"For Whom the Booth Tolls" is the eighty-fifth episode of Mickey Mouse. It premiered on February 8, 2019.
Summary[]
Mickey is haunted by guilt after failing to pay the fee on a toll road.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Mickey and Minnie driving to Sans Souci Gardens for a date. Along the way, he stops at a toll booth. Mickey becomes frustrated that he doesn't have any quarters to pay the toll. So, when he approaches the booth, Minnie rips a button from Mickey's shorts, inserts it into the coin slot, and drives away.
Arriving at the gardens, Mickey becomes riddled with guilt for failing to pay the toll booth. During the date, no matter where he ran, he seems to run into the toll booth, but Minnie never sees it. At one point, while riding a tram, he looks to find that the toll booth is driving the tram.
They run out in panic, while the booth chases them. So, Minnie tries to buy a balloon from Goofy with a brick of gold. He gives them quarters as change. Mickey quickly launches a quarter into the booth's slot. It suddenly stops chasing them, and tells them to drive safely before hopping into the sunset.
