"Couple Sweaters" is the fiftieth episode of Mickey Mouse.
Synopsis[]
Mickey tries to get through a date with Minnie wearing the world's most uncomfortable sweater.
Plot[]
After Mickey takes a shower, he decides to go through a date with Minnie tonight when Pluto is sleeping. When Mickey opened the closet full of pants, then he finds a sweater that Minnie made for him and herself called the 'Couple Sweater', but he starts to freak out because the sweater is too itchy and itches like crazy, which makes Pluto mad and puts it back in the closet. Mickey thought Minnie is not going to wear her sweater, but then he sees Minnie reminding him to go on their date tonight at the boardwalk with her Couple Sweater on, which makes his pants fall down.
At the pier, Mickey and Minnie with couple sweaters are in Fancy Restaurant (Which is translated Italian with "Ristorante"), the Waiter asks both what to order, Mickey wants to order a water, then Mickey questions to Minnie over her weekend, then Mickey feels nervous over his itchy sweater, which caused him to have his eyes watering, lips chap, making him wanna pull up his hands up, turn his head and spot his back. The Waiter serves both the snacks which was a tower of different foods, which made Mickey's jaw dropped, Mickey eats all the snack (as he uses the Kirby's Inhale), then he feeds her with the too many snacks.
Next up, Mickey with the itchy sweater is going home but, Minnie wants to go dancing but Mickey starts to freak out of dancing, Minnie grab holds Mickey to go dance. Mickey & Minnie in couple sweaters are doing a romantic dance which the song plays "All the Cats Join In", Mickey makes his Itchy dance and Minnie is dancing well, when mickey tries to scratches his back with Minnie's Sweater, the Exit changes red. Mickey has better idea how to dance. After the dancing, Mickey tries to take his sweater away due to itching.
But when Mickey sees Minnie's attempt to go on a ride with Mickey on a Ferris Wheel, seeing how happy Minnie looks, Mickey decides to go on with his sweater still on. After the ride starts, Mickey continues to itch, hypnotized, he starts having a terrible nightmare. In his vision ripped off his Sweater and finally he no longer has it, but a Sweater Monster scares Mickey and they summed from 2 by 10, getting chased by a yarn ball, attempts to run away from it with the Sweater Monster jumping on him which jump scared him of his nightmare, Mickey then fell over after the ride ends which Minnie enjoyed her riding on a Ferris wheel.
Having enough with the itchy sweater, Mickey decides to go home, but an old sloth couple stops him and Minnie's track to take a picture of them with they're sweaters on (with the male sloth struggling to attach the flash cube to his camera). Having enough he tries to run away but couldn't, because a string from the sweater was caught during the Ferris Wheel when he got on to the ride, which causes the sweater to turn into a long string stuck to the wheel. Mickey finally tells Minnie the truth that he hates the sweater, Minnie admits that she also hates the sweaters because they're just so itchy, Minnie declares that they should never wear Couple Sweaters again as she rips her sweater, which both agreed to the deal with the episode ending with the couples scratching each other backs.

- Mickey's vision on the Ferris wheel has a similar look and score to the Pink Elephants from Dumbo.
- The old couple are wearing similar pants and a hat which Mickey and Minnie wear.
- The pier side which Mickey and Minnie visit may be based on Paradise Pier at Disney California Adventure.
- The dancers in the bandstand are the bobbysoxers from the "All the Cats Join In" segment of Make Mine Music.
Goofs/Errors[]
- Mickey had his pants off in the beginning of the episode, but when he sees Minnie outside, his pants were suddenly on.
