"The Enchanting Hut" is the twelfth episode of The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse.
Synopsis[]
Mickey and Minnie struggle to build a shelter after a storm threatens to destroy their island.
Plot[]
Birds of paradise, orchids, palm trees, and tropical birds sing along together in harmony just as Mickey and Minnie dance along with them. Suddenly, a tropical storm strikes as a storm cloud is approaching the island, causing the plants and birds to scatter in fear while Mickey and Minnie plan to build a shelter on the island. While planning to build a hut on the island, Mickey is taking his time using bricks made of sand to help him while Minnie holds a long bamboo stick to help construct the hut, much to Minnie not noticing Mickey who is trying to build the walls just as Minnie plans to work on the foundation. Working on the foundation, the birds of paradise and orchids observe Mickey and suddenly bother Minnie who is working on it while Mickey attempts to place the bamboo stick to build the hut while palm trees constantly block him. Overwhelmed by the trees, he decides to use a mallet to hit them and help clear his path so that he can continue building the hut.
As the storm cloud continues to approach the tropical hut, Mickey places the bamboo walls on Minnie's foundation, while Minnie notices that the hut needs a roof and upon seeing a flock of tropical birds nearby, they scatter and pester Mickey and Minnie who are placing leaves on the roof. Noticing the storm cloud approaching the island, Mickey tells the plants and birds to enter but they refuse, due to the limited space inside just as a wave summoned via cloud tosses Mickey and Minnie who are tossed out to sea while the plants and birds work together to build the hut noticing the two in danger. The birds of paradise, the orchids, the palm trees, and the tropical birds work together to build the hut as Mickey realizes that they were just trying to help just as Mickey and Minnie find some bamboo sticks and use it to build a raft to escape the storm cloud. Use the raft as a surfboard, Mickey and Minnie escape from the cloud into the hut being built by the tropical plants and birds just as the hut is successfully constructed. Mickey and Minnie place the raft made of bamboo and use it as the hut's door just as the two notice the tropical birds inside the hut. The storm cloud attempts to destroy the hut but is unable to as it becomes a white cloud. Mickey and Minnie offer the cloud to participate with them inside the hut to which he accepts. Mickey and Minnie happily dance inside the hut with the tropical birds and plants happily participating with Mickey and Minnie inside the hut just as the redeemed cloud dances alongside them.

- At one point, Mickey gets flattened into a Mickey waffle.
