refers to Chris as “that Chris guy”. In Jurassic Fart’s elimination ceremony, he taunts Ripper and Damien, saying “will it be you or you” while holding the last marshmallow of the night. As soon as Ripper starts to talk and accept his elimination, Chris silences him by cramming it in Ripper’s mouth, surprising both Damien and Ripper. In Launch Back of Notre Game, Chris introduces the penalty pits, which are filled with “surprises”. Ripper asks what these surprises are. An annoyed Chris asks Ripper if he knows what surprises are. When Zee accidentally launches Ripper, Chris says luckily it was by accident, and he calls Ripper’s attempt at hitting a target a “fling and a miss”, as he falls into a penalty pit filled with crabs.
In Severe Eggs and Pains, Ripper asks what the challenge is, Chris answers that like him: the challenge will be very simple. Ripper is the first to return with an egg, but he spikes it into the ground, Chris then denies him the win. In The Wheel of Vomit, Ripper tries asking what’s in their glass, thinking it’s blended stinkbugs. Chris tells him he should’ve been at the pitch meeting, but it’s just milk. After Ripper and Julia tie, Chris calls them both determined and disgusting. At the end of the episode, Ripper is eliminated and begs for Chris to help him after the Drone of Despair grabbed him by his underwear.
Damien[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Damien and Ripper
Damien is disgusted by Ripper while Ripper appears to respect him more than Millie and Priya. Ripper's attitude tends to annoy or confuse Damien, making him just silently judge Ripper. Ripper rants about his new shorts to him and attempts to get Damien to join in on bullying Millie. But after he reveals himself as a "nerd", Ripper's respect for him dwindles, bullying him and hanging out with Chase and Zee more instead. At Numbskull Island's elimination, Ripper's "marshmallow roasting" makes Damien throw up upon witnessing that. He continues to think negatively of Ripper, making jabs at his character along with voting for him in Jurassic Fart.
Emma[]
When everyone arrives on the Island, Ripper is intrigued with Emma's anger against Chase. In Jurassic Fart, Ripper tries to flirt with her after she farts loudly, telling her that she's more than just a pretty face much to Emma's disgust.
In You Poor Saps, Emma freaks out at seeing Ripper attempting to create a fart to get himself and Axel unstuck from each other.
Ripper easily gets Emma’s question correct in Choosin' for a Bruisin' after observing her biting her nails.
Julia[]
In Severe Eggs and Pains, Julia tries to manipulate Ripper into voting for Chase, saying they’re both on the chopping block since her team was threatened by her beauty and popularity, and that Ripper’s team found him repulsive. He originally considers it, pointing out that it'd take more than his own vote to send Chase packing. Despite Julia claiming she'd take care of it, Ripper intended to stab her in the back and get her booted from the game. From that point on, both of them scramble for immunity and target each other. In The Wheel of Vomit, Julia and Ripper are the last two left in the competition due to not puking. Chris makes them eat a tapeworm to decide the winner.
When on the same team in the following season, Julia doesn't think very highly of Ripper as a teammate. In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, she complains about Ripper being on their team instead of Nichelle, offending him. Later in the episode, she is continuously repulsed by him when he is covered in butter wearing only a speedo and rubbing his marshmallow on his buttered body. Despite their conflict, the two briefly form a truce in Ice to Beat You to side with MK in cheating in challenges with Ripper helping them by allowing them to draw the map to the ice maze on his stomach. This truce does not last long as Julia ends up repulsed by his making out with Axel in Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral and votes off his girlfriend. In Soar Losers, Ripper is disappointed when he, Axel, Bowie, and Chase fail to hit Julia off the tightrope bridge with the T-shirt canons and joins everyone (except MK and Scary Girl) at being upset at the idea of Julia winning the season, showing he still doesn't think too highly of her.
Millie[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Millie and Ripper
Millie is uncomfortable with Ripper, cringing or annoyed by his repulsive actions. She gets upset when he used Priya as a human shield and furious in the next episode where Ripper is using her own pillow to cover up his farts. However, she seems to respect or understand Ripper a bit more than Priya does as she believes Ripper's bullying is a sign of insecurity. However, they tend to make fun of one another, a snide comment always being thrown each other's way throughout the game. In Magma Cum Laude, Ripper ends up being her partner much to her dismay. Despite this, Ripper comes up with the idea that Millie should sabotage Priya's raft. This is so Priya would climb onto Millies's raft and they would be friends again. Millie reluctantly agrees to this, desperate enough to find it a good idea, only to find out that the river was a river of lava. Millie's upset with Ripper but he chooses not to take accountability.
MK[]
They have little interaction in their first season due to being on opposing teams. The little interaction they do have shows MK is disgusted with Ripper like everyone else. In Drown Town Abbey, when Ripper's bum is exposed again, MK brushes it off with a snide comment of "seen it". In Numbskull Island when Ripper claimed the skull and runs it to Chris, MK calls him "wiener" before activating the shield to stop Ripper in his path.
