wanted to take this opportunity to talk about some of my thoughts on some upcoming movies for this year that i'm anticipating

Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken: looks like it's gonna be pretty fun tbh, even though the character design on the background humans looks like the artstyle google uses for their newsletters. you know, the one that jschlatt ranted about at length in his corporate design video. still, it looks like it has a lot of potential and i'm excited to see where they go with it.

Elemental: looks boring asf tbh

Five Nights at Freddy's: this has the potential to either be the best or worst movie ever made (i haven't played any fnaf but i watch game theory so i think i have the basics)

Barbie: like i said this one comes out on my birthday, so i'm probably gonna see it on opening day to celebrate (and probably double-feature it with Oppenheimer since it also comes out on my birthday). i have no idea whether this film will even be good or not but i know for a fact that it's probably gonna be really fun either way, so i'm excited

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem: honestly has the potential to be the second best animated film this year behind spiderverse, the cast alone is enough to get me excited and i don't even watch TMNT

Nimona: from the small glimpse we got honestly it looks really cool, it's too bad that blue sky won't get to release it but at least the talented animators who worked there get to finish their passion project

Wish: lmao disney made a luma

Pencil: The Movie BEST MOVIE OF 2023 SPIDERVERSE HAS NOTHING ON THIS THIS WILL BE THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD
