Davies (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the California State Assembly to represent District 74. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Laurie Davies was born in Wisconsin, and lives in Laguna Niguel, California. Davies earned a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach. Davies' career experience includes working as a restaurant manager and owning a business. She served as a board member on the Transportation Corridor Agency, chaired the League of Cities Committee on Transportation, Communication and Public Works, and was elected to the Orange County Transportation Authority. Davies also served on the board and as president of the Association of California Cities, Orange County.[1]
