Winter
Winter! And it is really cold and snowy this year. Minus 15 centigrade this morning!
Most of my finishes are therefore o help us stay warm :)
My sister liked the mittens I made for Christmas, so here is a pair for her, too.
A new woolly hat for me for when I take the dog out.
And here is a bit of fun! I was given a block of Moda's Cake Mix Recipe cards. So easy and quick to make and it turned out to be a new cushion cover. I attended a weekend course to learn how to quilt with rulers. that was fun and the result on the cushion cover looks fine (from afar :) ) Needs a lot of practice, me thinks :)
And of course, DH has to keep warm and I think this alpaca jumper is just right for that. I nearly melted while knitting it :)
and, Stella in her favourite place - that is when she isn't on my lap helping me with my knitting or sewing ....
And thanks to Peggy and Kris for starting up OPAM 2018 - another year of fun and beautiful projects.
See you!

Hi Anne-Lise! It's very nice to meet you. I just popped over from Raspberry Rabbits to say hello and to become your newest follower. I love those mittens... you can make me a pair anytime you want, giggle (only kidding, well almost). Don't you love the way dogs will get on your lap no matter what size they are? Love bugs... Your knitting skills are amazing... I have worked at becoming a better knitter but I guess it's not in the cards for me... just make way too many mistakes and have to rip out constantly that I finally stopped knitting ( I fell in love with lace knitting and the patterns, well I'm sure you know the complicated counting that goes on, sigh). That sweater you made for your DH is stunning! Lucky DH!!! Anyway, very nice to meet you and look forward to your future posts.
