Grover Moscowitz (1886-1947) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He joined the court in 1925 after an appointment from Calvin Coolidge. At the time of appointment, he was a Special Deputy State Attorney General for New York. He served until his death on March 31, 1947.[1]

Judicial nominations and appointments

Eastern District of New York

Moscowitz was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on December 16, 1925 to replace Edwin Louis Garvin. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 21st, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on March 31, 1947.[1] Moscowitz was succeeded in this position by Leo Rayfiel.
