Jacqui Irwin (Democratic Party) is a member of the California State Assembly, representing District 42. She assumed office on December 5, 2022. Her current term ends on December 7, 2026.
Irwin (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the California State Assembly to represent District 42. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Jacqui Irwin was born in Woodland Hills, California, and lives in Thousand Oaks, California. Irwin graduated from Taft High School in Woodland Hills, Calif., and obtained a bachelor of science in systems engineering from the University of California, San Diego, in 1985. Her career experience includes working as an engineer at Teledyne Systems and at Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Lab. Irwin was elected to the Thousand Oaks City Council in 2004. Irwin also served two terms as mayor of Thousand Oaks.[1][2][3]

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions.
