Shannon Grove (Republican Party) is a member of the California State Senate, representing District 12. She assumed office on December 5, 2022. Her current term ends on December 7, 2026.

Grove (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the California State Senate to represent District 12. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Grove previously served as state Senate minority leader.

Grove is a former Republican member of the California State Assembly, representing District 34 from 2010 to 2016. Grove did not seek re-election to the California State Assembly in 2016.

Biography

Shannon Grove was born and lives in Kern County, California. Grove served in the U.S. Army. Her career experience includes co-founding and working as the CEO of Continental Labor and Staffing Resources.[1][2]

Elections for the California State Assembly took place in 2016. The primary election was held on June 7, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was February 25, 2016, for candidates filing with signatures. The deadline for candidates using a filing fee to qualify was March 11, 2016.[3] Incumbent Shannon Grove (R) did not seek re-election.

Elections for the California State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Shannon Grove (R) and Virginia "Mari" Goodman (D) were unopposed in the blanket primary. Grove defeated Goodman in the general election.[8][9][10]
