"Doggone Biscuits" is the thirty-second episode of Mickey Mouse.
Synopsis[]
Minnie is in big trouble after she inadvertently feeds Pluto an entire bag of dog treats.
Plot[]
Mickey is about to go on holiday. He leaves Minnie with Pluto and his bowl, his leash, and a big bag of Pluto's favorite treats (which are very fattening). Mickey decides to leave for a month, but before he leaves he kisses Minnie and asks her to take take of Pluto. Minnie agrees as Mickey closes the door. Minnie decides to have so much fun with Pluto, only to realize that he needs more biscuits. At first, Minnie doesn't allow Pluto to eat the biscuits, mostly because they are fattening, but despite this, Minnie gives the treats instead.
After almost two days, the phone rings. Minnie tells Mickey that Pluto is fine as she keeps on giving him the biscuits, and that she didn't give him all the treats, only to realize that Mickey told her that they are very fattening, much to her shock. Pluto's belly is too fat that the floor breaks and Pluto falls through. Mickey ends the call, and Minnie falls onto Pluto's big belly and decides to get him back into shape.
Her first plan is to have Pluto wear a slim sweater, but that doesn't work, so she tries putting him in a sauna. When Minnie sees him, he is drained dry. Minnie fills Pluto back up with water but the tap handle breaks off and Pluto starts to roll and break the furniture out of the house, while Minnie gets out of fat Pluto. Meanwhile, Mickey is skipping along, singing about seeing Pluto. Minnie's third idea is to take Pluto for a jog, but Pluto doesn't want that, so Minnie gets a better idea to give him a motivation.
Minnie disguises herself as a mailman and Pluto follows her to lose his weight. Minnie takes off her mail cap, revealing a fire hydrant. Out of her mailbag come three cats. The final touch is a fire truck and her heels turn into roller skates. Suddenly, the fire truck turns left, the ladder slaps Minnie away and Minnie bumps and jumps over a truck full of dogs, who run out and chase her. They bump into a chicken setting his hammock on two trees, causing the hammock to slingshot them away. The hammock gets stuck on Pluto's butt and various items fall onto his back.
Mickey calls Pluto but hears Minnie and the other dogs falling on him. Mickey and Minnie start to have a fight with the dogs but they call Pluto to save them. Pluto runs over with the heavy load to save them. At the end, Mickey thinks that Pluto is a brave and strong hero.

- This is the third Minnie Mouse-themed episode (the first two were "Eau de Minnie" and "Clogged"), with the title card saying "Minnie Mouse" instead of the usual "Mickey Mouse".
- The sweater was very similar to Pluto's Sweater.
- Mickey sings about seeing Pluto to the tune of "How Do You Do and Shake Hands" from Alice in Wonderland.
- Pete's role and appearance as a dogcatcher in this short is mostly similar to the classic Mickey Mouse short "The Worm Turns".
- It is revealed that Minnie used to be obese before going into the sauna.
- The shot where Minnie is in front of a picture of her fat has became an internet meme.
