May the Goddess's Rage Erupt upon This Unclean Slime! (この不浄なスライムに女神の怒りの鉄槌を！, Kono Fujō na Suraimu ni Megami no Ikari no Tettsui wo!) is the forty-second chapter of the KonoSuba manga series, and covers Chapter 5 to the Epilogue in Volume 4 of the light novels.
Summary[]
Darkness manages to survive being hit with blobs of poison slime, the pain from which she enjoys to Kazuma's exasperation. While Megumin lies limply on the ground as the uncovered Aqua also survives the poison slime raining on her, the pieces of Hans try to reform, only to have Wiz furiously encase the whole area in ice with Cursed Crystal Prison before she collapses from exhaustion.
Hans however manages to break out despite being reduced to a small size, yet just as he attempts to devour Kazuma and Darkness, Aqua furiously strikes him using God Strike. With her powers boosted by her rage at him harming her followers, Hans realises too late that Aqua is the goddess worshiped by the hated lunatics, before he is obliterated by her mighty God Requiem.
Later reporting the incident to the local Adventurer Guild, Kazuma's party is thanked by the Axis followers, until they discover to their rage that the main spring had been purified into pure hot water. The gang is accordingly evicted from Arcanletia, where their reward money from defeating Hans is left behind as reparations for destroying the town's key industry. On their way back to Axel by carriage, while Wiz is still shimmering from Aqua's purification, Aqua despite Kazuma's advising against it tells Megumin and Darkness that she is an actual goddess, something they once again dismiss as delusions.
At the Main Cathedral of the Axis Church, the Archpriest Zesta hears of the report about a blue-haired woman wearing a hagoromo who managed to quickly purify all the hot springs in the city on top of one of the Demon King's Generals, and orders the rest of the church to secretly acknowledge the advent of their patron goddess. He is then informed about the main spring now gushing out holy water with healing and purifying properties which can sell better than the hot springs, thus decides to assign somebody to Axel and discretely repay Aqua the rewards her party had left behind.
After the party returns to their mansion, Kazuma looks forward to a peaceful rest at home. Yet while Megumin and Aqua are busy playing a chess-like game as he sips tea, Yunyun comes frantically knocking and asks to bear his child.