They interact more in the following season when on Team Skunk Butt, with MK continuing to have a low opinion of Ripper and being disgusted when she sees him covered in butter in Taking It to the Rim Reaper, wearing nothing but a speedo and gets even more grossed out when he loses his speedo when attempting to go down the two-point slide and rendered naked. Later in the episode, she glares at him when Chef mentions Ripper attracting a bear into the three-point slide. Despite this, Ripper is supportive of MK cheating to help the team win challenges and helps her in Ice to Beat You by allowing her to draw the map to the ice maze on his stomach. This brief camaraderie doesn't last long as MK is repulsed and annoyed by Ripper and Axel's constant making out and not helping with baking the cake in Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral.
Nichelle[]
In The Pink Painter Strikes Again, Ripper and Nichelle are the last two contestants picked for a team. Ripper is angered after being deemed lower priority than Nichelle, and becoming the last pick. As Bowie and Nichelle are the last two in the challenge, Ripper deems it an easy win for Bowie: seeing Nichelle as just a “pretend action star”. However, both Bowie and Ripper quickly eat their words. In Choosin' for a Bruisin', Nichelle claims Damien is not Ripper when thinking he would prefer to sleep in a graveyard over going without toilet paper, indicating she holds a low opinion of Ripper and is grossed out by him. In Ice to Beat You, he and MK support Julia in taunting Nichelle before the challenge.
Priya[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Priya and Ripper
Priya and Ripper’s conflict starts as soon as Ripper starts calling her "Nerd 2" while dismissing her as a weak player in Drown Town Abbey. She wants him gone from the game ASAP at that point. The conflict drastically increases to an ongoing amount of hatred as soon as Priya is used as a human shield for Ripper's advantage. This made Priya's feelings personal toward Ripper, wanting to fling him into the sun in The Launchback of Notre Game. Priya continues to hold a grudge throughout the rest of the season, usually proclaiming that Ripper must go next above any other priority. She also calls him a fart monster. Ripper proves how one sided the rivalry is by cheering for Priya when she wins. He only acknowledges her hatred when it endangers his position in the game; otherwise he freely annoys Priya and calls her a nerd to his heart's content.
Raj and Wayne[]
Raj and Wayne disrespectfully trash talk Ripper when they first arrive at the island. Ripper, feeling embarrassed, tries to think of a comeback to insult Raj and Wayne back, but he fails. They continue to make fun of him, angering Ripper further to try and attack the Hockey Bros. Wayne and Raj describe Ripper and his team as "total fartfaces" and crummy players. Although in an ironic stroke of karma, Wayne and Raj get brutally outplayed by him in Episode 4's challenge. He defeats the Hockey Bros with his boulders and potent stink bomb alongside stealing their skull after using Priya as a human shield. The two acknowledge that he was unstoppable.
In the following season, Ripper interacts more with them when on Team Skunk Butt and seems to get along well with them. In Taking It to the Rim Reaper, Raj and Wayne are supportive of Ripper's efforts to win Axel over and help give him advice on how to win her over. Later in the episode, they are concerned for Ripper when he get his speedo stuck when trying to go down the two point slide. However, the Hockey Bros angrily glare at Ripper when Chef brings up Ripper bringing a bear into the three-point slide as they were stuck with Bowie and Julia. Despite their generally decent friendship, Ripper briefly runs into conflict with them in Ice to Beat You when he supports MK and Julia cheating in challenges while Raj and Wayne oppose it.
In Canoe Believe It?, Wayne attempts to partner up with Ripper after Raj and Damien partner up with Bowie and Zee, but gets disgusted at seeing him and Axel making out. Later in the episode, Ripper is concerned for Wayne after Julia hits him during the first round of jousting and he lands on his crotch. In Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, they look remorseful after Ripper cries in despair over Axel's elimination, indicating guilt on voting off his girlfriend. Ripper holds nothing against them for this though and chooses to support Wayne in the finals in Soar Losers. Despite being annoyed with him for getting distracted, Ripper is ultimately happy when Wayne wins.
Scary Girl[]
Ripper is disturbed by Scary Girl, visibly being uncomfortable when she shows fascination about blood and casualties. Scary Girl greatly dislikes Ripper after he starts declaring her a liability that might blow challenges, especially when he picks her last in Drown Town Abbey. This leads to him almost getting his finger bitten off by an agitated Scary Girl. When Scary Girl finds a jackhammer at the start of a challenge, Ripper watches her in amusement as she begins to scare and torment the other contestants with it. The instant Scary Girl fails to comply with Ripper's game plan of bringing the skull to Chris, Ripper get frustrated with her and wants her gone. Scary Girl shares a similar sentiment, calling him a jerk. She attempts to ally with Priya in order to remove him from the game, specifically to save herself. She is shown to be as grossed out as everyone else when Ripper "roasts" his marshmallow.
Zee[]
- For more information about this section, visit: Chase, Ripper and Zee
Zee gets along with Ripper in Total Drama Island (2023), unlike a lot of other contestants. He isn’t grossed out when Ripper accidentally exposes his bum nor does he think poorly of him whenever Ripper acts like a jerk. Zee questions the extent of his plans on occassion, such as when Ripper uses Priya as a human shield or tries to get Zee to dress a bird when they partner up after the teams merge. Zee never holds a grudge after Ripper leaves him to the cassowary in Severe Eggs and Pains, though he does call Ripper a bad human and is shown to be sad with him at the following elimination ceremony. Zee appears to be over it by the next episode, continuing to hang out with Ripper like nothing happened.
