Carrillo (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the California State Assembly to represent District 39. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Juan Carrillo was born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico, and lives in Palmdale, California. Carrillo earned an associate’s degree in architecture from the College of the Desert, a bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a master’s degree in public administration (MPA) from California State University, Northridge. His career experience includes working as a city planner for the City of Palmdale. He was elected to the Palmdale City Council in 2016.[1][2]
