Jesse Arreguín (Democratic Party) is a member of the California State Senate, representing District 7. He assumed office on December 2, 2024. His current term ends on December 4, 2028.
Arreguín (Democratic Party) ran for election to the California State Senate to represent District 7. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Jesse Arreguín was elected mayor of Berkeley, California in 2016. He previously served as a member of the Berkeley City Council from 2008 to 2016 and as a member of the Berkeley Housing Commission and Rent Stabilization Board from 2004 to 2009. As of 2024, Arreguín was the president of the Association of Bay Area Governments.[1]
