The Road Hogs are characters from the Mickey Mouse episode of the same name.
Background[]
The Road Hogs are a group of anthropomorphic biker pigs as their names imply where they are seen hanging out at Neppy's Tuna Bucket, a bar where the Road Hogs hang out. Each Road Hog wears a black biker outfit each with a skull and crossbones design on their back, albeit with a pig-themed skull as well as wearing spiked helmets. The vehicles that they use are anthropomorphic gray motorbikes - each having facial hair, eyes, and angry eyebrows.
All the Road Hogs are voiced by Clancy Brown.
Role in the series[]
The Road Hogs are first seen when Mickey and Minnie arrive at Neppy's Tuna Bucket much to Minnie's worry that this area is a biker hangout. Upon entering, he sees various Road Hogs as Mickey asks the bartender to give the two milkshakes while Minnie asks their boss that her boyfriend is a biker too. The Road Hog boss asks Mickey to know if he is a biker or not to which Mickey points to his scooter outside to which the Road Hogs make fun of Mickey's scooter, Scoot. As Scoot knocks down the Road Hogs' bikes, one Road Hog grabs Mickey, asking him that he will pay for the damage caused by his scooter to which Mickey suddenly evades them while planning to get milkshakes for Minnie while they notice Minnie arriving at the bar. The Road Hog boss tells Minnie that her boyfriend has being setting off into the sunset. As Mickey arrives to give the milkshakes to Minnie and the Road Hogs, Scoot suddenly warns Mickey that Minnie has joined the Road Hogs across the street.
As Minnie drives with the Road Hogs across the highway, she sees a mess inside the boss biker's vehicle, much to his worry just as Mickey tries to catch up with Minnie, not noticing that she is clearing away his own stuff just as Mickey tries to save them. Mickey places a detour sign to distract the Road Hogs just as Mickey plans to rescue Minnie, much to Minnie being busy in tidying the lead biker's motorbike just as Mickey, Minnie, Scoot, and the lead Road Hog pass through a sign reading, "Bridge out ahead!" just as the four are about to fall off the bridge. To save them from falling off the bridge, Mickey plans to grab a banner held by an airplane reading, "Sky dive!" to rescue Scoot, Minnie, and the lead Road Hog (as well as his motorbike). The boss of the Road Hogs thanks Mickey just as Minnie tells Mickey that the boss of the Road Hogs is a biker. Later, a group of Road Hogs riding on scooters that look like Mickey's ride off with Mickey and Minnie into the sunset.
Trivia[]
- When the Road Hogs first appear, they are seen wearing a skull and crossbones design on their outfit with a pig design, but at the end of the episode, they are seen with a skull and crossbones design with Mickey's shorts on it, which could imply that they have been redeemed.
