This courtyard was an enclosed open area on the ground floor of the Long Gallery building at Hogwarts Castle, accessible through Central Hall. One wall of the courtyard led out to a bridge that passed over one side of the Middle Courtyard, thus connecting the Central Tower to the Hogwarts Turris Magnus. The courtyard contained a gargoyle and a trellis of Dirigible Plums.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- A possible courtyard can be seen through a window the Central Tower area within the Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince video games. However, it cannot be accessed and it does not appear to be used by anybody. It may only be decoration.
