"An Ordinary Date" is the eighth episode of The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse.[1]
Synopsis[]
Mickey and Minnie attempt to make their ordinary dinner date into something extraordinary.
Summary[]
Mickey and Minnie are planning a date, unaware of each other’s desires to make it extraordinary. With their friends helping out, however, their hopes of making it extraordinary turns into a series desaturates. It also ends up damaging everything round and injured each other and their friends as well as everyone else.
In the final attempt, they end up getting the restaurant blown up. As they look at the fireworks that shows their failure, the mice couple admitted their actions to each other and realized they didn’t need all the fancy things and big stuff to show how much they meant to each other. They now know they only each other. They start their simple date and watch the fireworks.
